We purchased our pool heater at this business in 2021, since then they have opened and closed the…read morepool each year. They opened it this year (2023) in May by the last week of June I noticed a leak from one of the pipes attached to the water heater. I called Riverside Pools and Spas and they sent a service person to repair it. I received a bill for $281.83! I was informed by the representative of Riverside Pools and Spas, when I called to question this charge, that because I contacted them so long after installation (2 months) that the $165.00 service charge was correct. Of course this would be the summer when because of the amount of grey and rainy days we did not use the pool as often and I did not notice the leak sooner. The service person indicated that the glue used to join the PVC pipe had failed, most likely because the heater had been turned on too soon after the pipes were joined, it would have been good to know this before it was turned on. What ever the case plumbing is not covered by a warranty. Lesson learned, we will be shopping for new pool service center, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone. If you do use them I encourage you to carefully check their work right after it is completed.

Like everyone else I was given a "line of chatter" when purchasing a pool but when the heating unit malfunctioned no one returned calls, I had to have them bypass the heating unit in order to run the pool and I was told that it could not be repaired but had to be replaced after only the 2nd season! I keep a cool temperature in the pool and so the heater had been used perhaps four times a season! Apparently, there is only a one year warranty on a $2000.00 heater! A return phone call from a knowledgeable person would have been appreciated. It is time to move on to a more reliable source for pool maintenance and replacement parts.

We were very impressed with their showroom. After looking around, we decided to have an in-home consultation. We met with Jake at our house about a month later, and we were very impressed. We bought a stove, liner, and installation from them. As it turned out, Jake was the owner. I spoke with him in private about how impressed I was with his company thus far, as I own a small construction company in the Berkshires. He was up front with us about the installation being sometime in January. 2026. The installers came on time, and everyone was kind and courteous. There was a part for the surround on backorder, so we had to wait a few more weeks for them to finish the installation. When they came a few weeks later, the installer was Carl Celella. This guy was fantastic. He knew his stuff. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and his cleanliness. He showed me how to use the stove correctly and clean the glass properly. I want to thank you for being a company that we can count on. If you are in the market for a stove or anything masonry, I highly recommend this company. I am concerned about the maintenance cost and what I might have to do myself to minimize that cost. So I called around and was referred to a number of different companies. Spoke to two and was underwhelmed by the responses and overwhelmed by the estimated costs. And then upon a recommendation I called Swim King. Dennis Galderisi answered the phone and from his the very first words my anxiety came down. Dennis was absolutely great. He clearly knows everything to know about pools and he answered my many questions with tremendous patience. He addressed my cost concerns by suggesting a tailored maintenance approach to how we will use the pool and suggested a number of ways we could do some of the basics and save money. His approach and manner felt sincere and honest. My next step is to get to his store and meet him in person. I am comfortable that I have found a pool professional who I can trust.

I understand if their client roster is full but the way they communicated was really smug. I told them I live less than a five minute drive away and the guy said "our cut off is a 4 minute drive." Ok guy. We ended up buying overpriced supplies from them anyway and our pool water still went green. Just YouTube it and buy supplies off Amazon.
