Have your wedding here - you won't regret it Where to begin...I'll start with the most amazing venue coordinator you could ask for - Hayley. From the first meeting my Husband and I had with Hayley about booking Pinecrest for our wedding we knew we were in the best hands. Hayley walked us through every detail and we quickly found out just how much she is willing, and delighted, to do to make our wedding special. This care followed through all the way up until the day of the wedding! Hayley was incredibly communicative throughout the planning process, and she set up AND took down all of our decor. We truly did not have to lift a finger and she made the reception look absolutely fabulous. The food...our guests are still talking about how amazing dinner was. Mark and the kitchen staff did a fabulous job with all of the food for our wedding. We thought that our tasting when we selected our meals was good? It was somehow BETTER the night of our wedding. I don't know how they did it, but the mashed potatoes and the white fish - I still dream about it. We had some dietary restrictions for a few guests - gluten-free & Vegan, and Mark and his team happily worked with us to provide gluten-free and vegan versions of the dishes we selected so our guests got the same delicious meal! The bar? Equally as fabulous. We threw out the idea of adding a signature drink and Hayley and Mark were ON it. We gave them a recipe we enjoyed of a French 75 and they were more than happy to include it. The bar was packed with pretty much everything you could ask for, and the bartenders were so fun and kind. We truly had the best time with them. I've been to Pinecrest before so I already knew it was a beautiful course, but our photographs turned out even better than I had hoped. It was a beautiful day surrounded by beautiful scenery and the most amazing people. We used all local vendors - venue, DJ, Photographer, and they turned out to all know each other so of course they worked FABULOUSLY together. I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing team. Did some practice shots and then played a couple rounds at Pebble Beach. Nice, relaxing and easy to do! They have 3 simulators - probably for just the cold months as it takes up a good portion of the dining area in the bar. We enjoyed some beers with a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Beer was cold, wrap was yummy. All the employees we encountered were nice too.

Sad to see, I'm guessing as it gets colder, it will become more crowded. We really liked the space. The bay is comfortable, big enough for 3-5 people, I think six would be tight. I just had my son, we were super comfortable. The ball release system is really cool. The tees are adjustable which is so much better than Top Golf. Our simulator froze up a couple times. We had workers come clear out the sensors and reset the system. When it was working, it was really cool. We ordered the chips and salsa, which also comes with nacho cheese. The cheese was cold, I think they should heat it, Im guessing the salsa was Tostitos and the chips were blah. For $7, I would pass. I'm not sure food is their main thing here. The workers were awesome. Really, really nice! I really appreciated their friendly customer service. In the 'winter' it's $65/hour Friday-Sun. We will be back!

The course is pretty forgiving, but the greens can be challenging if caught in the wrong spot. The weather was great and the course in good condition for this time of year. Everyone we encountered was great to deal with and our group had lots of fun on the course. We teed off in the morning and never encountered any delays, nor did we have anyone pushing us from behind. The best surprise out on the course was their cart girl, Bailey... she was fabulous and made the rounds to our group several times. Even partaking in some pranks on our foursome that she was put up to, by our group ahead of us... She was a true sport and made our round, and the day, at Cary CC memorable! Shout out to Bailey!!

Players here also DONT have proper etiquette. Group in front waiters until the group in front of them was completely off the green to even start. Group behind us hit when we were waiting for the group in front, nearly missing us by a couple feet (didn't yell fore either). Don't expect to have a good/fun time here. Find somewhere else.

The rate of play was unbearably slow. 18 holes were pushing 5.5 hrs. Due to the course being over crowded. We played Sunday afternoon, the beverage person on course went home before we played 9, the grill and the turn was closed. No way to get even a water on the course without going up to the bar. I'd love to play the course again under different circumstances but probably won't because it was so bad.
