Horrible service. If I could give no stars I would. Before dropping off my items the delivery guy calls me and tells me that he had to open my package because it didnt fit in his bag, so now there are multiple boxes. He says he would take a picture of where he left the boxes and send it to me. I never got the pictures. The package then said "delivered". Nothing was delivered. Ive been living in this building for 9 years and never had an issue with any of my deliveries. I call customer serivce and they keep brushing me off saying theres nothing that can be done because it was "delivered". I expain to them that the guy opened my package and I never recived a picture. After 2 calls someone finally tells me that they have a POSTMATES person making these deliveries. No wonder the guy told me my package didnt fit in his bag. Any stranger can sign up and do postmates. I spoke to the manager who was very rude and kept arguing with me on the phone. She would always say "ill give you a call back later today" never got a call. This has happened for a whole month of my constant calling to settle this issue. Ridiculous and unproffesional. They made no effort in helping me at all with my issue. Instead they brushed me off with "ill give you a call later". No call was ever made to me and I have a missing package. Dont waste your time. They dont care about their customers. read more

My aunt had some furniture to give us after downsizing. It had to all be out of her house by today but it was raining and my husband was working, and the situation was becoming a huge hassle. I got the pick up now app, asked for instant delivery, and within an hour I had the two heavy items delivered to my garage and unloaded. I got text notifications every step of the way so I always knew what was going on. My delivery guy was named Drew, and he was super nice, super quick and I felt secure with him being in my garage -it is really important for people to feel safe when dealing with people we haven't met before. The price was really reasonable and it definitely solved a major problem for me today. Pick Up Now is an amazing service. read more

Love how the company works! Delivered my couch in a very timely and professional manner. Highly recommend them!

If I could give this company a double zero I would. I never, ever write bad reviews but when an 11 year old child looks the company up online and asks me to write a review... I tend to listen. I ordered furniture and the delivery guy complained the entire. Notice to company: Hire people who are physically in shape and able to perform the job. I returned furniture and will purchase furniture through a company who has their own furniture delivery. read more

One day delivery with large purchase of furniture. They game me a time frame of 9a-9p. After sitting at home till 2pm and removing all of my living room furniture I received a text message saying i would need to reschedule the delivery. So I ordered a sofa and loveseat set from big lots online and they offered delivery from pickup so I thought sure why not. After getting all set up with a delivery date it was rescheduled due to unforseen delays, this happened 4 more times. The 5th time I was informed they do not do delivery in our area. This could of been avoided had they either told me that up front or didn't have this as an option in an area they don't serve. Very frustrating and disappointing. read more

Pickup has a policy in which if a customer asks for assembly after drop off, they cant say no. As the next customer in line, this meant that I had to wait longer for someone to help me with my pickup/ delivery. I had a 2-3 pm pickup window and the guy didn't show up until 4:45. The management company was very hard to reach with wait times consistently at 10+ minutes when I had to call many times to figure out an ETA of the pickup guy. It also doesn't state anywhere that you pass up on insurance of your item if you only hire one guy versus 2 guys, but thankfully nothing happened to my item in transit. read more

I paid for same day delivery on 12/30/20. My delivery was changed three times I chatted in twice to check the status on the third time I requested to be called by a supervisor. Because at this point I wanted my $95 same day charge refunded but of course I still expect the delivery. Instead of receiving a call from a higher up my order was canceled, when I called upset this morning I spoke with Isabella who stated that's what I requested and that I spoke with a supervisor. I was never advised that I was speaking with a supervisor and then she disconnected when I requested to be transferred what a joke. abousolutely terrible service .. is not the first time that this company delivered the wrong items to me. they charged me 7.13 to deliver the wrong items which initally costs 9.90. all they have to do it check the receipt to the items in bag. but seems like they do not even think of that. i have always given a tip. for what i am still struggling read more

The delivery service was supposed to deliver up a large dining table and big cabinet between 3-5pm. They showed up at the furniture company at 5:45pm with a very small truck. They were told it wouldn't fit and just left. I continued to text the driver to find out if they were sending someone else and at 6:30pm received a call that they couldn't come now for 3 days. Would NEVER recommend this company. read more

