​WTF, now how do my reviews keep getting deleted? I hope LKQ has changed, but between San Bernardino and Hesperia, these yards were straight ripping people off. ​Don't let them trick you. They were forcing the "optional" warranty on everyone for extra money. When me and my partner Brandon questioned them, we figured it out real quick. We got pissed because they claimed it was mandatory, but it never was. They were just treating people like sh*t and stealing from customers. ​We definitely know what was going on because a security guard who worked the Hesperia yard (off Lemon and E) used to come to our shop to get his car worked on. He gave us the lowdown on what we already suspected: they were "allegedly" taking the money from warranties, waiting until the last couple of days before they expired, and cashing them in themselves to make bank. ​And don't even get me started on the entrance fee. They charge you at the door and claim it gets taken off your purchase, but when you go to pay, they charge you a separate fee and do some receipt magic to make it look like they gave it back. I did not have a good experience here today. Well, at least towards the ending. This was 5/25/25 arrived 1:35 pm left close to 5 pm. This is my second visit in over 5 years. I did not like how one of the staffers treated me. Hispanic male looking like a douche, he's the one checking in customer at the front. He had some small argument earlier with a customer in front of me as I was waiting to pay in. I can see he was a little soft with him. I bought some steel wheels and needed the tires to be removed. All 4 stacked up in a wheel barrel. I pushed the wheel barrel past the door and waited. Female staffer forgot to call the technician to remove the tires for me. Douchebag saw me walking out from the door and started yelling at me. He was getting hostile for no reason. I don't like the way he treated me like that. With other customer I can see he toned down a little but with me I'm not sure why he's like that. Just because I got a soft Asian face doesn't mean you can be as bad as you want. One day you might meet a bad mother fucker who will fuck you up. Today, you are lucky it's me. Ending up having to wait 30 minutes for the guy to remove the tires. I can understand they're short on staff but to hear someone yelling at you like that it's not enjoyable. Right after technician showed up costumers started showing up with wheels and tires service. I wonder if more than one customer other than myself shows up maybe technician might arrive sooner? I thought this location you can bring the wheel barrel outside. He said I cannot bring it out. Ok, not a problem. I went to get my car and park it near the entrance. He let other customer blocking the walkway with the wheel barrel. He so smart and nice to other customer. it's utterly asinine that LKQ themselves damage valuable parts on their own inventory as a corporate protocol. I scoured LKQs in SoCal, found the color vehicle I needed a door for, inspected pictures closely and found no dents on the door. I call and they say they can't send anyone at the moment to verify the door I need is still available. I drive 2 hours, pay $5, and then find both doors on the passenger side have been destroyed by the forklift used to move vehicles around. Not smart. There is a better way. read more

Went here looking for salvaged cars to repair but they don't sell cars they only sell parts. The guy at the front was really nice. He greeted us and asked if we needed help finding anything. I was in the wrong place for a salvaged van but their kindness made me want to return if/when I need car parts. Thanks guys! read more

Very helpful and nice. Got the part needed for more than half the cost of new. They did not answer the phone, but it wasn't far to check out. I found the cylinder heads I needed, I got to the front to pay for them and they wanted $815 for 2 worn out chevrolet 454 core cylinder heads, I googled the same heads and found them at summit racing already to go fully machined for the same price. Needless to say I left the junkyard heads at the junkyard, they were $199 each just weeks ago on their website. Their prices are way too high, that's a rip off especially when you still would have to send them to the machine shop for another $800.00. They may have an obsolete part you can not find anywhere else, But Chevy truck heads are all over. face it we go there to save money not pay double for worn out parts. Beware before you buy, who ever is making the pricing needs to put down the crack pipe. read more

I would give them one star only because they have the parts.... My situation is this... I purchased parts there for my mother who's 76 years old just a couple days ago.. during the checkout the cashier had two spark plug wires running up as coil pack plug wires and I corrected her telling her that they were just spark plug wires that the coil pack was the thing that I was purchasing with them. I'd advise her that I wanted the warranty on the coil pack in case it wasn't the problem. Another gentleman that worked there came over and corrected her on the plug wires as being just that plug wires not coil pack wires. She then changed the price on the plug wires to that a plug wires. She said how is this look now and I looked at the price the gentleman who worked there and corrected her on the pricing said no he wants the warranty he said he wanted the warranty on the coil pack so that in case it's not the issue with the car that he can bring it back so I rang up thinking everything was okay and come to find out they took the warranty off I saw this on the receipt only after getting home and realizing that the coil pack that I had purchased wasn't the issue with the car.. I called back and spoke to another gentleman who said he was the manager there and he said nope nothing we could do about it.. text sir I could come there and point out tomorrow morning the gentleman that works there that actually told her no he wants the warranty on the ignition coil so if it's not the problem he can bring it back before I even ring up he told her this so why is the manager even if I'm saying that I could point the gentleman out that told her yes he wants the warranty still telling me no tough you can't come back with the part and that's receipt and get your warranty and get the money back that's robbery it's shiesty shady and I'm sorry but just downright wrong!!!!? If anybody agrees with me give them or at least the manager of the place a bad review!!!! That is bad business I'm going to find out who the owner is and we'll see what he has to say about this I'm part of a crew that of electricians that wired that whole place and I advise the manager of that before I even started talking to him about the issue hoping it would give me a little leniency in the situation but obviously he doesn't care we'll see if the owner does!!! read more

