First time! Great quick pizza place! Awesome location too. Right in front of a huge strip center. It's what I call "subway" style pizza! You create your own or choose from some of their great suggested combos! Some of the best red sauce I've ever had!!! My boyfriend was is a huge margarita pizza fan, & that did not disappoint either! Wanted to try the boneless wings, but an employee said they have been trying to restock them for over a week. Stopped in to pick up a pizza for dinner tonight. I had the Maui Wowwi. (If we're gonna be real here half the reason I ordered it was because I wanted to say Maui Wowwi out loud.) It ended up being a pretty good pizza, especially since it was inexpensive and quick. This place reminds me of Subway, but for pizza, and with better-looking ingredients. This is my first time at pie Five Pizza. A friend of mine told me they just opened this location near me and I should give them a try. For their grand opening, their pizzas were $5.00. When I arrived the place was packed. I waited in line for about an hour. I think they offered at least four sauce toppings and plenty of toppings to choose from. You can actually watch them place the toppings on your pizza. I ordered three pizzas and three turtle brownies. The pizzas were ok and I would come back again. I'm married to a New Yorker and he's picky when it comes to pizza but he said the pizzas were ok too. The customer service is awesome and that's always important to me. read more

Love this place for quick, inexpensive, fresh, non greasy eats! Fresh ingredients and a healthier choice then a burger or fried chicken. I'm a fan of the things crust pizza, Italian side salad with half ranch/balsamic dressing and let's not forget sharing a ultimate brownie! Service is crap. Crap service makes my mood bad and the food taste like crap. They give my pizza to some lady with a ton of kids. They give me her pizza. Her kids touch all over my pizza and throw parm powder all over it. While I tell the manager my pizza was given to someone else and I have that someone else's pizza, that someone else brings the pizza back to the counter.... the manager looks me dead in the eye "do you want this pizza, or you want me to make you a new one?" My first thought "no, I don't want the pizza, covered in parm powder, touched by her entire brood" I tell him "I need a new one made" he orders a kid to remake it, and scurries back to his cave. I stand there and patiently wait for some kid to yell "who's pizza is this." It's mine. Finally. Am I wrong in expecting some comp, or discount for their screw up and my wasted time? I didn't get one. It's ok. I'll never be back. Tried this place for the first time today and it was awesome. Food is prepared and served the same as if you went to chipotle or subway. I've never been to a place that severe pizza in this fashion but I like it! You basically pick your pizza size, I git a personal pizza, and your sauce, cheese, then all your toppings. Meh. I was excited to see they offered a thin and crispy crust. I placed my order online and the wait time was very short. So that was good. I went straight to pickup - no wait - grab and go. I live 1mi from this location, not sure drive time home is a factor in this but the crust was NOT AT ALL crispy. Overall, toppings & sauce etc were okay, nothing special but the crust was so disappointing. I also ordered the cheesy bread and it looked like the cheese was "just" melted enough so there wasn't any of the browned bubbles or crispy edges that are so good on cheese bread. I went in on a busy Monday night and although it took about 15 minutes before I got my pizza, I can't complain because the staff was working HARD. They were really very busy, and I was really impressed with their positive attitudes and smiling faces. There were 3 workers and each of them was extremely friendly to each and every customer and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks for the good pizza and good vibes. Will definitely be back. This was my first visit to pie five and I ordered the Maui Wowi on original pan crust. Basically consists of bbq sauce, bacon, pineapple, Canadian bacon. I did an on-line order today to have it delivered to my work and they screwed EVERYTHING up! I didn't get my drink which I bought, the pizza I ordered wasn't even remotely correct, I ordered breadsticks with RANCH and they gave my pizza sauce, yuck. The delivery driver was rude she literally asked me my name when she walked into my store and when I confirmed she tossed my bag on my counter!! No thank you no nothing just walked out! First of all, the service is great. All of the employees are very friendly and the environment feels very welcoming. I can't give the place a great score based upon that alone though. My issue comes with the taste of the food. This place is like Subway, but for pizza. Certainly not a novel concept by today's standards, but people like choices and this offers that or the option to choose from a menu of pre-designed pizzas. I opted to create my own pizza. I eat a lot of food so I got the following: Thin crust, spicy marinara, mozzerella cheese, spinach, chicken, beef, mushrooms, pineapple, sun dried tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and magic dust (a mixture of parmesan cheese and some other dried spices.) I was hungry, don't judge me. What made me sad about all of this was that the only thing I could taste on my pizza was the pineapple, the cheese, and the marinara sauce. The crust didn't have any flavor at all. Imagine a saltine cracker without the salt. At one point, I picked up a fallen piece of chicken from my pizza... tasteless. The meal was certainly filling and the pizza was only $7.00, so I think in general that most people would be willing to pay that price. I just can't recommend the place because it's nowhere near as good as many other pizza places that are offering twice the pizza for about the same price. Who would have thought that a pizza made in 12 minutes would be absolute garbage? I gave it a chance. I ordered a pepperoni pan pizza. The pepperoni slices were thin, the cheese was bland, and the crust was undercooked. I paid over $10 for it and a soda. The dining area had very few clean tables. The only good thing about my experience was that it wasn't very busy on a Friday evening. I counted four employees - they probably could have used at least one other to clean the dining area or to ring up customers. My pizza sat sliced and ready next to the register for a full 3 minutes while the girl pulled other customers' pies off the conveyor and cut them. Seemed like she wasn't super into showing any hustle whatsoever. Lesson learned: stay away from this chain, opt for one of the local family-owned places down the road in Euless or Bedford. read more

