Beware before you sign up for this company to pick up and deliver anything. Signed up online for one day then at the end of the day I get text that they are running behind and could they reschedule for tomorrow. Fine rescheduled no problem as long as they had it here by noon because I had a flight to catch in afternoon. No show, no call, no text so I called and the customer service representative said they have not even started their pick ups yet....1:45pm. Was left with no option but to call and return the 2000.00 of furniture I had bought and was waiting at the store for pick up. The store will only hold the purchased item for 3 days for pick up. Now that I am out of town I have no way to have it rescheduled with anyone for delivery. At this point I feel traumatized by the way this company operates and have lost all faith in them. My original delivery window was 8AM - 10PM. I received a text at 8:19AM that there would be a delay due to availability of Good Guys and I would be contacted with a new time. My items had to picked up from the store today or they would be returned even though I had already paid in full. When I had not heard from them by 12:30PM, I sent an email. They finally reached out to me by 1:15PM and I did receive my delivery before 3PM the guys were fast, friendly & professional. I'm only giving 3 stars because of the lack of communication. When a paid in for delivery is delayed it is poor customer service to reach out via text only that it's delayed and not give another ETA for delivery. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance so I'll try you guys again, hopefully, the communication will be better. read more

The fee was very expensive; however, due to the store's pick-up policy, I had no other option. I purchased midday and tried to book same day pick-up, but the slot that appeared for that afternoon would not allow me to click it, so I chose next day. About 30 min. before my scheduled delivery, the driver reached out to me to see if a later time slot was acceptable. I had already left work to be home for the originally scheduled time slot, and by the time the ask was made for a later drop off, I was already home. I could have run errands, etc. had the ask come in sooner. Although the communication prior to drop off could have been improved, the actual delivery experience was excellent. Because there were 2 oversized chairs, when I scheduled the pickup online I was told I was being charged for 2 delivery persons. I thought this was odd as the petite store clerk in the store managed to pick up and move the oversized chairs onto the flatbed with no assistance, so I thought it odd that I needed two to deliver them since there were no stairs involved in the delivery. Upon arrival, there was only one delivery person. He took great care in unloading the items, so he was top notch. read more

I scheduled my delivery one week in advance. 2 hours after the scheduled delivery time, they cancelled my delivery, only to reschedule 7 days later. I was actually proactive and called them in advance to confirm delivery. Their customer service was awful. read more

I bought a table at Homegoods and placed an order with PickUp for same day delivery. They weren't available until the next morning, but no big deal. I had a 6-10am window for delivery. 9:45am the next day and I still haven't heard anything, so I waited in the que to speak to PickUp agent. They confirmed I was still on schedule. Then I was contacted by the delivery driver, who said she was "on her way" and would be here around 11:30. 2:00- no word. I texted her for an update. No response. 3:00 I called her and my call was pushed straight to voicemail. Wait again in que to talk to PickUp agents. They said they were running behind schedule, but it was coming by 6pm. Continue waiting. You can see where this is going. No delivery. Wait again in que to speak to someone, who now said it wouldn't be until 2-6pm the next day. (With each delay, I have to call Homegoods and explain, as they said they'd only hold the item for 24 hours). The next morning, I again wait in the que for confirmation of delivery today. Confirmed. 15 minutes later, I missed a phone call from them. Wait 20+ minutes on hold while returning their call. They said they've misquoted me and actually need an additional $50 (despite we clearly said what our item was in our original quote). So I'm now 48 hours post purchase. MANY missed windows of delivery. I have absolutely no faith in this company to deliver, especially not for an additional $50. We are finding an alternate way to get the set home. I can't believe large chain stores are affiliated with this unprofessional company. Avoid! Rent a truck at Lowes for $20. read more

Got a discounted buffet table from World Market and needed immediate delivery. Dolly couldn't do until the next day for $126. Called these guys up. They quoted $98 for same day delivery with two guys working. It was quick and simple. Everybody from the customer service staff to the delivery guys were friendly and professional. No hidden costs or damages! I would definitely recommend. read more