Visited 3/17/2024. Vehicle I found on their website added to the lot on 3/15 was not on the lot yet. Staff member "Susie" would not refund my entry fee as "I had walk the lot". Yeah, I walked the lot looking for the row the car was supposed to be on but it was empty. So I traveled 100 miles each way for nothing. Takeaway is the vehicle list on the LKQ website is not to be trusted, the employees at the Hesperia location are rude and the LKQ policy to not refund entry fees when the website is inaccurate is dishonest at best. read more

Worst junkyard experience I've ever had. The staff are absolutely great, no problem there. Very very expensive, I tried to buy a complete front suspension assembly but they wanted to charge me by the component, every last nut and bolt, it was going to be too much, so I just bought a couple small things. Good selection of cars, okay prices, I love walking the lot. Too bad they have a horrible return policy. I bought a part that was $31.00. I end up paying over $50 by the time I get out. Core charge? Seriously? Environmental Fee? 10% over and above for a warranty? Then you Tax it all? So I return the part about 1 hour later because there is no way no how this will fit, and I get $36.00 back. They had no way of knowing this, but I buy a lot from LKQ for the company I work for. Paint and materials and new parts. I personally have bought a lot of used parts from them as well. I was there on 3-12-18 FOR THE $7 Monday Madness Sale. IN 2017 IT WAS $7 FOR A TIRE ON A STEEL WHEEL, $1 CORE FOR THE RIM. Walked that place for over 4 hrs. The madness is finding a decent tire to use. !, ( BECAUSE THEY GOT ALL THE GOOD ONES IN THE SHOWROOM FOR BIG $$$) I GET UP THERE AND THE DEAL HAS CHANGED. It's now $7 for tire, $3 to remove from "ANY" rim, no longer a $1 core for the steel wheel, BUT Still a $1 core for the Tire that must be brought back with-in 2 weeks. LMFAO, REALLY!!!!! You know they're counting on you to not be back by then. OK, Lets add this up, $6 for me and my son to get in, $14 for 2 tires after looking for over 4 hrs. $6 to remove from rims, $2 for core charge, $1 plus tax $1 plus environmental fee, what ever the hell that is, lol. So 2 tires for $14 turns into (( $31.06 )) after i get out the door with all the silly BS Fees they toss in there. Walmart next time - New tires for $40-50 ea NEW!!!! read more

You should really Check prices before going here, after looking online for a part it was around $34, I went there in the 105 degree weather and picked what I needed. Went up to pay for it and the $34 went to $55 just so if it didn't work I could return it because they don't offer a warranty for there stuff. For $55 I got the same part from autozone brand new with a life time warranty for $70. This would have saved me time, sweat, cussing and being out in that damn heat. The cashier even asked the manager to lower the price since it was so close to the price of the new part but he said no, so I left the part I'll spend a little extra to be sure something works and LIFETIME warranty, not 30 days. read more

When I got in an accident, and it was not worth fixing my poor old car, I called around to get estimates for junking my car.They were the only yard who would pay us even close to the trade in value of my car (the car still ran, and other than the hood sticking up and a few internal injuries it was still working). The staff was very helpful and worked with me when my husband and I were indecisive on how we were to deliver the car. They were very friendly and gave us top dollar for my car even when they had to drive to us to pick up the car. I would definitely recommend them for scrapping a car that is not worth the money to save. read more

A yard where you get good customer service with a great selection and you find what your looking for for cheap, or rude workers I yell at and no selection to get what I need with high prices. Overall I have seen the bad workers come and go. The good ones always stay at this location, prices go up and down (when they have great sales going on like today is 40 percent off) and cars are the most well organized in Hesperia, I have been to other pick a parts... Do not go there. They do not tell you when you buy parts that unless you buy there b/s warranty that you can not return a part. And on top of that if you do bring the part back you do not get the refund for the warranty! I was told "you are buying a privilege of being able to return the part." What good is a warranty if you do not have the part anymore? This has to be illegal in so many different ways! This is worst policy ever! read more