This place seems to be going down hill. The food is ok when you don't have have giant bubbles in your pie. The lobby is always messy and the employees seem stoned 90% of the time. Visit the other locations, not this one. My standards are not high for fast food but obviously management is way to lack. Today was my second time having a bad experience, last time one of the employees had their boyfriends chilling in the nasty lobby vaping and mean mugging everyone. Do yourself a favor and shape up your staff, this could be a decent business and the food can be really great! Pie Five is awesome. Their pizza is by far one of the bests from the fresh garlic on the crust to the variety of ingredients available. The selection of crusts is nice as well - I particularly like that they have a gluten free crust. The ingredients are always fresh, as is the pizza which is quickly baked while you wait. read more

This is probably the sixth Pie Five location I have been to and it was by far the worst experience. Hoping it was just first week problems. They had one guy making pizzas even though there were about 10 people in line. He was working hard, but because he was going solo, it was the sloppiest most thrown together pizzas I have seen at a Pie Five. The pizzas looked like a mess, and he was going so fast he was just throwing toppings into wrong bins. I guess because he was going so fast, nearly every topping bin was littered with about 3 or 4 other toppings. I didn't ask for peppers on my pizza, but because some had fallen in the mushroom bin, peppers is what I got as well and he didn't bother to pull them off. When they finally put our pizzas in the oven, they got jammed in the oven and it took them about 5 minutes to get them out. They were burned. The kid asked if we thought they looked ok. Nah....I prefer my pizza to not look like a hockey puck pal....so they remade them. And we had to watch the same guy throw on toppings so fast the pizza looked like a mess again. When we got to the register, the guy just gave us a blow off "sorry" that sounded like he could care less and that was it. Didn't take care of our bill. Didn't comp a soda. Didn't offer to bring us our pizzas when they finally came out, so we just had to stand there in the way trying not to block other people in line. Honestly, I didn't even need anything free, just show me as your customer that you care my experience isn't a complete joke. I have seen a lot of new fast casual restaurants open in the area lately, and every single one of them has had a Manager-type looking person there to greet you with a smile and make sure the place is running right. There was not one person there that looked like they knew what they were doing. The kid at the register could have cared less. One last thing. The lady behind us was about to pay and the guy quoted what she owed. She said that she had ordered this same meal about 10 times, and the price was always the exact same, why is this one more expensive..."Lady, I don't know, I just push the buttons on the computer and this is what it tells me you owe. Do you still want the pizza or not." Pretty weak showing on your first week. I'll give this one another try since it's close to my house and I'm hoping it was just first week issues and my experience with other locations have always been great, but if it goes like this the next time, I wont be returning to this location. read more

