I'm really disappointed with the service I received at Firestone in Hesperia. I brought my car in because it was shaking heavily when braking over 70 mph. They told me I needed new brakes and rotors, and since I was about to move to Arizona, I agreed and spent nearly $2,000 to make sure my car was safe for the drive. Unfortunately, the issue wasn't fixed at all. Once I got to my new city, I took my car to another Firestone, and they found that the rotors installed were slightly warped and two of the brake pads had actually been installed backwards. I'm grateful that Firestone in Oro Valley is correcting the issue, but this could have turned out much worse if I hadn't caught it. I would not recommend going to the Hesperia location if you value your safety and your money! read more

Love this place. They're always really chill and let me know exactly what I need and give me a good price range of products they recommend so they're not outright forcing the most expensive option on me. Came in for a tire change and was informed I should look into getting the others changed when I have a chance and when I told the guy I would have to hold off for a little bit due to finances he wasn't pushy or judgmental at all, in fact he was incredibly understanding and friendly about the matter. He made me and my boyfriend feel very comfortable about coming back in whenever we're ready and let me know what problems should be handled next so I know what to prioritize for my next visit. He was even kind enough to inform me upfront that he would have to put in an order my back tires as they're a bit different but let me know whenever I'm ready to go through with it to give them a call and he'd make sure they got ordered before my next appt so they're there when I go in next. Highly recommend this spot. A lot of the stuff I'm dealing with with my car is first time stuff for me, and while they know I'll usually call my dad up to confirm certain things, they never try to be snakey with me. Great service. Clean waiting area. High quality work at a damn good price. I've had a lot of people try to hose me down just cause I have a mercedes (that's almost 20 mind you) but not these guys. On our way down from Lake Arrowhead, on our way back to Vegas, the tire gauge alerted me to a leak in the front left tire. I was luckily able to get it to Firestone, which was on the way, on a Sunday around 11:00 AM with about 24 PSI left. When I got out, I could clearly see a hole from either a nail or screw in the tread and could feel and hear the air leak. I walked in and was greeted by Eddie. He was super helpful. I have a 2022 Lincoln Aviator with 21" rims and hard to find low profile tires. Eddie believed it could be repaired even though it was close to the curve of the sidewall. He recommended a place for lunch for us to eat, which was also great, and had the job done in 30 minutes for around $26 dollars. I have to say, this was the easiest inconvenience ever. Big thanks to the Firestone guys for fixing our tire quick so we could get back home. PS, the Pho place in the same shopping center is excellent. read more

Arranged to have alignment done on our infiniti and was told the car "didn't steer" which yeah, the alignment is in dire need of being redone. Said it was the clock spring in the steering wheel. Quoted 700 dollars and wouldn't t touch the vehicle. Meanwhile America's tire down the hill at least had no issue turning the car into the lift and replacing our tires. 0/10 read more

The employees here have Zero customer service training. They're completely cold and act like they don't care or give a shit. I came in to get tires installed, which were paid in advance. Little did i know you need an appointment for that. This isnt a doctors appointment, wtf? I don't know what their issues are here but stick to America's Tires. They always treat you with kindness, they show empathy and you don't need an appointment to get your tires installed. 19,000 miles Nissan Altima 2021. What I agreed to pay and what I ended up paying because they didn't use the lug key tool correctly was uncalled for ( probably used an impact my guess). Broke the key lug I did not get it back before I left. Told them to just put regular lugs on to make it easy I didn't have time to wait for some on order. $20 a lug is what they charged me for the replacement lugs for the locked ones I came in with. I told them I'm not paying for lugs they broke when the tool and lugs haven't been touched since the dealership. I have dry rot tires that's why I'm there. Gave me a 10% discount so I said ok I'll pay the $20 difference on the price. When I left found out the 10% was only applied to the $80 lugs not the $600 order so I got $8 not $60 off like I thought. Was there over 2 hours for tire change, the technician made a mistake, customer service was good but they got me with the discount confusion especially with the $100 deposit I already put I thought the price I paid was without the deposit calculated or I would not have left. Don't go there for aliment took my car charge me and told me