Absolutely the worst delivery service! If I could give zero stars I would! I had ordered baby furniture which was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, I received a call from the company Monday afternoon that the delivery team that was supposed to deliver my furniture had a family emergency and the delivery needed to be rescheduled. My delivery was rescheduled for today, and I received yet another call and this time was told that there are no delivery teams in my area available to make the delivery today. The delivery is now pushed back until next Tuesday but the girl on the phone said she couldn't guarantee it will delivered then either because the delivery drivers pick and choose what deliveries they complete. I explained to the girl on the phone that I am due to give birth in a little over 6 weeks and I can't keep waiting for my furniture as I still need to set up the nursery and they are holding me up. Her response was that there was nothing she could do about it, and she didn't really seem to care. My fiance and I now have to drive an hour to and from the store, and pick up the furniture ourselves so we can actually have the furniture and nursery set up before the baby is born. This is the most backwards and poorly run delivery service I ever had to deal with and will never use them again or recommend them. read more

My only option is one star, and I wouldn't even give that. I placed an order which held a fee of $95 for delivery. It was to be delivered on 11/29. Someone from The Pick Up team called me to confirm my delivery was on schedule to come that very day. Around 3:30, another person called me, apologizing for the fact that they were unable to get the delivery completed that day. I get it, things happen. They gave me a new delivery date of today. 11/29 between 11-3pm. Again, I took time to stay at home waiting for the delivery. Come 4:30, no delivery and no phone call from anyone stating there was a delay. Finally I called the customer service number, waited on hold for 30 minutes, only to be hung up on as soon as I was connected with a representative. I called back, was finally connected, and was ASSURED my delivery would be completed today. It is now almost 7pm, and just received an email thanking me for my new delivery date and time of 12/1 between 11-3pm when i am unable to be home for a 3rd day in a row. The service is awful, with no follow through on commitments. Waste of money, and a completely incompetent company. Update: Sydney, the rep, was as helpful as she could be. Tried to connect me with her supervisor, Steven. Steven was "unavailable" to speak with me, but was able to communicate to her how he would like the matter to be handled, conveniently, stating that the delivery was unavailable today leaving the soonest date to be 12/1. Sydney stated to me, that Steven would be calling me back, at my request, to discuss the issue as I now will have to take a 3rd day off from work to attempt to complete this delivery. read more

Communication was great. Delivered in the window of time I requested. Polite during our conversations on the phone. Should be a 5 star review, however the delivery guy was NOT wearing a mask! I ordered a sofa and Pickup Now was the third party delivery service the place I ordered from went through. I paid extra for same day delivery. I was told that Pickup Now was experiencing delays on the day they were supposed to deliver my item and it would be later in the day that it would be delivered. After that delivery time passed without any updates, I was told they had to reschedule for two days later. They told me they could deliver it to me between 12-2pm two days after what the initial delivery date was. I reluctantly agreed. Today is the day they were supposed to deliver it but hours after 2pm, I was wondering why my item had not been delivered yet. I called the company and was told that they had no availability and could not deliver it today. Why would they reschedule my delivery of today if they did not have availability today? The lady on the phone was very unhelpful and said that we would have to reschedule for Tuesday but it wouldn't be a guarantee that I would receive my item that day either. Please get my delivery to me Tuesday!!! I paid quIte bit of money for same day delivery, and Tuesday will be about a week since placing my order. I NEED MY DELIVERY TUESDAY! read more

We have used so many different pickup / quick delivery type companies in the past with mixed reactions. So when the furniture company Nadeau we had just bought items from gave us their card we were a little anxious to try them out. But we did and couldn't be happier! The 2 guys that were sent to our pickups (we had 5 pickups total in the same day - hefty BIG things too!) did a beautiful job of mapping out the timeline and coming to the final stop with all the items in tow, no issues, nothing broken or scratched. I will for sure use them in a pinch when I need something moved quickly! Great response time too. read more

You guys are absolute TRASH. We've been waiting 2 days now for our item to be delivered on the first day, when it's supposed to be same day delivery! No communication whatsoever. I ordered a delivery for a couch between 11am and 1pm. 2:30 came and went and I had received no information about my order. Worst company I have ever dealt with, payed for same day delivery and they didn't deliver my mattress and when I finally got a hold of someone I was told it would be a waste of gas for them to come and deliver my mattress. So what was the fee for same day delivery used for? It is now Sunday and my mattress still has not come and it's past the time slot they told me and I have yet to get back in touch with anyone after being on a queue and calling several times and staying on hold. They have done nothing but give me the runaround and have not done anything to help me out. I can't even believe that such an unprofessional company has clients. I would definitely recommend everyone to go with a different moving company and good luck getting a hold of anyone to help you out. I wish I could give -5 stars completely dissatisfied. read more

