I've gotten my dry cleaning and tailoring done at Pierce's. I'm very cautious about tailoring since I've had tailors who have made my pant legs different lengths in the past...but Piece's did a very sturdy, invisible hem on my trousers! I've even had a sweater repaired and I can't even tell where the original hole was. I've had everything dry cleaned here - pants, jacket, comforter, pillow, down blanket and i've even had my Uggs cleaned! My peacoat came back like new (after having a drink spilled on it) - it looked like I had just bought it and my Uggs looked great after a winter of trudging through snow - all the salt and water stains were removed. Prices are reasonable for the size of your item. My family has been going here for generations now and the work is consistently good so far! read more

Mostly a good experience over the years here, but recently had an extremely rough experience cleaning a rug that will ensure I do not come back. My dog threw up on the corner our rug, no major issue, let's go get it professionally cleaned. $150 later picked it up and stored it for about a month as we were getting work done on the room it was going in. The smell of the rug was awful. Smelled like a much more severe version of leaving your clothes in the washer while wet for a few days. Took it back, person said "it must not have been completely dry when it was wrapped up" - okay, lets clean it and give it a few weeks to make sure it's dry. No change. And they made me pay to have a rug that is now unusable. read more

We had an unusual problem. We needed to cover our pizza oven, but the standard cover did not account for a vent extension (which came with the oven). I brought the cover to the people at Pierce and they did an outstanding job fabricating a zipper for the side that now leads to a collared hole at the top. It now wraps around the oven and secures around the vent. It's beautiful work and I am very appreciative of the crew at Pierce. Wonderful tailoring. read more

Very glad to find a good local cleaners in Catonsville. Pierce Cleaners and Tuxedo on Edmondson Ave did a great job with the items I brought in for cleaning. The gentleman at the counter is very friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable... about what you expect to pay for cleaning in this area. read more

Horrible service!! Do not prepay for any services here. They take your money let the items sit for a week make no attempts to clean the item then when you come to pick it up, give you no refund. read more

I see they are open 7:00 till 7:00 now. Shirts are always well done; no perfume, no more stapling the little tag to the shirt.

Very friendly, good service, fast turnaround, reasonable prices. Who could ask for more from a dry cleaner? I had a long men's cashmere/wool topcoat cleaned and steamed, for $16. Had to have my now husband's tux altered quickly for our wedding. He procrastinated so I took over. Measuring was a snap and turnaround was extremely quick. Pleasantly surprised at the cost. Would definitely recommend them for tailoring. read more

Excellent job, got some stains out that I was worried about. Turn around was fast and service was friendly.

I called because of their advertising pick up and delivery. Had to call multiple times after my comforter was not picked up at the time given. Delivery back to me was 3 days after it was due, and this again after repeated calls. Person answering the phone stated driver was having truck trouble. On multiple dats?? On top of that, they washed my comforter, when it clearly stated, "dry clean only". I asked if they could dry clean it, before I made the appointment. I would never use this service again. read more

So glad to find a reliable dry cleaners in the area! They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for and at least my clothes don't come back crunchy or smelling of cigarettes (other cleaners in the area, I'm looking at you). Plus, they are always courteous, efficient, and the place is quite clean. read more

I use this place mainly for their alterations services. Gotta say, they are a hidden gem for this area. Quick turnaround and beautiful results, even on difficult alterations have me a permanent customer. Highly recommend this for any needing work done or cleaning. I took a shirt here with bad sweat stains and the owner was like, "I can't help you" I was a bit disappointed but glad he was forthcoming instead of just trying to make a buck. read more