my car was going to drive straight. When I went to drive the car steering wheel was on the 10 o'clock poison. They told me if I was not satisfied they would take care of it . Pay up front drive the car did not drive straight when back they did not honor there weren't. So I took my car in about a week and a half ago because I seen my oil pan leaking I paid $19.99 for them to check it out for me they said that it was my oil plan leaking and that I needed a new one . that was going to cost me about $490 to replace I told him I didn't have the money because I didn't get paid until Friday. He tried getting me to get a credit card but I told him not. He did not tell me that they drained all the oil out of my car so they let me drive off without any oil in my car and they did not put back on the bolts to my undercarriage underneath my car. They only put 3 back on. Thankfully Martin and tommy got me in right when they opened after I told them how fast the air was depleting. Unfortunately I had to buy a brand new tire but thankfully they had the same one in stock and had a coupon code. The guys here are always helpful and informative and they will show you the issues they see so you are able to determine for yourself. The real thing I love the most is here they ACTUALLY use a torque wrench to set the lugs in the tires. They don't just take an impact to it and call it a day. Let me start with, Rex is a friendly guy, but discovered he does not explain services and pricing in detail. While having my company vehicle serviced, I felt like just a number and left in the dark about what was happening. I drop the vehicle off at 7:30am and work order was approved by my company by 8am. At 4pm, the vehicle still wasn't ready. How long should it take to install 3 tires (stupid don't ask), perform a 4 wheel alignment, an oil change and AC service? Certainly not more than 4 hours even if your short staffed. Now with me going out of town, it will be left in an unsecured location until I return Sunday. Now, if I had to work tomorrow, I wouldn't have a vehicle to drive because of their lack of responsibility and communication. Why bother making an early morning appointment to get simple stuff done? I was told by a tire company in my area that I need new brakes all around. I took my vehicle to this Firestone location with a coupon a couple of months later, and was told that there was nothing wrong with my brakes. They could've taken advantage of me, but didn't. When it came time for new tires, they talked me out of performance tires and down to touring tires (Toyota Camry). My MPG, driving comfort, and tire wear have never been better. While they do a intermediate job on cars, their communication/scheduling/pricing with customers is below average. 1.What is the purpose of an online appointment systems when they constantly call to tell you they already booked up for that day. So why does you online system show different? Maybe take down your online self appointment system if your not actually going to let people keep the appointments they wanted. 2. They always want you to drop off the car for long periods of time. Never fails any time we did an oil change we would drop it off cause they said they need "time" so your telling me it take from 8am to 3pm to change oil? I didn't ask for anything else, oil change only. Then even if you tell them you need the car back by a certain time they will say "no problem" then call hour before you get it saying they haven't even started. 3. When they come out to tell you something else is wrong, and even though you tell them not at this time they still push and push and push. What part about NO means NO. 4. How can you charge one person with the same exact model, getting the same exact job done one price and somebody else a completely different one. Do you believe no one is listening to you, well your wrong. Lastly I get its a chain business but that does not mean they are allowed to get away with their services. My family and I were heading out for the holidays. Dark clouds started rolling over the mountains. Flashes of lightning and echoes of thunder bounced off the mountains. Once again the meteorologist were wrong. The conditions of my tires were in no shape for a road trip which experience told me was going to be a snow ridden adventure. The tires on my vehicle were on backorder everywhere I called. I am a firm believer in buying good tires for a little more then buying cheap ones and sacrificing the peace of mind. I called Firestone and spoke to David. He understood my concerns, and while on the phone he located my tires at a different location. David made arrangements to have them shipped up to his store that afternoon/ same day. A man of his word he called me at 3 PM To tell me the tires were in. I Arrived a short time later. The team at Firestone Immediately put my vehicle on a rack and change all four tires, I was out of there within 40 minutes. I am very impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, and same day service others cannot provide. I will be telling friends and family about