My favorite furniture store opened up a outlet warehouse and I went there, found an item I've been eying on their site for quite sometime and the prospect of buying for a huge discount was great... your company had reps at the store and made it look like it was quite easy and you were the Uber co. Of furniture delivery... the amount I paid for the service was more than a white glove delivery... first the chat bubble on the website, the people that answer gives only vague answers and keep referring to the time slot for the delivery even though I'm assuming, they already know it would be late... a delivery that was supposed to happen in the morning took literately, the whole day... they didn't show up until evening time... I think they over promised and they don't have enough people to pick up and deliver.. they were promoted at the site as their prefer pick up and delivery but I think they over promised and didn't take in consideration the amount of orders and calculated their capacity to meet the time's slots. I won't use them again. Paid $$$ for a lousy service. read more

Awesome! Exactly what I needed, when I needed it -- I bought a new sofa at a consignment store and thought about getting it into my minivan, but that seemed ill-advised! The employees at the store handed me a card they said was from a new company working in town here, Pickup, basically the Uber of picking things up and getting them to your house, intant-gratification-style. I got a call within minutes from a driver letting me know he could be at the store within about 5 minutes -- I was still there paying for it, so I just waited and he loaded it into his truck, and drove straight back to my place, he and I carried the sofa inside, and the entire thing happened in under an hour start to finish, for an incredibly reasonable rate! Wonderful service. read more

DO NOT COUNT ON THIS COMPANY. I run a medium sized internet business in Detroit. When I heard about this concept I decided to try it myself before looking into their services for my company and customers. I scheduled a move of a small treadmill from my father-in law's house to my house a mile away. Everything went smoothly, they scheduled and took a payment. I went ahead and made arrangements for my 90 year old father in law to make sure he was up and available and scheduled an installer to be at my house after the scheduled delivery. Then they cancelled the pick up the day before because they said they don't move treadmills. Here's the totally false claim on their site, "PICKUP's fully vetted team of Good Guys is standing by--ready to move furniture or move mountains. To meet and exceed customer expectations. Every PICKUP Good Guy is trained to deliver real-time problem solving and first-rate customer service." Good Guys? Not so much. Strong guys? Obviously not. Maybe strong enough to move a mountain, but not a little treadmill. Courteous? Positively the opposite. Meet customer expectations? Wrong. Don't be lulled to sleep by the quick email you get telling you you're all set. You are not all set. In fact, you are the opposite of all set, you are worse off than when you scheduled. My 16 year old can write a website that takes money easily, makes promises, and then doesn't deliver any of the services advertised. After navigating a 15 minute phone tree (that completely malfunctioned when calling from my iphone) and being transferred around the company, the agent could not have been more obnoxious. I should have checked these guys' reviews before I counted on them. Looks like they stink all over the place. I hope this saves at least one potential customer from being totally left out to dry. read more

Couch inspected from all angles while at store. It arrived with broken frame. The move was only a few miles. The couch was secured in the trailer with a tight strap and no padding. When the driver was shown the damage, he said he didn't know anything about that and that he just delivers things. He then took a picture of the uninjured side of the couch and left! I will never use them again for any type of move. read more

I'm writing to say that if you use this company for purchases made at Big Lots, you are better of going to the store and picking the items up yourself. I use them for this because of a back injury and recent surgery that prohibits heavy lifting. The first incidence was that I received the wrong items - 5 cases of the wrong type of bottled water. The second incidence was when I placed an order with Big Lots for delivery 3 days in ADVANCE when I knew I would be available. The time requested was for 9am-1pm. They never showed up - even when the dispatcher called me around 8pm and stated they would still be able to deliver my items. I called back around 10pm because of course - no delivery. At this time, I requested to cancel the order because I could see it wasn't' going to come. The crazy part is that the delivery guy called me around 12 noon....when I called him back around 3pm - he said they transferred the delivery to someone else and that driver was suppose to contact me. I never received any form of communication. I wish BigLots would choose another delivery service to work with because this company is not working for them and is impacting future sales. At this point, I need to find another store that can ensure my deliveries are made when requested and/or at least received on the same day it was requested. read more

