My wife is a big burger fan (FYI: she raved about her burger, too), so I decided to try the place out, since we were in the area. Bit hard to locate, but parking was fine. Since the weather was good, we ate outside. There is both open air & tent-covered seating options. Speaking of seating - you must memorize your table # BEFORE going inside to order as meals are delivered to your table. I ordered the "Big Daddy M": 6oz beef, medium-cooked, with Bayley Hazen blue cheese, caramelized onions, bacon bits, garlic aioli, bibb lettuce and red onions. What a heavenly, savory combination. Each bite was full of flavor. And the French Fries? Well, super tasty as well - I ate every potato fried crumb. At other places, fries are usually bland, but not here. The order service inside was pleasant and quick; be sure to note the chalk board with a list of food options (e.g. my Wife ordered a custom burger, just the way she wanted). After ordering we went back outside to our #'d table - wait for the food was relatively quick. When done eating, just leave your baskets, etc. on the table (there is a sign stating this practice). Note: while I did not have kids here, there were plenty of families with young kids & toddlers. I definitely want to try this place a 2nd time.

Piecasso was one of the highlights of our trip to Stowe. We ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza along with a Caesar salad, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The crust had a great texture, the cheese was generous without being overwhelming, and the pepperoni had just the right amount of flavor. One thing that really stood out to me was how good I felt after eating it. I usually end up with a stomachache after eating pizza, but that did not happen here. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the pizza felt much lighter than what I am used to. The Caesar salad was just as impressive. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, the dressing had plenty of flavor without being too heavy, and everything tasted well balanced. It was the perfect side to go with the pizza. The restaurant had a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and the food came out quickly even though it was busy. You can tell they care about the quality of their food, and it really shows in every bite. If you are in Stowe and looking for great pizza, I would absolutely recommend Piecasso. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. I would happily come back the next time I am in the area. read more

Just saw the pic of the bearded Pie Casso pizza maker with his pants falling down showing us his underwear like an aspiring hip-hop artist. That is rather off putting. To have that mess around food for the public? And there's another guy with an unrestrained goatee by the oven on their website. Is Vermont living in the 1700s with its health code? I thought it was pretty much standard for a beard net to be required in a situation like that. These guys even show the same unrestrained beard on their home page as if it's good for their image. I know a meat store where a guy had to either shave or wear the beard net to keep his job. I patronized this place once while skiiing in the area. I didn't see the bearded guy but they seem to emphasize music, decor, alcohol sales & toppings on their pizza, which might be good businesswise because their base product is mediocre. Their pizza is nowhere near as good as what's available in North Jersey, NYC, Westchester, LI or SW Connecticut. Pie Casso reminds me of the places in Aspen & Breckinridge that exploit the skiers & year-round tourists with overpriced mediocrity. Now I've seen that photo & doubt I'll be returning to this pizza place. read more

If you're looking for a great spot for pizza and drinks, look no further than Piecasso. This restaurant is a gem with a cool artsy vibe that's perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Our visit to Piecasso in Stowe, VT was marked by missed opportunities and disappointments from the start. Prior to our arrival, we attempted to join the online waitlist, only to find it inexplicably shut down, leaving us unable to secure a spot in advance. Upon reaching the restaurant, we were informed of a one-hour wait by the host, who assured us he would text my girlfriend when our table was ready. Regrettably, we never received the promised text, leaving us in the dark about our status, despite eventually opting to sit at the bar. This initial hiccup set the tone for the rest of our experience. The pizzas, ordered with gluten-free crust, arrived cold, failing to impress. Additionally, the bartender's lackluster attitude and absence of attentive service further dampened our dining experience. Despite Piecasso's appeal for its extensive gluten-free offerings, our overall visit left much to be desired. read more

Have to say very disappointing. While the service was tolerable as far as speed it was intolerable in friendliness, professionalism, and cleanliness. The waitress was impatient and rushed and there were empty tables. The food runner came to the table and said spaghetti ? I said with what sauce. She said just spaghetti. It was spaghetti marinara and different from the other 3 pastas on the table. Eggplant rollatini was tough and awful. Said something to the waitress and she said she will tell the kitchen. Stormed off and brought back check and said 20% tip already included. That's why they don't care about service. This place is like an Italian diner ! read more

We enjoyed ourselves and the meal, and the drinks were reasonably priced.