The pickup pair that finally delivered my desk were very polite and efficient. I had asked for a pickup delivery on Saturday and was kept waiting for hours before I finally reached out and found out that they wanted me to reschedule for Monday. I should have been notified immediately if there was no one to deliver at the time I requested instead of wasting my whole day waiting to see if someone would come. read more

My "Good Guy" : Adam was fabulous, called when he was half an hour away, picked up, delivered and stayed in contact throughout. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that head office communication was not on point. Booked on a Friday I got an email confirmation but no job number or other identifier or details. When I reached out on Monday, I found out they had a couple questions for me etc. not a big deal and Alex was very helpful. But wonder what would have happened if I had not reached out? read more

Horrible service..waited for over 2days for my furniture from Big Lots. PICKUP kept canceling and rescheduling for days. Finally had to hire local company to make delivery after waiting for days. Do not hire online delivery from this company you will never get your furniture on timely manner read more

They do not take responsibility for timely deliveries, saying that they can't be held responsible for their drivers since they are "independent contractors". After 4 days of waiting for my "same-day delivery," I canceled my order at the store. read more

They sent a confirmation email before the pickup. They were to call on the way to the store at which time I would text the receipt so they could get my furniture. Time frame was 2-6 this past Saturday. I finally called them at 4:45 since the store closes at 6 pm. At first I was told she couldn't find my order. Finally she located the order and claimed I was sent a text at 3pm. Then I was told they sent a text at 4pm. I was transferred to some guy in "marketing" who claimed my telephone numbers must have been changed when Pickup put my order in the "system". He also claimed due to high demand they couldn't guarantee the delivery!!!! By now it is 5:30. He suggests he call the store and ask that they hold the furniture past their seven day cutoff. Never called me back!!! The legitimate reviews from real customers have the same complaint. I will have my money returned by my bank but what about the $800.00 I spent on my furniture? If I cannot resolve that with the store I will sue PickUp!!! read more

Horrible experience. Called and called and got the run around. Delivery was initially scheduled for the Wednesday before thanksgiving which they cancelled and rescheduled for the following Monday between 1200-0200. After several phone calls I finally received about 630PM. Terrible service. I would stay away from this company and save yourself lots of frustration! read more

Where should I start? I walked into Homesense to purchase some items and I came across an item that I wanted. Well, It was too heavy to carry and I needed professionals to pick up the Item and deliver it. Homesense recommended their 3rd party company. I paid for service which i thought included at least 3 guys that I requested. However, 2 guys came out and were unable to lift the item. Okay, PICKUP calls me and informs me that I need 4 guys (which I had initially asked for). No problem, they had to refund my money, about $185 which they said would take 3 to 5 days. I then had to pay for a new order off $288 to get 4 guys, instead of just adding on to cost of it. Then they call me back and say sorry we can't pick it up because its glass and its awkward shaped bar cabinet. Are you serious? So now this company doesn't move anything that is glass and awkward shaped because they don't want any liability if they break it? What are you in business for if you operate like this?! So then they said they had to cancel my order and this refund would also take 3 to 5 days. So now they have about $500 of my money in limbo and I'm trying to get my item delivered. So now I with come out the pocket more because of this. The homesense manager was nice about it and is allowing me more time to find a better company. If 3 or 4 guys that work for homesense can get the item on the floor, its no reason why a professional company should be incapable of doing it. I'm a truly disappointed in this 3rd party company for Homesense and homegoods. I am a valued customer and I never had to use a service here before, but I won't use them again. If this item is in the rest of their stores across the U.S., they need to let homegoods and homesense know to not recommend PICKUP to companies because they will refuse to deliver it. If you have any glass items, forget about it, they will make an excuse about "not wanting to break it". The company that delivered the item to the store in the first place obviously had great workers. Accidents happen, but don't expect the worst, especially when you are in business. read more