I was offered this delivery service with a Pottery Barn purchase. They delivered 4 items the next day!! Very communicative throughout the process. The sleep sofa did not fit in the elevator of my building. The movers then tried to get it through a doorway to carry it up the stairs. They worked tirelessly to make it work. It was an extremely tight fit. They had wrapped the sofa before moving it to keep it protected. Overall, they had to turn it upright and get it through 5 narrow doorways. They also delivered and lay down a rug for me that I wanted perfectly placed in the room. They were very patient as I had them adjust the rug to my liking. They stayed late, had travelled far, and still remained good natured. They spent more time than other companies would have and the price was very reasonable!! I highly recommend!! read more

Cancelled last minute because they were overbooked. They told me they were unaware of a freight elevator reservation, however, I had to choose a time slot before I was able to confirm the delivery. The exact freight instructions were written in the notes section. The person on the phone told me "the booking window is only a rough estimate and they didn't know there was any freight reservation". Any service delivering to high rises downtown should be aware that we can't reserve a freight elevator all day. The store I purchased from is losing money because of this company. read more

This team was unreal. Even though it seemed impossible, these guys somehow teleported the couch I bought from an outlet store into my apartment where the door dimensions did not seem to allow delivery of the couch. Not only that, they did it without hurting my couch, my floors or any of the apartment fixtures. AND they quite literally carried it up six flights of stairs in a converted factory building. This was all after they tried for nearly an hour to negotiate the return of the couch to the original seller (a story for a different day). All told, they must have been at my house for over two and a half hours trying to get my couch in (the chair and ottoman took them about two seconds). I cannot recommend their services highly enough--and you can see from my previous reviews, if I think a service sucks, I write about it. I hope their bosses are reading this and giving them big fat raises, because they wouldn't even accept extra money from me for the blood sweat and tears. Kudos, bravo, and just....thanks for being awesome. read more

I'm happy to say that Pickup called me late Sunday night to apologize and offer to make it right! This delivery service is a hot mess. I ordered a recliner online from Big Lots for my mother, who had just had a hip replacement. I did not know they used this company as a third party delivery service. We paid $100 for "same day shipping" on a Thursday, with the expectation that it would be delivered on Friday. On Friday, the store had the item ready, but PICKUP informed us they had no drivers available. We considered canceling the order at that time, since she really needed it right away - however, a PICKUP rep assured us it could be delivered on Saturday, before 2pm. On Saturday, at 11:30am I called PICKUP again to confirm the delivery. They said it should still be there by 2pm and someone should call us back soon. Needless to say, no one did. I called again, and was informed that it was now an "all day window" and it "should" still be delivered before 9pm. At this point, I had absolutely no confidence I was being given correct information, but I decided we would wait. Then at 4pm, my mother got a text that they need to reschedule for a week in the future. You can imagine my rage. It is difficult to reach anyone at PICKUP (excessively long hold times) and no one I spoke to was helpful or honest. It seems that the call center has no ability to actually obtain any information about deliveries - they appear to exist only to provide a place for customers to complain. I am not surprised they have such long hold times if typical "same day shipping" takes 10 days. The store has the item waiting - they just can't send anyone to get it. I am not the only one with this issue - I called the store where we purchased the recliner and was told by a sales rep that they have this issue all the time with people needing to cancel orders due to problems with PICKUP. I am not even sure people can avoid using this company - it is a 3rd party that does deliveries for multiple vendors and the vendor website doesn't make it clear who you will be dealing with at the time of purchase. Either way, I would really recommend not working with this company if at all possible - you might as well just find a way to pick it up yourself unless you want to spend hours on hold being informed that they don't have any drivers available. THEN WHY ARE YOU SCHEDULING DELIVERIES??? read more

I used Pickup Instant Delivery to deliver a donation from my home to a donation center. I received impeccable service throughout the whole experience. The command center called me to get more details about my pickup and to arrange a pick-up time. When my driver arrived for pick-up, he called the donation center in advance to confirm which items they would and would not be willing to accept, and he helped to pick out the items they would not (e.g. pillows). He went above and beyond and was incredibly professional. I also received text messages confirming pickup and delivery. A++. read more
