And they continued to give high priced jewelry for subsequent events. The service is spectacular! Our favorite people are Serena and Brandy, the owner. They know every piece of merchandise in the store and can take you directly to what you need or want. They are professional and extremely pleasant. They will give you an honest opinion, even if it means you buy something much less expensive. For example, today I went in to buy a pair of earrings I saw advertised in their beautiful holiday catalog. Brandy advised me that the size was too small and Serena knew just the pair I would like. The earrings were less than half the price of the ones I had originally wanted. The shopping experience at KFJ is always so enjoyable. If you need to return a piece of jewelry, the return policy is excellent. Many smaller stores only give store credit, but not KFJ. If you need a watchband changed or other small jewelry adjustment, KFJ does not charge and is happy to accommodate. They keep track of what one buys so it is easy to complement purchases. I never leave empty handed. My favorite jewelry store!!

We recently brought a watch in for repair, noting 3 things that needed to be taken care of. All of these items were noted on the work order and committed to be repaired. We received the watch back with only two of the items fixed. When we complained to the clerk and store manager, they said they cannot change a crystal and said we should go to Michael's and get a stone to replace it with ourselves. Meanwhile we had already paid them to do the repair and agreed on the price to do all three items up front. No partial refund was offered, no objection was made to our complaint, they just refused to do what we paid for. We won't be buying any more jewelry at Kay.

I need to replace my chain which was very worn as it was silver rather than white gold and desired a similar chain equal to length, a big clasp, and sparkle. The sales associate measured my existing chain and tried to remove the silver tarish which I give them a 10 for the effort. The sales associate gave me a crash course with the difference for silver, gold, white gold and platinum. This is customer service! The only problem is that I cannot go to Kingston, NY all the time which the only way to access this location is by car.

I also grabbed two jackets one was purple tag and one yellow. My total was way more than I added up prior heading to register. Should have been a total of $20 I was charged almost double. I was too embarrassed to speak up. I feel they make their own prices according to the customers appearance. The piercing gun malfunctioned. It took her and another woman several minutes to manually put the back on one of the earrings. Although we have been very careful to follow the cleaning instructions, both ears have massive infections. I think that the equipment was probably not clean. That is terrifying. DON'T GO THERE!
