Amazing !! Where do I start? I absolutely love this school, my kids both attended at one point and loved the teachers, the director Ms Laurene! also the Amazing smaller class teachers, such as Ms Stephanie and Ms Amy. In the Older class there's Ms Sylvia and Mr Gilbert. They're the best sets of teachers I've seen in a very long time. They've made my daughter feel safe and my son. I am always happy to help in anyway, because they are so great with the kids.

Our family absolutely adores this school! The campus is beautiful and the staff is great. My son's pre k teacher Ms. Veronica is going to be the new director of the school and we are so happy for her! My son adores her! All of our concerns have always been addressed right away, and they use the hi mama app for daily constant communications about what your child is doing that day. You can tell that the teachers truly love their kids!. There a a lot of old reviews, but after Covid a new director took over (Mrs. Laurene) and really did an amazing job with it. She hired an amazing staff and is leaving the school in very capable and loving hands. After a year and a half, we are off to kindergarten and are sad to say goodbye to our friends at pacific friends school. If you are looking for a place for your child to learn, grow and have fun...I highly recommend giving pacific friends a try!!

Director Ms Laurene and the kids playing tug of war

New director, new teachers, new cook means an all-star staff. Love love love this school. It got a bad reputation pre-pandemic because of the previous office manager but she's now gone. I am still so happy with the school. My heart is warm when I see my daughter continue to develop into an outgoing and intelligent little person. Check video of the kids and director having fun together playing tug of war. This was a candid shot while walking up to pick up my daughter. P.s. the phone number on Yelp is not accurate. Try using Google. They cannot get a hold of Yelp to change the old phone number.

Great and kind staffs. Sadly there seems to be a high turn over rate. Price is reasonable and the director is easily accessible.

Our child is a sensitive artistic type, and most of the teachers we have had are understanding, and work with my child's style of learning. The staff is caring and attentive. They know my child by name, and are aware of my child's needs. Any issues we have had have been dealt with in a compassionate way, with my child's education (both academically and socially) as the utmost importance. We can't afford to donate lots of time or money to the school, but we have always been treated equally, like other families. Are there cliques, of course, this is true at every school. Are there teachers that are not as warm and fuzzy, yes, just like real life. All in all, I feel my child is getting a great education, is safe and cared for, and will be a better member of society from attending Baldwin Stocker. I'm not discounting issues that a few parents have had, and I'm sorry if there have been others that have had problems there. I hope they found resolve to their situations. The parents I speak with are happy to be part of the Baldwin Stocker community.

But why didn't the teacher let her know when it happened? Another time my brother-in-law arrived a bit early to pick up my nephew. The kids were having outside time and my nephew was crying in a corner by himself loudly. He was being ignored by the teacher and aids. It wasn't until they saw my brother in law watching that they went to console my nephew. Obviously we pulled him out of the school. So scary to think that people like this watch our children.

The entire staff is incredibly kind. Every single person, from the front office to the classroom, greets you with warmth and genuine care. But what has moved us most is the patience and thoughtfulness the teachers bring to each child. They don't just teach to a group; they take the time to truly understand each child's personality and meet them exactly where they are. One of our children is highly sensitive, and we were honestly a little nervous about how he'd navigate the preschool environment. The teachers embraced him completely; they were endlessly patient, consistent, and nurturing with him year after year. That kind of attentiveness is rare and means the world to a parent. The growth and independence we've seen in both of our kids has been remarkable. They've blossomed into confident, curious little people who are genuinely excited to learn and so much of that is thanks to the incredible foundation built here. We also cannot overstate how trustworthy and reliable this school is. Drop-off and pick-up always feel safe and organized, communication is always clear, and we've never once had to second-guess leaving our children here. There is always an open line of communication between us and the staff/teachers and they never make us feel like we are burdening them with questions. They are all so welcoming and friendly; and we're so grateful to be part of this school.

Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?
