I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. The lady working tonight was so sweet. My daughter gets nervous easily and she was very calm. The jewelry selection was great and my daughter picked gold hearts, perfect for Valentine's Day tomorrow. We took our time on placement and I had her draw the marks over at least 5 times. She never got impatient at all. My daughter was a bit upset after the first eat got pierced do we took a moment to rally her back up. My daughter is 8, by the way. After the second was done she gave ya a certificate for getting her ears pierced, aftercare instructions, stickers and a lollipop. We had a great experience! read more

I had very high hopes for this place as my first born was pierced their about 7 years ago and the employee who helped us then was extremely helpful. Very determined to make sure her marks for piercing were even, kind, friendly and over clearly was putting the customer first. I don't know what's happened since then but wow just wow at the lack of professionalism, helpfulness, and just plain old kindness. My husband and I had a few questions regarding the cost and what kind of earrings infants get and the employee behind the counter could not be more bothered. Once she showed us, we were just talking about options and ideas and ROLLED HER EYES as if she was becoming impatient with us. I brushed it off because she seemed tired and I thought well maybe it's been a long afternoon for her...should have taken the hint then that our business was better elsewhere. We decided to get our infant pierced and she seemed irritated by the fact that he was squirmy. She barely cleaned her hands before putting on gloves and cleaning her piercing gun with a wet wipe. Another red flag I should have raised more hell about. I tried to make light of it all and she gave me blank stares. Associate # 13520529 Any who that's that bad encounter then a couple days later one of the earrings falls out I call to find out what I can do about it since the earring is lost now, the employee says we cant do anything for you unless you purchased the extended warranty. Well to my surprise I actually did purchase that so I went back to get some help. The employee says oh well you need the extended warranty and the jewelry. If I had the jewelry why would I be back here dealing with this nonsense again??? Over all I wish I had gone to an actual professional piercing place like zebra. Do not bother with these people who couldn't care less about the health safety or satisfaction of the customer. read more

Robbed! Bought $700.00 worth of items here yesterday. 1 particular item was a bracelet, in the amount of $200.00. The girl Jessica lost my bracelet, it wasn't in the box when I got home. I Called as soon as I had realized that I'm missing my $200.00 gold bracelet. My issue is that not even the manager nor this chick could help me or assists me in calling customer service to help me get my jewelry or my money back. I have to do it and it wasn't my error to fix! I'm so turned off at the quality of service! The jewelry is fine. However, the people are lame Asf. $200.00 bracelet missing, no accountability, I got robbed. Dirty and awful and I'm paying the price. Went there last Friday night to get a couple more piercings. There were two other customers there and Jessica, the assistant manager, was by herself. She took me ahead of the other customers and sat me in the chair. I specifically asked if she had sterilized the gun and she said yes. I watched her take it out of a drawer and not clean it at all. Then wiped my ear with a dry alcohol swab and bang, bang done. I had to return to work in the mall so I didn't say anything at the time. By Monday, my ear was swollen and infected so I removed the earrings. On Tuesday, I went back to the kiosk and requested my money back and offered the earrings back. The young lady who was working said no refund but to call corporate. I did so on Wednesday. Spoke with Jameela in customer service who reiterated the no refund policy but said she would email the DM and the store manager (who conveniently is on vacation). I am very disappointed as I have many other piercings and know how to care for them. STAY AWAY from this kiosk and this chain. They obviously do not care about sanitary procedures or their customers. read more

They were very moody and unprofessional. They raised their voice at my daughter who was scared. To top it off, they missed their mark and pierced my daughters ears uneven. ( I was told I could return it and get my money back if it was to short) It was too short so I returned it. While trying to return it I was told that since I paid in cash I would have to wait two weeks for a company check refund. Do not come here. I would honestly give them 0 stars if I could, and keep in mind, I'm usually a very generous yelper. I always go to Pagoda to get jewelry and my piercings, but I tend to get them when I'm in the city. Sadly, this pagoda is the closest one to me and it's the worst one I've ever been to. First, I talked to Tamika (or Shaniqua, not really sure what her name was) on the phone to ask them if I could switch my cartilage piercing from my left ear to my right ear, and I bought warranty before. She said, yes just come in and return the earring you got and we will re-pierce it. I came in two days after, excited to get it re-pierced, and I tell the employee that I wanted to get my ear re-piercing. She turns around and talks to another coworker, which happens to be the one I talked to on the phone, the manager! She said, no you're supposed to take the earring off 24 hours before. She never told me this on the phone, which pissed me off because I took time to drive here and get it pierced to get shot down. Also, she was extremely rude about it. I come back in today, and I see the same two. I tell them again and the manager says "go to the other side, she'll help you." They take over 10 minutes to do paperwork that should take 2 minutes or less. Besides paying attention to me, they're talking to each other. So inconsiderate and rude, especially for the manger to be interrupting and talking about her own piercing. Seriously? At this point I just want my piercing so I can leave. I sit in the chair and the employee asks me where I want it. I tell her. She doesn't even bother to show me the earring she's re-piercing me with, nor tell me when she's going to pierce it. She just pierced it, and it hurt more than the previous cartilage piercing I had. When I was done, all she said was okay and walked away. Worst customer service ever, and I work in customer service myself. In addition, when she looked over my warranty, she took off my $10 coupon and tossed it! Its sad to see the bad mouthing on this kiosk, these employees are spectacular. Having been in the retail field over 10 years, I applaud these girls and guys for what the go through. Customers who interrupt other customers being served because they think they are entitled, people who yell at the employees for being on MANDATORY calls. (Diana C. who complains about the employee being on the phone, then coming back and not dropping his current customer for her. You wouldn't want that done to you) And to Emily Marie, did you ask about XL posts? People need to understand that these people aren't doctors and there are STATE laws prohibiting them from helping you. Its not that they don't want to. I have 13 piercings all done by this company and I have NOT ONCE had a problem. Karla's team is great. Just because YOU had a bad experience does not immediately put the employees at fault. Horrible horrible customer service when I got there with my two girls and my husband thinking that I was just going to purchase some earings for my girls the guy at the customer service was the only one was on the phone didn't even acknowledge us until 15 minutes after and told us he was on the phone in a conference call with his boss and it was going to take a while , we went back not even 10 minutes afrer then he was with some kid that had a fake LV belt on trying to act like he was a rapper purchaching alot of bling bling PLEASE!!!! the guy at the cust serv didn't even acknowledge us again and we just decided to leave obviously the poor kid didn't even know how to multitasking and I won't be ever purshase anything here!!!! read more