this location and David professionalism and will be returning whenever my vehicle needs service. Our family road trip was a successful one. The work Firestone executed allowed me to drive confidently through the storm, Eliminating the need for a death grip on my steering wheel. An older gentleman greeted me but told me to come back in a few hours, at about 5pm because he was busy. When I came back, a guy named Tony told me to come back tomorrow because they were busy yet again! So I went back today 8/07 and a prompt gentleman took care of my problem immediately. As I sat in the waiting room, Tony told a few other customers to come back the next day because he had a busy workload. I give this place 2 stars because they sent me on my way twice before helping me. They also sent other people away, basically telling customers to go away. I've been here a few times and it's the place to go if you like high pressure sales. Be prepared for high costs and pushy mechanics who try to get you to buy fluid exchanges you simply do not need. If you buy something like tires, they will push you every single time you come in to pay for another service. The last time I went, they didn't catch the fact that I needed 2 axles despite asking them to check out the major vibration I was feeling in the front of my car. I should of wrote this sooner but after hearing about other people having bad experiences here, I thought it would be right to post our experience a couple of months back with this Firestone location. Customer service here is great! wonderful even! until they f*ck up your vehicle. Then they deny everything and call you liars. Yes people, we were the unlucky ones to get bad customer service there. We took our vehicle here to get it serviced on a Sunday and they ended up damaging the sides from their lifts. Husband brought the damage up and showed to it Jerold P. Who was in "charge that day" Rex wasn't there. Jerold did apologize and owned up for the damage caused and promised something would be done when Rex came in the following day. Well the following day came, we went back to discuss the matter with Rex, and without even looking at the vehicle first, Rex denied it was their mechanics who caused it. Said the only way the damage would have happened was if an idiot would have done it, and that he didn't hire "idiots". We were taken a back of how his tone & demeanor changed from the friendly man we were accustomed to dealing with when we got our other vehicles serviced in the past. He became very accusatory and directed the blame on us. That we had caused the damage. After dealing with his true colors we asked him to talk to Jerold P. that Jerold knew all about it. Well Jerold changed his story too, he told Rex he NEVER admitted that the damage was caused there. Plainly calling us liars. Management & staff (coughs)Jerold P. handled the whole situation unprofessionally, rude even. I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed in their customer service when it comes to THEM OWNING up to THEIR MISTAKES. I called their headquarters to tell them what happened and found out, Rex Hollensby isn't even the manager there. He told us "He" was . Who's the liar now Rex? My car was having some over heating issues. I let Rex know what was going on and was told that they would check the cooling system. The next day I was told that it could be the fan relay or the heat sensor. The relay was replaced and it didn't fix the problem. I was told that they removed the thermostat and the fans started to work and that the relay was good and I would only be charged for the thermostat. I pick the car up and drive it home (about 10 miles) I park the car and it starts leaking water. I looked at the receipt and realized they changed a heat sensor, not the thermostat like I was told. $300 later and my 50 year old mom figured out that the water is not circulating and the water pump needs to be replaced. If they checked the cooling system like they said...they would or should have realized that the water wasn't circulating. Then they had the nerve to say that my battery was worn (it was replaced exactly 5 days before I took my car to them) They overcharge and take advantage and don't seem to know what they're doing! read more

My first time going here I got in oil change, I wanted Castrol oil, and this turned out to be $85 for them to do it.I also went another time to find out that My brakes on my car were supposedly put on wrong and it was going to cost around $500 for them to crack them off. I have since learned how to work on my car and come to find out it's only $25 for the oil and filter. So I'm paying them $60 for labor? Also I had a starter go out and they said that it would be $700. I bought a brand new starter for $100 and it only took 30 minutes to put in. OK I get it they get paid $60 an hour or whatever but it doesn't take 10 hours to put in a starter this shit is crazy. I still have them a 2 star review cuz they somewhat know what their doing idk if it's cuz they know I'm a female and they think they can get over on me. read more
