Beyond their generous financial support of our organization, they have repeatedly given their time and expertise to work directly with our youth in our Life Empowerment Program. What has always stood out to me is that their involvement goes far beyond writing a check. They show up, treat our kids with respect, and genuinely care about making an impact. In every interaction I've had with Rick, he has been professional, dependable, generous, and easy to work with. As the Executive Director of a youth organization, I'm very particular about the people and businesses we allow to work with our students, and I have been completely comfortable putting Rick & his company in front of our youth. I can only speak to my own experience, but it has consistently been an excellent one, and I'm grateful for the partnership and support they have provided to Pass Da R.O.C.K. and the youth we serve.

They really did go above and beyond as one of them took the time to even give me a demonstration on how toilet paper (who knew) is so important in buying the right kind to avoid this problem in the future. The cost was 10x what we would have paid for just the septic cleaning but it really looked like we needed it. They completed the actual work but left our lawn a mess! Piles of dirt everywhere and when we called to complain, they were not helpful at all. Upon fixing the lawn ourselves, we found that they threw the old septic parts into the piles they left. These parts would have caused extensive damage to our lawn mower and someone could have gotten hurt. Only after all of this did we find out that the drivers/servicemen work on a commission basis! Now we really doubt all of the repairs they did. DO NOT TRUST THEM FOR RESIDENTIAL WORK!!!!!!!!! At the very least, do not trust that they will return your lawn to normal. Of course, I started with the big box stores to nail down what would be a ridiculous price. Coming up short on so many other potential contractors, I mistakenly searched the web using this company's name--thinking it was another that I had been in contact with. I was impressed by CNY Flooring's online customer photos and testimonials, and afterward the willingness of the owner to arrange a free estimate, then finally and most of all the excellent pricing. I purchased my own tile elsewhere, and used CNY Flooring for the installation only. The owner Sid and his assistant did such awesome work and clean-up after that I'm now considering having more flooring work where I hadn't even thought of it before. I will provide an update and photos when the last piece is installed. But, I can tell you already that if you're looking for quality, timeliness, professionalism, and reasonable pricing, look no further. CNY Flooring is one of the best that I've encountered in 20 years here in Syracuse, and more than a half dozen tile flooring contractors in my home over the years. Can't say enough wonderful things about them. Read less
