Totally avoid this place! This is a small free standing booth in the middle of the mostly empty Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, NY. I was looking for a silver chain, and saw one I liked for $21.99. There were three young women in the booth in their 20's, who were so busy on their phones, that first, they didn't even notice we were standing there. Finally one, who looked very annoyed at being bothered to have to wait on somebody during her important phone call, condescended to wait on us. She never smiled or made eye contact throughout the transaction. When I agreed to buy the chain, she stated that if I bought another, the second one would be 50% off. I choose another chain for the same price, so expected my bill to be $32.98 plus 8% tax, so about $35.00 total for the two chains. When she rung up my purchase, she said "That will be $55.88." I told her that was incorrect, and was greeted by a very snooty look, complete with an eye roll. Another of the equally unpleasant employees ran the purchase again, and the price came to the correct amount of $35.62. If I was not paying attention, I would have been ripped off for $20.00 No apologies, just the items dumped in a bag, and that was the end of that. Terrible service, rude employees, and dishonesty (or maybe just stupidity to give them the benefit of a doubt) on top of everything else. Really bad way to run a business! read more
