Pico Propane clearly has replaced customer care to "We need revenue only" More than 10 years ago we built an outdoor kitchen that we use (especially) during this great season in SoFlo. Forever propane installed a 100 lb. tank connected to our outdoor kitchen. Every year when the tank is less than 20 lbs. I have had it filled, Pico filled it last year. This year I called and was told it doesn't pay well enough to send a truck to fill the tank, BUT I could upgrade it to a 200 lbs. tank and then I could be serviced (Along with the associated cost of replacing my current tank and changing the pad). Awesome! GREAT! I feel like I am dealing with an insurance company. Make changes to increase revenue, impact to customer doesn't mean anything. Very disappointed. read more

Pico Propane installed a new propane tank for us. Derek and Bobby communicated with us throughout every step of the installation. They were prompt and texted me that they were on the way! Ours is not an easy terrain and the installation is attractive and easily accelerated and completed same day. Tori in the office answers the phone and provides excellent customer service. She was always was happy to answer every question I had or get back with me quickly with an accurate answer. I never had to leave a message on a voicemail which was refreshing. This place is horrible. I have not had gas since before Thanksgiving. We keep getting no call no shows and no one wants to take ownership. We are going to go with another company even if it cost more because we can't go months without gas due to Forever Propane's lack of any accountability. They are receiving a 1 as that is the lowest score, we can rate them. We had to give away our uncooked Thanksgiving meal and go to the Cracker Barrel and we refuse to do the same for Christmas. Whoa!!! Whatever happened since my last Four Star review of Forever Propane in 2013? Their garage and shop yard is more cluttered than ever and they have a new office but with the most rude, surly, unhelpful clerk I've ever encountered. I had previously done a lot of business with Forever Propane though none within the last 5 years so I was really shocked by what I encountered. I merely went there to purchase a fiberglass composite propane tank as it was to be used in a saltwater environment aboard a boat. After a round or two of verbal unpleasantries it turns out they no longer handle aluminum or fiberglass and didn't have any interest in ordering or assisting me in obtaining one. Hence, I scooted off as fast as I could go to Boye's Gas Service where I was treated politely and within minutes had my new fiberglass propane tank, all the while vowing never to return to Forever Propane again. read more

I would've given ZERO if that were possible. Cuz after all, NO-SHOW, no phone call, no follow-up whatsoever for an app't scheduled over the phone seems to add up to: ZERO. I am disappointed that my previous propane company, Boye's Gas, was bought out by Forever Propane. Boye's had excellent ratings here, but look at those for Forever Propane and go figure! I had scheduled an app't for a leak test on my propane line a week in advance. Was given a service call window of 8am to 4pm. HUH? Can't do better than that? Even worse, I sat around my house ALLLLLL DAY waiting for the service call that never happened. I called 3 times that day. First time I was reminded that the window was 8am to 4pm; second and third time I was routed to voice mail with no return call. I called at 3:45 to remind them that like Cinderella, the clock was ticking, and we had 15 min to get someone over here. Result? NO SHOW. NO PHONE CALL. NO FOLLOW UP the next day. So now I'm prompted to tell it like is here, so others can make an informed choice. I called a different propane service today, spoke with the owner, and have a tech lined up for tomorrow. Beware of big, incompetent fish eating smaller, highly-rated guppy in the propane business. Lots of that going on these days, and as consumers, we get fewer choices. I'm hoping the company I have lined up to come this week is my new "forever" propane service company. read more

Had trouble with Forever multiple times over the years they as they would forget us on their route but they always worked to resolve. Called Pico and new person-Porsha had all our account history, address , delivery information but when I asked for a fill she wanted photos of the meter (unusual). claimed the tank was not on a slab (not true). Claimed orange foam sealer in the sleeve for the line not to code. I verified with Broward County code enforcement that an above ground tank this small is not subject any specific codes other than distance from a window or door. After finding this out she made up more excuses that it had to be either white or gray and was not code compliant. I was finished with her. Obviously looking for any excuse not to provide service. I found a wonderful new provider (Blossman) immediately who has already come to inspect and fill my tank in less than 24 hours. Clearly Pico is just trying to shake people down to spend more money. I DO NOT recommend. take your business somewhere else. They have no sense of customer service. they obviously paid for the business and had all of our existing data, you would think they would want to retain the customer. read more

I never write any reviews but wow What a horrible company. Imagine waiting 2 weeks for a basic tank refill. They don't give you an ETA, just show up to your home and expect you to drop everything and be there for them, or else, you're screwed and they won't service you. This company Has been either bought out or change names twice & consistently has sent my invoices three weeks later than they are dated. The first communication I received was from a company I had never heard of and it was a late notice. The second invoice I received was three weeks later than it was dated. I finally took the time to look at how much they were charging me for gas and called around and found other companies were half as much. I went to cancel the service via email and they never answered my email so I had to call and they said they would cancel the service once payment was received (it had already been sent but not received). I asked them if they would cancel the service after the payment was received and let me know and they told me I would have to call to follow up. read more