Would literally give 0 stars if I could. Worst service ever. I got confirmation of my pickup/drop off for a next day delivery, but could not get any other details on the day. No email/text saying that I had movers assigned or on the way. Waited for hours and contacted customer service while waiting. Customer service rep told me that I didn't have to "sit around and wait all day" even though I realistically have to, for the people to arrive??? Super rude. Additionally said there were no delays and someone should be assigned soon, however, I received an automated text saying there were delays. Do not book. If you're looking for same day delivery to move larger items from place to place, or trying to get items home from a furniture store, I highly recommend THE DOLLY. Only reason I didn't choose them firs this time was because they ended up being more expensive for the day, but I regret it now and should've just gone with a company I've already tried, because this company just wasted my time. Trust the low Yelp reviews of Pickupnow because it'll save you your time and money. read more

Really poor service. We purchased a chair and couch from Big Lots and had them delivered. The driver called at 2:20 PM to say they were on the way (the store is 20 minutes away), and they didn't arrive until almost 6:00 PM. Our chair was loaded in the truck on top of the couch in a way that crushed the couch cushions. The delivery men unboxed the chair on the front lawn and dropped the front corner hard onto the grass. I'm really surprised it didn't get a grass stain. Then, while carrying the couch, one of the men tripped over a decorative light and fell backwards onto our porch, breaking the light and dropping the couch on top of himself and the concrete. This was all due to rushing - they were moving so fast they were acting almost manic. They banged and scraped both pieces multiple times in the entry way and shoved the door open against 2 house plants. Then, as soon as they set the couch down, they left. I asked about attaching the feet to the couch and one of the men said, "They're in there. Just screw then on." They left the empty cardboard box in the middle of the lawn. I looked the couch and chair over really well and was really surprised there was no damage, considering how roughly they handled everything. I do NOT recommend this delivery service if you care about protecting your expensive purchases!! read more

My experience with them was just horrible, I never got treated like this by any company. I had a pickup scheduled for Sunday 12/1/19 from a furniture store to my new apartment. I ordered it 5 days in advance to the matching window time of the store. The same day I confirmed again with them and they promised me that everything will be arranged on time. When the timeframe came and no one called me for the pickup, I called them to check that everything is alright and they said that they still have plenty time for the window timeframe to close and I shouldn't be worried. When the time was almost over, I called again and said that it seems like there's a delay but everything will come in order... After an hour I called again and they said that no one too my order so they had to cancel me! They didn't call me to let me know and they put me in a very bad situation since that was my only time I could've pick it up from the store... I asked a few times to speak to a supervisor, but they were always telling me that someone will call me back, which never happened. This was a pickup from New Jersey to Brooklyn in New York. This is the best example of a company that can't be reliable and will not even try to find a solution, let apart apologize. I can't describe the amount of frustration that they gave me, but at least I want yo share this horrible experience with readers. read more

If I could give it 0, negative infinity stars I would! Surprised that this company is even in business! Bought furniture and the store informed me that PICKUP NOW is a third party company on their behalf for delivery. Was on hold for 45 minutes to an hour multiple times, then the phone would hang up, hold message said to go on the website, went on website to type in information, website could not generate a reservation and instructed to call the number, the number said go on the website, arghhhhhhh!!!!! Could not get anyone to respond to messages on thier chat/emails. Doesn't allow you to speak to a live person unless you are modifying your reservation. The store told me I had 3 days to pick up my furniture. Had to make other arrangements and make the drive to pick it up myself. I still haven't received a response to my inquiry. I finally called the number and got a live person with the modify reservation option and told the person I have been trying to make a reservation but no response. You know what she told me, (lolololololol, not really funny, but I can laugh now) she told me that she does not handle reservations and that I would have to go online and make a reservation. I repeated and told her that the system is not allowing me to make a reservation and no one has responded to me in the chat or email. No solution was provided. What a crap company!!!!!!!!!! And to add insult, this company has the AUDACITY to charge you money to move your furniture! Instead of two movers you can choose an option to assist 1 mover, and you have to be able to lift 100lbs. TF!!!!!!! I love my decor store but they need to drop this company because it is giving them a bad name. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO SERVICE. read more

It's truly a reputational risk for a store to be associated with this service. Huge fail on my part for thinking this would be a good experience. They cancelled on me twice and still haven't refunded my delivery charge. Totally unresponsive to my emails and calls. Don't do it! read more

