We called him multiple times during the time we were in Vietnam for assistance in booking a new flight, but he would not pick up the phone. My niece texted him and he read the message, but did not respond. I called him for three days and he finally answered my call and said that "NOTHING CAN BE DONE BECAUSE YOU ARE OVERSEAS. JUST DO WHATEVER EVA AIRLINE TELLS YOU TO DO." We ended up bring able to book a new flight home through another agent at a different airline home. After we got home, my sister talked with him about getting the refund for the flights that were canceled and he demanded $300 for the service of two tickets. I called the EVA agent and was told that this is illegal. The agent should not charge $150 for each ticket due to the flight cancellation from EVA airlines. This travel agency is very unethical and heartless. They just want money from their customers, not customers' safety when they get stuck overseas. If you do not want to be treated like us, DON'T BUY ARIPLANE TICKETS AT UNION TRAVEL. They are not helpful when you need them.

For $250 all in, Kim Travel handled it for me and I got a 10 year China visa within 2 weeks with no hassle. All I had to do was give them my passport, answer some questions, take a picture, and I was on my way. Pickup was easy, just bring your receipt. I recommend speaking Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) works best with staff, but I'm sure they can speak English.
