For all my XS and S girls, they hardly carry our size. You'll have better luck here if you like how…read morelarger sizes fit, or are looking for jewelry and accessories. After sifting through various clothing throughout their dim lit store, they mainly carry L, XL and above. I saw two size M and one size S. There may have been more, but it was so dark I should have brought a flashlight. I asked one of the associates if they carry size S, she stated that they are 'having a hard time getting size S from the brands they get their clothing from'. Hmm. This is a pro because all sizes are beautiful and larger sizes deserve representation. For me, this is a con because I won't find clothing to feel beautiful in and I had no idea before stepping in. Generally when shops carry inventory of exclusive sizes, they'll advertise this with bigger/smaller mannequins, or photos of models that represent their target audience. If you're looking for dim lighting, jewelry and accessories, and/or larger sized clothing, stop by.

My son had purchased a Baylor vintage letterman's jacket and because of the age of the jacket, the…read moreneck lining and the cuff linings were old and caused irritation around his neck and wrists. The modern man team took my call. Let me know that if they could not do it properly that they would refer me to another business that absolutely could completely re-create the linings. However, after my son had brought the actual jacket to them, they did determine that they would be able to complete the job. After spring break, my son went back to pick up his jacket and was amazed at how comfortable now the inside linings were and without any noticeable alterations, keeping that vintage look and an extremely reasonable price. We will be coming back for all of our tailoring needs, and I highly recommend this location!

So I should preface this with I took a trip to Waco to wedding dress shop with my future MIL and…read morefriends from San Antonio. Needless to say it was a long day. I picked Georgio's because I was looking for a Stella York dress and they were having a 'trunk show' that day. Tawnya is AMAZING. The no-photo policy is not. But I'll get to that in a bit. She listened way better than the other two bridal places I went to that day and helped me hone into the dress of my dreams. But I'm super analytical and this was my first time trying on dresses so I really needed time to process. The place is super clean, very high end, comfortable and spacious. I'm a bigger bride (size 14-16) and they had SO many selections in my size - more than any of the other places I went to, so I'm not sure what one of the reviewers on google was talking about. No matter your size, they will have plenty for you to try. But I had two other appointments and like I said, needed time to process, so I got a quote that had a little sale with it (which was really nice!) and went to the rest of my appointments. At the end of the day I couldn't remember what the dress looked like (and didn't have a picture...) so I called to see what I could do. They did offer to have me come and try it back on if I could get there quickly because it was the end of the day. We started driving back but I knew that if I went in and inconvenienced them I would feel pressured to buy the dress even if I didn't want it (that's just my personality, they are too sweet and would not have pressured me). So I figured I would chalk it up to a lost opportunity to save money from the deal they were offering and went home to San Antonio. Here's why they're no-photo policy sucks. I'm a hundred percent sure that if I had had a photo of myself I'm that dress I would have come back and bought it. Because I found it online with the help of my maid of honor that has a freakishly photographic memory (and it was a Stella York!) And every time I look at it I get really excited. Fortunately I called a local place and they have it for the same sale price so I will more than likely be buying it locally. I wish it would have worked out because they really did help me find my dream dress but that no-photo policy prevented me from getting it from them. But overall, great business! Sweet and knowledgeable consultants too. You just have to either live locally or be more decisive than me :)