I have been shopping here for YEARS, and I have never had any problems whatsoever! Their product is on point for quality and price. Would I get my (or my children's) ears pierced there, absolutely NOT! These are not trained professionals, they are given a crash course, so you get what you pay for. Go to a trained professional and pay double, its worth it ... As for wanting spectacular customer service, again go to a high end jewelry store if you want personalized attention and you will pay for that too! I was there today, and honestly I felt bad for the employees. There were only two, and the kiosk was surrounded. Most of the people were just blurting out questions, even though they were busy helping other customers. One father was particularly ridiculous asking for this, that, and the other (pirate earrings, earrings that say 'I love bats' etc.) and I almost told him to knock it off . The point is that's what these employees have to deal with constantly, rude, ignorant, selfish, people who can't wait their turn, or waste everybody's time when they aren't really serious buyers wanting to see everything, then just walking away without so much as a simple "thank you!" By the time it was my turn, that poor thing looked stressed to the max, but instead of being angry that she wasn't overly friendly, I actually apologized to her for having to deal with idiots! Add to that the little cramped space they have to work in, half of which was taken up with boxes (must have received a shipment with no time to check it in and put it away) that they had to work around, and having to answer the phones. We just brought our God daughter (my best friends daughter) in today to get her ears pierced, she's almost 7 months old. Tamika was nothing short of friendly, professional and patient. We came in knowing exactly what we wanted and they had the earrings in stock which was amazing. When it came time to mark the babies ears she was very patient with our pickyness. At the very last minute I requested that they do a double piercing and I was half way expecting for Tamika to get irritated with my request, instead she asked Lindsay to glove up for a double and with no hesitation she did just that. These ladies are the epitome of wonderful customer service and we really really appreciate the patient, kind, and fast service we got. We were literally in and out within 15 minutes. I took my daughter to the concord location and I was a bit taken back... My boyfriend was holding our baby and the girl who was doing them had made the marks on her ears and completely forgot we were even there or something when her friend walked up to the counter. She didn't bother telling her friend she was with a costumer and she would talk to him later or anything. She continued the conversation like she didn't have a job to do, until another woman said her name and told her to focus. I had the best experience at Piercing Pagoda in Concord a few days ago! I got my daughters ears pierced and she was so scared to do it but the sales lady named Jessica was so helpful and so kind, she was able to calm my daughter down and pierce her ears exactly the way I wanted them! She dotted them and made sure we liked where the dots were before the piercing. She even helped me piece together a cute set for myself to wear to a work event! I will definitely be back to shop with Jessica at this location for all of our piercings and jewelry! read more

If only there was such thing as no stars.. The worst piercing experience of MY LIFE. As well as the shitty costumer service from the general manager and employees who are extremely inexperienced btw.. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you do NOT I repeat DO NOT!!!! go there. You might as well spend the extra money to get pierced somewhere else. I went in to get my cartilage piercing done and everything seemed fine until a couple of weeks later my earring managed to get STUCK in the hole my ear was pierced at (which could have all been avoided if they sold earrings with longer posts or if I would have been informed prior to the piercing that was possible to happen) I came back like one of the employees said to in order for them to assist me but when I got there the manager said she could not "legally" do anything about it which is complete bullshit. If I didn't sign a waiver I would have sued them most definitely. Desperate for help I went to Claire's and they kindly offered their help and managed to remove the earring. Was that so hard Piercing Pagoda? All you had to do was ACTUALLY try to help me and fix your mistake. I didn't even get a sincere apology or anything. Waste of time. Waste of money read more