I have been going on Mondays for their Monday madness special for the past three weeks always get a large because the advertising says any pizza for 5.55 such a good deal . However this past Monday the girl at the register totaled it up to be 18$ I told her the sign says any pizza for 5.55 and she told me that was only on the 11 in but the advertising says any pizza then I told her it would be cheaper to go back through and get 2 11 in and she said yes it would I said but then you would have to throw that one away and waste food cost and she didn't seem to care she was very rude about it . So I left the store and went somewhere else so sad she should have handled it differently so I will pay for higher price pizza !!! And furthermore I think that you need to fix your advertising sign !! And your rude employees!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

(This review is not about the food) I ran in this location today to pick up a gift card. There were probably 8 or so people in line to order pizza so i just went to the register-with money in hand as not to delay anyone. A young woman came up to the register and i said i needed to get a gift card. She looked at me like i was crazy then said-while looking at 2 women who were waiting on their pizza's-they were in line. (in this time she could have rung it up) I said, i just need to get this gift card for $25. She gives me the receipt but not the "bonus" for buying the card. I had to point it out. She knew nothing about it. (therefore should not be on the register) So i stepped away so she could ring up the women. She then looked at the sign on front of the register with the gift card info and said "you have to buy something" Duh. I did. So i asked for a manager-told him i bought the gift card-so he promptly handed me the "freebies." Should I ever eat at this location, I hope the rest of the service is better than this. read more

We've returned a few times to this casual, have-it-your-way pizza place. Individual pizzas are made to your specification based on your choice of pizza crust....gluten free, thin and crispy, wheat, others. So many choices of toppings can slow up a long line, but I really like getting what I want without worrying that an extra topping might cost another dollar. Into the oven goes your creation and when it comes out there are still more choices. I love the fresh basil to pop on at the end. In addition to the pizza, they also have salads, breadsticks, and a few desserts. read more

Good pricing, 6.99 for a pizza. The have a good variety of toppings and their toppings are fresh (especially the chicken). I've tried the pesto Alfredo and the buffalo chicken and those were both very tasty. Only con is that toppings are sometimes sparsely put on- I had to ask for more chicken last time I came since only 1/4 of the pizza even had a piece. Been here twice now. Both times the pizzas were messes with toppings tossed on haphazardly. Whatever topping you order don't assume you'll get that on every piece. With both pizzas there was at least one piece among the six pieces that had no meat. No two bites are the same and all are mostly crummy. The first time I ordered the Athenian on the crispy artisan thin crust. Sounded good but there was an underlying flavor of something off. Couldn't pinpoint it, but I didn't care for it. Second time I ordered my own personal pizza - this time with the whole grain thin crust with fairly standard toppings: Marinara, cheese, mushrooms, spinach, Italian sausage, black olives, and tomatoes. Finished it off with their "magic dust" (a mix of Italian seasonings and dried cheeses), red pepper, and the sorriest basil I've seen (to be fair it is the end of season). Again, there was something off. This time I could pinpoint some of the off flavor to crappy mushrooms but that didn't account for all of it. My guess is that they just use subpar cheeses. I ate two pieces hoping it would get better (they're small) and am leaving the rest for the hubby. I already know he'll eat it, but will tell me it wasn't good. Service was good and very friendly, though a bit chaotic considering there were only 3 other people in line. Even though I was obviously the next person waiting for the next pizza to come out of the oven the guy asked the woman behind me what extras she wanted on it. Fortunately I wasn't totally invisible and he didn't get very far. Nevertheless we won't be back as there are so many other much better options for a quick dinner or lunch out there. read more

We went here the other day on a coupon. I had not heard anything about this place so was quite curious. All the pizzas are the same individual size and price which makes everything way simple! It's like Chipotle but pizza! You build your own with whichever ingredients you want and then it goes through this super fast oven and your pizza is ready in 5 minutes or less. My husband and I split one but could have eaten a couple more pieces so next time we will get 2. He likes the thin crust and they are not as filling as a regular crust. The restaurant only had a couple other people in it but they seemed to have a somewhat steady stream of take-out orders. The staff seemed friendly enough and efficient.