First time using service. I found out about it calling a delivery store requesting if they do same day delivery. They said that they refer their customers to the app. What a surprise!! Totally easy like an Uber, except there is not map showing you how close or far. With the version I used, you place your "order", choose one or two people - I chose one as I put in I was helping, so it made it cheaper- and then if you want pickup now or at a later time/date, and within an hour my furniture was picked up and delivered. Once you place your order, you get a confirmation email that says a call is next. They also e-mail and text statuses. My guy was super friendly and it was an overall pleasant experience as I did not know what to expect. Would definitely use again. They need to do more marketing to get the word out there!! I think they should also offer veteran/military discounts. read more

Delivery was to come yesterday between 9:00 and 3:00. Received call at yesterday at 2:30 pm that it would not deliver before 3:00 but later that day. Received call at 6:30 PM saying that they would not come at all and would send an email to reschedule to today. Email never came. Called them today and told them to "pick a time that they could get here". They picked the time 1:00 to 3:00 and told me that I was a priority. I called at 4:15 inquiring where they were. When they told me the location, I knew that there was no way that they could be here before store closing and they asked to reschedule. Trust was lost, I dropped the service. Excuse of not knowing time of travel was used, not good in today's GPS/Wayz world. Every time I called the phone wait was long. read more

AWFUL experience trying to get my sofa delivered. I purchased from BigLots.com and was told that my item would be delivered on 3/23. When no one showed to deliver, I called to find out what was going on. They then rescheduled my delivery, and then did not show again. NOBODY reached out to let me know they wouldn't be coming, or why. I had to call and get to the right person each of the SIX TIMES they rescheduled my delivery. I rearranged my life and responsibilities to make sure I was there for the delivery time THEY gave me, and they failed to show up every time. I then tried canceling my order, and even that was an ordeal! I finally spoke with a Big Lots manager to get a refund on the sofa I purchased, and he helped me more in 10 minutes than any of the 10+ people I spoke with from PickUpNow. The only thing PickUpNow ever did was make excuse after excuse, have me on hold for 30 minutes at a time (and even ended the call before ever speaking with me), and make false promises as far as my delivery. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. Terrible customer service, no accountability, and I honestly do not understand how they are able to get away with running a business like this AND with false advertising. read more

This company is great. They use an extremely easy phone app and you get your quote right away. They offer same day and other day service and a two hour window. From now on if I think about the worst customer service I will think about Pickup Same Day Delivery. To have Same Day Delivery in their name is an utter joke. I was canceled without notice three times and only after I was spending hours trying to get ahold of someone either on the phone or via their chat was I able to even find out that my delivery would not take place. Today broke the camel's back, a man calls me says that the company didn't assign him another driver and how heavy my love seat was. Since I was already canceled twice, i told him we can help to bring it in. He says ok, I will be there between 12 and 12.30. Nothing, I call him only to find out that the company wasn't willing to pay his rate so he decided not to do and of course nobody let me know, His advice, just reschedule. Really??? Reschedule for the third time? Spending hours trying tog et to talk to someone only to be ditched again? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are absolutely horrific in customer service. Update 3/17/2020 I had a long conversation with Justin, who not only asked a lot of good questions about what happened to me but also listened to my recommendations. I will repeat here what I told him. Pickup is an amazing concept if the company can get their operations up to speed. Any new company goes through growing pains and Pickup is no different. I appreciate him and the owner Brenda taking a personal interest in listening to a customer and working on significantly improving the experience for any future customer. I wish them the best! read more

Holy cow! I bought a huge table with 6 chairs and an expandable leaf from Ashley Furniture. It was a floor sample so they wouldn't deliver it but recommended Pickup. We had to rent a uhaul last minute (which was cheaper than this service) and pick the item up ourselves. They had to reschedule twice because the driver could no longer pick up our order. The best part is that they never called to tell me that. I had to call them twice and each time they said "we don't have enough drivers to deliver" but weren't going to call me themselves to tell me that. Very bad service. They also don't do same day delivery of orders placed after 3pm (which is fine) BUT their app let me schedule it without warning and after 9pm when I called to ask what happened, that's when they told me. No one called to reschedule it for the next day. I would not use this service. read more

