After selecting the jewelry, I'm in the room with Elaine and everything was explained to me thoroughly. There was such a joyful warmth in how Elaine spoke that it completely relaxed me. A couple of deep breaths and I was expecting a pain level between 5-6 but believe it or not, it was like maybe a 1-2 and I think part of that is Elaine's experience with placement as well as her technique. The woman who tried to help me couldn't get jewelry in a said I needed to be re-pierced... so she re-pierced it but had trouble getting it through. She also seemed to have no experience piercing at all and was expressing being scared to pierce people and doesn't like causing people pain... I noticed that she pierced it lower than it was and closer to my breast and not the same way that it was when she told me she would be re-piercing through the same holes and she didn't - she pierced lower towards my breast. I don't know if I have an infection or what is going on because it is over a month later and I'm having extreme pain in my nipple even when just putting on a shirt and my nipple looks larger or swollen compared to my other one still over a month later and with all of this pain. My boyfriend gave me a hug this morning and I screamed out in pain because even something that light is causing a shock of pain everytime even just putting a shirt on. I'm very experienced with piercings and have never had an infection before and I'm not sure what is going on because I don't seem to have any discolored puss but my nipple being enlarged and in this much pain is very concerning to me and I will be going to urgent care today and possibly another shop to try and find out what's wrong with my nipple. I'm very upset and disappointed and even more upset I paid $100+ to have an experience like this when I know Vision or even heart and dagger if they were still around wouldn't have charged me as much to re-pierce a nipple ring that just fell out the day before nonetheless wouldn't have caused me to have an issue/possible infection

Honestly deciding was the longest part. She explains every step she will be doing so there are no surprises. The needle insertion was so quick- the pain wasn't bad at all. Much better than the traditional piercing gun. $110 for both lobes-cash price. This includes the stud earrings they pierce you with and a small pack of Himalayan salt for disinfecting your ears. Bring cash because the card price is higher. It's pricey but it's what you get working with a professional in a clean environment.

tl;dr: i got two (technically 4 by hole count) piercings here, all got infected…read more i'm very nervous to post this review given how they respond to one star reviews on their google page,,, earlier in 2023, i got my industrial done here. everything went incredibly smoothly in the moment; the jewelry fit fine, i had no pain, and i had the correct anatomy (according to the staff piercing me.) problems arose when i went home and, after a few weeks / a month or two, my industrial got infected. it was, at first, the hole closest to my head, then it spread to the hole furthest; both sides were now infected. this could have just been an industrial issue, given how notorious they are for not healing and giving people problems, but i still put it in here. they also pierced it way too close to my head. i've been to a few different places for jewelry and all have either made comments about it, or have flat out said it should not be that close. my second piercing were my second lobes for my birthday last year. when i sat down in the chair, i was given the option to use a single-use piercing gun or a needle. i asked my piercer something along the lines of "don't those damage the ear?" and he responded by pinching my lobes and claiming "there's nothing there but tissue." not verbatim; it was something along those lines. given it was cheaper to do so, i did not opt for the needle. i will admit this may have been bad on my end, but i was told *this would not damage my ear.* everything was fine up until the third month where my right ear suddenly swelled up bright red. i was told by several people to go to the doctor, where i was prescribed antibiotics; *this* piercing had gotten infected. my left ear was fine, but i would not put it past me to say that one was infected too. while both of these incidents were years ago, i see on their google reviews the owner is incredibly unprofessional and almost petty in regarding bad reviews. i have not posted this in, to be completely honest, fear of the backlash from them. they do not seem like they have changed their attitude nor piercing style (for lack of better terms; how they pierce people). i also want to tack onto this review that my friend got a tattoo here. it's small; it's on her wrist. she was not given any second skin and was apparently just rawdogging it if that makes sense??? i'm not too knowledgeable about tattoos, but that doesn't seem like the proper aftercare for a FRESH tattoo (i'm talking not even 5 hours post tattoo session).

I called and had a quick discussion with Vinny. He was attentive and fast to respond. Due to my experience we didn't need to review the care and what to expect experience but we did glance over it. This man is a true professional and you can tell he loves what he does. I showed him what I wanted and even before I got there he had my design and had it in 3 different sizes. He took the time to be sure the size, placement, and design was exactly what I wanted. He quickly got to work and it was quick and amazing. The shop is so clean and each artist had their own room so if you plan on getting a tattoo in a private area or need to be somewhat exposed, the door is closed in each artists private studio. No head-head-banging-rattle-your-brain-kill-your-momma music. Just a real clean, chill experience. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. My only experience was with Vinny, FOR NOW but take the advice of this 57 year old man who's been in countless shops. This place is amazing.
