Well, the day comes, it's 9:10 and there's no one here. I contact them they tell me to stand by they will check with the technician. They get back to me and say that the technician has car trouble and he can't make it. WTF. Don't they know where their employees are? Do they not know he is running late, or that he is not going to show? Why not call the customer and give them an update? Sounds like this company is very poorly run. I guess the owner really doesn't care about their customers. Very disappointing. I left a comment on their FB page and they quickly removed it and blocked the post from accepting comments. I wonder if anything will happen to the employee who just doesn't give a shit about their business.

I also explained that we just bought the home with the existing outdoor kitchen and wanted all equipment checked to see whether we need other repairs or replacement of additional appliances. I called the business today to request that the exhaust be cleaned and checked. The gentleman I spoke to said they don't service exhaust hoods. He said he'd already told me that. He did not! I also explained that the back of the bbq hood wasn't cleaned. He stated that I opted for a "less thorough cleaning package." I did not ask for a partial cleaning. He never gave me options and started off the phone call in a defensive and nasty attitude. He also told me he has no record of what was done here. That will have to wait until the tech comes back to work. This company is not transparent with pricing options. They get nasty and defensive when you ask questions. There are many BBQ repair, install, and replace companies in S FL. Try any business but them.

What I value most is that I can depend on him and fully trust him to handle projects properly, especially since I manage the property remotely. It's difficult to find someone with that combination of skill, reliability, and trustworthiness.

I hired this handyman to repair a closet shelving system that had pulled away from the wall which…read morewas being used for ordinary clothing storage and was not overloaded beyond normal household use. He assured me that the repair, including the anchors he installed, would support the weight of the clothing and items normally stored in the closet. Unfortunately, only about a week after the repair was completed, the entire system failed again and collapsed. The shelving and clothing ended up on the floor, creating a significant mess and forcing us to empty the closet once more. When I contacted him, he stated that the anchors he installed had held and that the real issue was that I needed an entirely new closet system. However, this was not what I was told when the repair was performed. Had I been advised from the outset that the existing system could not be safely supported or that a replacement was necessary, I would have appreciated that honesty and made a different decision. What is most disappointing is that despite the repair failing after only a week, he refused to return and evaluate the situation without charging an additional service fee. I understand that not every repair is guaranteed forever. However, when a repair fails within days and the customer relied on the handyman's representation that it would support the intended load, I believe standing behind the work and at least reassessing the situation is reasonable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. **UPDATE: With respect to Mike's response, many of the implications are categorically false, namely, that what is remaining of my closet is still usable and "hanging". The anchors screws, and brackets have bent and are misshaped. He also indicated fixed my toilet for "free" when, in fact, he actually exacerbated the issue and spent no more than a minute looking at the toilet and twisting the float and fill valve. So the contention that he was being generous with his time is unfounded. With respect to the text messages he's alluding to, admittedly, he did indicate he did not warranty his work, but also claimed "I'll also say this, I've never hung any shelving in somebody's called me back later and said that it came down". Moreover, "I can tell you that it's gonna go in with anchors at hold 220 pounds each and there's probably gonna be three or four so outside of that hopefully it lasts a long time". That said, given the estimated weight of the closet was no more than 150 pounds, that was less than 35% of its intended total weight, which should've held it without incident. Moreover, it's only been one week as opposed to two since he performed the job Finally, the mere fact that he wouldn't return to audit the job or two provide structured guidance and repair onsite as a gesture of Goodwill is woefully inadequate.

He called first to say he was twenty minutes away. When he arrived, my husband showed him the dryer and explained the problem. Mike thought it might be a heat sensor problem. Mike put us on his schedule for the next morning, with a 2 hr arrival window. The next morning, (on time!), Mike called to make sure we were home and advised he was on the way. Within 5 minutes of his arrival and testing components inside the back panel, Mike showed me where the heat sensor was inoperable. After placing a new (Warranted) heat sensor and testing that the dryer was once again heating, Mike checked the ventilation inside the wall, leading to the roof, and was able to remove some lint obstruction. Everything sealed and back in place, Mike checked again and had me check inside the dryer to make sure I was satisfied with his repair. Total on site time for this repair, 18 minutes! Very reasonable charges and fast friendly service! Saving Mike's business card! MIKE CHECK ( 1.2.3) ... 5 Star experience!
