Grill Tanks Plus charged me a service call and deep cleaning totaling $619.99. They cam out and cleaned the grill to satisfaction. However, they did not get the grill up and running and sent me a quote for another $259.99 for a return visit, $499.96 for parts and $229.99 to install them totaling over $1000. I called someone else who came out and found that the grill did not need any parts and he fired up the grill in less than 10 minutes and his service call was less than $150! Their strong arm tactics in trying to get an annual contract were not appreciated either. Timely, friendly, and experts in their craft. Last year they refurbished my Green Egg. Cooked my first ever brisket last week with ease. It held the temperature precisely and everyone was happy with a meat that can be challenging to cook. Today we updated our Weber grill. It looks brand new. Very happy with the care and the results! You save 3% if you pay with cash or check. Well worth getting the ink pen out. It was an incredible transformation from a very greasy/dirty Weber Gas Grill to spotlessly clean and functioning .. The tech who came out to do our annual cleaning (sorry, I forgot his name) found several holes in the firebox which could have been quite dangerous. I communicated with Chris (Tech Supervisor) and Mike (Sales). Both indulged my questions and were very helpful to my decision on what my best replacement options were. I've been thinking about purchasing an outdoor kitchen and went into Grill Tanks Plus on Atlantic Ave. in Delray. They have a large selection of grills and slide-ins with cabinets. I spoke with Michael, who explained I could also have cabinets built with my choice of materials. They also offer Grill cleaning. Before rolling mine to the curb, I decided to see what they could do to mine. I left the grill on my patio and when I got home it looked like a new grill had been left in its place. They dragged their feet in getting the sod and my lawn company saw the area becoming worse as over a month had passed. My lawn person took care of the issue. This place purchased a decent company "Lee's Bar-b-que_ and is a total rip off. What they really want is for you to purchase a maintenance plan. I had a faulty electric starter, and they came here in November to repair, and advised they changed the started, although I never saw the old part. By April, it no longer worked, so I called, believing they would come back and check it. They charged me another "reduced" service charge, and the repair person, pocket cash to replace a part, and by the Friday before Mother's Day, it was no longer operating. By now, I have spent over $600, and now, when I advised it was no longer working, they want to charge me for another service call. Further, they want me to purchase a "service plan"...well, if they don't know how to service, why would someone use them. CAUTION HERE!! read more

When I scheduled my cleaning with Lisa I explained that my entire property was just power washed. I asked if the barbecue cleaning would create a mess. She assured me that there would be evidence that they were ever there and the service technicians would use a tarp. When the technicians arrived they dragged the barbecue onto the landscape rock path on the side of my house. After the technicians left I walked to the side of the house and found a large amount of grease (chunks and liquid) dumped on my landscape rocks and stone stepping stones. After reviewing my cameras, I saw that a tarp was never used. This cleaning cost $250 and honestly not worth it after seeing the final product. I sent an e-mail to Lisa to make her aware and she has not responded to my e-mail (I did receive an e-mail from google stating that it was read). There are a lot of choices out there, I would find another company to do this simple task. I've already some that are far cheaper with better reviews. Wow Wow Wow. I have always bought and serviced my grills from Lee's in Boca - but I am a Grill Tanks Plus customer for life after this experience. Eating more at home since Corona, I've grilled nonstop for weeks - fish, chicken, steaks, you name it. So when my 3ish year old weber genesis started looking grimy -- rusting, gross drip tray with who knows what growing out of it, and lots of grease ash and stuff in the cook box, I decided I needed a professional cleaning. After looking around, I found Grill Tanks Plus on yelp and explored their website. I got in touch with Eddie who made the whole process easy. I got a no BS quote up front for the cleaning that was very reasonable and all inclusive -- 2 guys for 2 hours on site + materials (and not too much more than if I had chosen to replace all of the grates and bars and still not have a clean grill). I got a text and email reminder the night before service. And after the service, I had a quote emailed to me that I could pay online. As for the service. Mike was on time, called when he was 20 minutes out, and in this COVID-19 world, he had a mask on and stayed 6 feet away, never entering my home. He and his partner took care to move the grill to an area of the grass away from my home for cleaning that wouldn't leave a mess. They spent 2 hours breaking down, deep cleaning, re-assembling, and testing my entire grill. Not only was it sparkling clean, the rust was gone, and the grates looked brand new. In addition, they did a tank exchange for my spare gas tank, replaced my drip tray, and re-aligned my flame height and gas flow. I'm never one to sign up for service plans, but after this, the service plan upcharge was the cost of 2 more tank exchanges. So for the same money I would spend hauling dirty, heavy, and dangerous cylinders to the store, Grill Tanks Plus will come and deliver 2 to of them to me this year, and cover service calls if I need them. My only regret is not having a good before / after picture as you might not believe it was the same grill. These guys rock, and I highly recommend them. Go get your grill cleaned! read more

I had a problem removing the propane tank from my Weber Genesis 2 . I called them they said that they would be at my house within 2 days. They came the next day. Josh and Cody quickly replaced the empty propane tank with one filled up. I didn't have to lift a finger. They're very professional and friendly. Great service and great price. I won't try another company they were that good. They also have a service that cleans and disassembles the bbq grill for $175 to make it look like it's brand new. Stellar !!! read more

Called them out last year to fix a Napoleon grille that wasn't getting hot enough. They recommended changing the manifold and regulator. $700 dollars later and still didn't work correctly. Constantly pushes their service plan and charges a convenience charge of $21.99 for credit cards. Lee's bbq came out today and found the problem in 15 minutes and now it works great again. Total ripoff. Called them to clean my grill. Told them I needed a part. They said they would bring it. They sent two guys to clean my grill charged me $299. There are screws left on my counter. I have used GTP since 2012 these guys are very professional, the tanks they bring are filled to weight which believe it or not is rare. The owner Paul is great, he's very knowledgeable and gives great advice on how to maintain my grill. They also offer pressure cleaning, I have them do my fence and driveway when needed.
