My friend and I popped in to see what Pickles at Forté was like, and it's crazy how different the old Walmart looks now. The space is clean, spacious, and way nicer than we expected. Parking within the building can be a bit costly for non-members. Street parking available, free on Sundays.

New, clean indoor pickleball courts where Walmart used to be.. it sure smells a lot better now than when it was a Walmart. Mostly groups that go into play. Pickup games might be better around 5-8pm. Proves a bit high for day passes. Ceilings low for serial lobbers. Parking in the structure.

Dropped in for open play in the afternoon. It is $30 per person, it is a bit pricey even though it's good for a whole day (till they closed). Parking was $5 after 1pm for non members. Their ceiling is a bit low but can't complain too much as I don't think there's another indoor court nearby and good for rainy/ windy days.

Six courts, air conditioned, indoor social club.

Love these indoor courts. Nice and cool and clean. Front desk staff is always helpful and 90 minutes parking is included with membership.

As I was shopping at Land & Sea Golf today I was greeted by Garret. He allowed me to browse through…read morethe store first then approached me to see if I had any questions regarding the store merchandise. I asked about sale items and he walked to the 50% off clothing sale rack and 50% off Olokai shoe and sandal sale rack. I didn't see anything I liked and he suggested I take a look at the fukubukuro shopping bags that was on sale for $49, regular $125. We walked over there and I told him I already purchased one during the holidays and didn't want to take the chance of purchasing a bag with the same three shirts I already have. I asked if I could open one bag and if the shirts inside were different I would purchase it. Garett said he would call the store manager, to see if that was possible. She was very hesitant and later told Garret she won't approve it. He was willing to call Mike, owner of the store and I told him that's not necessary. I asked Garett if he was on commission and he said yes. I've been a retail manager for many years and this is the type of salespeople I always looked for: Garret wasn't just a salesclerk but one that worked hard at making a sale without being pushy, like a car salesman. If I was still a store manager I would steal Garret away in a heartbeat. He knows sitting around doing nothing won't make you money. If you want to make more than just minimum wage you need to get out there on the sales floor and do what it takes to increase your commission.

It's a great little shop featuring mostly Golf products also, you can find a few Pickel Ball…read moreaccessories here. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a really good supply of Olukai footwear tailored for Golf. You can also find Raen optics sunglasses too.

I am writing only to review the swim lessons for kids, which are great. We don't belong to the club…read moreand have never used the tennis courts. But the pools are large and slightly heated. It's really difficult to get time slots for the lessons. They will tell you the date when registration opens and you have to be online at midnight in order to get a spot. Fortunately once you are in, you can keep the spot for the following sessions. Lessons are only 15 minutes, which I doubted at first. But turns out that is just the right amount of time for a 6 yo! And when the kids get older, you can book 2 sessions back to back, totaling 30 minutes. Our two boys love their instructor, Conner. He's serious, gets right down to business, and works hard with them to really perfect their strokes. We're very pleased.

I grew up going to this club for swimming lessons and then for tennis lessons. We came here today…read moreto play a tennis match for a league. A lot has changed since I was here as a child. There's a pool near the front that's not just a kiddie pool. There's a ramp and not just stairs at the entrance (good for handicap/stroller accessibility). Unfortunately they closed the snack bar (used to be my favorite place to get gummy snacks after practice). I heard the tennis courts now have a surface that is squishy and unlike regular courts which is not too good. But other than that, it's just as I remember! The parking lot is pretty beat up and today had lots of pooling water in potholes. At least the parking is free!