We contracted with the Chris Rosado Forever Propane that was later purchased by the current company that kept the same D/B/A name. An employee named Nicole said they had no record of my contract with the old company so I sent her the invoice, which covers all the gas requirements for my new construction package. The old company demanded payment in advance for most of the job up front with the remainder due after final inspection. Nicole thanked me and assured me that they would complete the project as per the invoice. Later they started billing me for the work as it was done as if there was no package and as if I hadn't paid up front for most of it. They denied receiving my payments of about 75% up front and even after I provided proof they said I still had to pay again for every task they had to perform for the job. I reminded Nicole but she won't return calls and I went to their offices and sent emails and phone calls to someone named Sintra but they never got back to me with my request for a final bill for the remainder of the contract. They just kept sending bills as if I had no new construction package deal. And then yesterday I get a call from a collection agency! I have a credit score of over 800 and no debt besides a mortgage and this is the answer I get to my request to pay the correct balance. And yeah , Nicole still won't answer my call. One last lovely detail- it took over four months of begging and pleading to get them to provide a Change of Contractor form correctly completed and yet they are including finance charges. Very hard to get service. Signed up Dec 2020 when an associate came into our place of business to sell their svc. Very Friendly, cheaper than our other svc however since 2020 we are not able to get svc without me calling several times & having to go fill tanks ourselves or borrow from neighbor business. Every time I phone they are very polite (1st rep who no longer there was not so much) they will put me on schedule. Every call they are putting me on a schedule. I signed up on a schedule delivery. Excuses every time. The other scheduler is no longer there, we changed our system, the driver decides how often you should be receiving. I do not care if it is 1 tank I am on a schedule. Ok I will add you to schedule. Every time same thing. I cancelled svc 2X. Their customers do not seem to matter read more

UPDATE (4/19/18): I'm updating this review (from a 1 to a 3), because I did receive a call from the company about 4-6 weeks after this was posted. They apologized and told me the driver took it upon himself to do this, that they had not asked me him to. They were apologetic. I did not receive a sense, however, of any disciplinary action on the driver's behalf. If he broke company policy/protocol, there should be a consequence. I did much appreciate the apology, however. I will return to business with them on a trial basis for now. In the end, the below shouldn't have happened. I feel confident that my voice has been heard and that steps will be taken to ensure this doesn't happen again. Most unprofessional company I have ever worked with in my life!!! They filled our tanks on 10/11/17, and we had fraudulent activity on our credit card, so I had to have a new card issued. I called the same day and gave them the new credit card info. They said thank you and that it would be billed. I didn't see the charge the next week, and called them after the technician left a bill saying we had an outstanding balance. The company said we didn't and to ignore it. We got another note on 11/7/18 saying we owed an $18 balance. I called from work on 11/8/18 and gave my credit card information. They said thank you and charged my card (the bill showed the next day). We received yet ANOTHER notice on our door on Dec. 13. I called the company and they said it must have been a mistake. Then on Jan. 24, they left a note saying I owed $18 and had a post-it note attached that said "NEXT CALL WILL BE TO POLICE!" When I called the receptionist, I remembered her voice and she said they had no record of the payment. I screen shot the payment info. and emailed it in. Never received so much as an "I'm sorry," or any type of apology! They acted like complete jerks when the issue was their OWN mistake! Extremely unprofessional and uncalled for! We are going with Amerigas, and I'm encouraging all of our neighbors to do the same. I have reported the issue to our front office so they can know. Maybe if they lose some revenue, they'll start being conscientious and treating their customers with respect! read more

This is the best company for Propane and anything else you could need. Pool supplies, dumpster services, shirts, grills with all the accessories. They're open late & on Saturday. They have 3 fill stations, and are the only ones open delivering gas until 2am during the hurricane for 3weeks. They helped my family a lot. They repair hoses, have service techs for pool & patio heaters, they have snacks & lotto & you always see the same people & speak with a live person. They truly care about their customers! This place doesn't deserve the one star, but I don't think it's possible to choose none, or negative stars. The owner Chris, lied to my face multiple times regarding service charges. I had multiple parts under warranty on my pool heater, after 3 service charges to repair the same work, I spoke with them over the phone 2 times and he said he would wave the fee. He forgot he says, 6 months later I get a bill with penalties. His excuse, "I speak with a lot of customers". This is all on top of the fact that they first filled my propane tank for $650 on a system that didn't work (just bought the house I didn't know). 4 services later, 3 lies from the owner, oh and it took him 3 weeks to call me back each time, that's only because I called every day. i would give this company a negative review if i could. I called them either right before or right after Hurricane Irma to test my gas tank. I had to pay for this check even though they didn't have gas to sell me at the time - fine - I was desperate. After Irma we called and called to see when they would get gas - but the port was closed for awhile - ok - not their fault. Then the port opened and they still didn't have gas. We called around and found Dolphin (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOLPHIN GAS) and they agreed to deliver gas. Right away we called Forever Propane and cancelled our gas order. So did our neighbor who was their customer for years. We were home for days after we got gas and we never saw Forever Propane on our street. No truck. No knock on the door - no nothing - for my neighbor and myself. We KNOW they didn't come. We had canceled the order so we didn't expect them to come. About a month later we get a huge bill saying they delivered gas. NOT POSSIBLE. WE WERE HOME. OUR GAS TANK WAS "FULL" (80%) (no room for more gas. I called every time I got a bill to dispute it. I asked for the manager Jaime - she NEVER would get on the phone! I can't remember who I spoke to until January when I started documenting this. I spoke to Linda on 1/9/18, 2/8/18, 6/18 and 8/8. She agreed that there was no actual documentation stating that they actually delivered gas. She always says that Jaime is out and can't talk to me. THIS AND I ACTUALLY GAVE THEM THE COURTESY OF CANCELLING THE GAS - AND I'M NOT EVEN A CUSTOMER - THEY HAVE NEVER SOLD ME GAS AND THEY WANT TO SEND ME TO COLLECTION!!!!! I came in this morning to fill 4 tanks. It took about 10 minutes. He hook up 2 tanks at a time and help put in the truck for me. Nice to know that if women ever goes here, they would appreciate the help, knowing than propane tanks can be heavy. Tipping is my way of showing appreciation . Every time I call the office, make an appointment with the girls in the office, I wait around all day for the driver to show up, he doesn't. I call the office and ask why, they apologize and blame it on the driver, when the driver finally show's up, on a day I did not expect him, he says he never got the order for the date I set the appointment up for.