I wish I could give this company negative stars. The level of unprofessionalism is unreal. I ordered a mattress from big lots with same day delivery on Friday January 22nd to be delivered the next day between 9am and 9pm. The next afternoon around 2pm I got a text saying I would need to call to reschedule because my order couldn't be delievered. Isabelle at pickup scheduled me for the next day again 9am to 9pm. That day by 8pm still no word. I call the number and I spoke to Jim or Justin, Some "J" name. He told me their delivery windows were a week out because they have a shortage of drivers but promised to have my delivery to me within the next 2 days and get my delivery fee refunded. Monday and Tuesday I hear nothing. By Thursday almost a week after my purchase and a few emails he finally calls me and tells me "they didn't forget about me they are still trying to find a driver" I wait the weekend and hear nothing. I email him today Monday. 10 days after my original order and hear nothing. I text the original number that told me to reschedule and that person tells me that since it's been over PICKUPS 7 day delivery window they are going to have to cancel my order. So i went into big lots tonight and spoke to the associate there. He tells me that the woman from PICKUP has been calling almost daily (as I'm sending emails) telling them to cancel my order!! Starting on the original day my order was supposed to be delivered!!! They were never going to deliver my items and they tried to make it look like it was big lots fault. I had a set of plates ordered to be delivered to my home. There delivery guy opened my package and distributed my items in six different places and lost them. I called there corporate offices and they do nothing to help. They keep avoiding the problem, I kept asking to show me the photos of my package delivered and they couldn't show me that. I spoke to LEX an employee of there's and didn't help but kept telling me it's my fault. Then spoke to MANAGEMENT her name is MAKEILA and same thing she didn't help and said she'd call me when she finds the photos of the delivery as that is company policy to take a photo of the delivered package and she couldn't find them. She then decided to avoid my calls and avoid the whole problem. They kept saying they will call me back and never do and that happens to feel like a tactic to avoid a problem. I was dealing with this for over a month calling multiple times and they could even get a hold of there own driver or even try to find out with him what happened. HORRIBLE SERVICE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE CORPORATE OFFICES AND MANAGEMENT. They left a bad impression over all. Would not recommend. read more

I was schedule for delivery on Sunday between 3-5. I finally got a phone call from the Customer Service after 6:30 to tell me they were not going to be able to make the delivery. They then asked when a good time on Monday would I be? 12-3 I told them. 1 o'clock rolls around and NO calls so I took it upon myself to call them. I was supposed to get a call back from them after I left 2 messages. 3 1/2 hours later I get a return call. Meanwhile I have already gotten someone on the phone which told me yes I will still get my delivery on Monday that the drivers would be in Williamsburg with 30-45 mins. That was at 2:00. Yup you guessed it... the 4:39 call which was just someone returning my call from earlier NOT the customer service rep call me back to tell me they WERE NOT coming again. I kind of figured that when it was already after 4:00. AGAIN I was told that my couch would be delivered on Tuesday now. After 2 more phone calls with them on Monday night they assured me that it would be delivered on Tuesday. I again was asked when I wanted it to be delivered. I told them I did not care what time just deliver my dang couch!!! When I had not hear from anyone by 12 on Tuesday I called yet again. You guesses it! there was no delivery scheduled. Kathleen (which was the at least 3rd person I talked to) assured me that it would be delivered today. She was going to call the district "whatever " supervisor for the lack of the exact term. After finally getting a schedule time she said she would pass along my name, number & situation to "higher ups" and they would be giving me a call back. It's Thursday now. I even sent 3 different emails and responded to a text they sent with a not good review. Still no one NOT a single person has email or called me to discuss my situation. Yes it is a great concept but it is only good if it works. Don't tell people you will be able to deliver something to them and NOT do it. I know if I hadn't called them I would still be waiting on my couch. It might work ok in bigger cities but it doesn't work to well in Williamsburg VA. Just beware if you have a problem it's extremely hard to speak with someone. The two gentlemen that finally delivered my couch were extremely professional. read more
