Half of the courts are used by avid picklers who will place their paddles on the rack out front and rotate through. The other half are more for groups who are going to stay a while if you come with multiple people, if you can manage to snag one I'd recommend it! TIPS & TRICKS: * Bring water!! Use the bathroom before, the parks restrooms aren't the best. And plenty of sunscreen, we are in Hawaii after all, even if it's December!

The man said they actually do gift certificates (old school) not cards but not to worry they're good for two years. Not sure that's legal but hopefully he'll redeem it before that. Lots of rackets, apparel, socks, shoes, etc., a lot packed into a small shop. Seems to be popular as I'm always seeing people going in and out. Open every day 10:00 to 6:00. You either have to be invited by a resident to play or to enjoy the facilities located on top of the mountain. Beautiful scenic views can be seen from here, along with cool gusty breezes. I was fortunate to play here many times and it always takes my breath away.

He allowed me to browse through…read morethe store first then approached me to see if I had any questions regarding the store merchandise. I asked about sale items and he walked to the 50% off clothing sale rack and 50% off Olokai shoe and sandal sale rack. I didn't see anything I liked and he suggested I take a look at the fukubukuro shopping bags that was on sale for $49, regular $125. We walked over there and I told him I already purchased one during the holidays and didn't want to take the chance of purchasing a bag with the same three shirts I already have. I asked if I could open one bag and if the shirts inside were different I would purchase it. Garett said he would call the store manager, to see if that was possible. She was very hesitant and later told Garret she won't approve it. He was willing to call Mike, owner of the store and I told him that's not necessary. I asked Garett if he was on commission and he said yes. I've been a retail manager for many years and this is the type of salespeople I always looked for: Garret wasn't just a salesclerk but one that worked hard at making a sale without being pushy, like a car salesman. If I was still a store manager I would steal Garret away in a heartbeat. He knows sitting around doing nothing won't make you money. If you want to make more than just minimum wage you need to get out there on the sales floor and do what it takes to increase your commission.

Although there are pricey membership levels, you can buy a day pass for either $10 or $20. But if you play a lot, the membership would be worth it. Oh! And there's a Teapresso on the first floor, as well as a small area where Aloha Creamery popcorn and ice cream is sold.

There's a pool near the front that's not just a kiddie pool. There's a ramp and not just stairs at the entrance (good for handicap/stroller accessibility). Unfortunately they closed the snack bar (used to be my favorite place to get gummy snacks after practice). I heard the tennis courts now have a surface that is squishy and unlike regular courts which is not too good. But other than that, it's just as I remember! The parking lot is pretty beat up and today had lots of pooling water in potholes. At least the parking is free!

Gym equipment is located kinda semi outdoors indoors style. Parking is tough in the afternoon with the kids and their parents descending in droves for swim classes or team practices. If you are expecting new equipment and cleanly updated surroundings with quiet work out space..this place is not for you.
