This review is specifically regarding an experience my Wife and I currently have with our daughter's teacher Ms Laura, or known by our daughter as Ms Lolo. Aiko who is almost 4 has been attending All Seasons since Sept 2022 and if we could accurately relay the message she feels about school it would probably be "I hate school, but I love playing" yeah, typical kid. Our experience with Aiko starting and attending school was and is still very difficult at times, we have semi difficulty getting her up, once up she seems excited and okay to go to school, once at school she cry's soooo much, has a small meltdown and holds onto our legs, you get the idea...the first few weeks we thought this is just part of the process, however after 2 months of it and she still was crying we started to worry that this school setting was perhaps not fitting for her. Maybe she was too young, not ready yet, so many scenarios, this is where Ms Laura comes into play. Ms Laura went above and beyond. For beginners she started to recognize the pattern of drop off, the needs and wants Aiko seem to react good and bad too. She gave the extra attention needed for a smooth exchange in the morning with little to no crying, yes it wasn't ever flawless but it went from 0 to 80 easily. She'd do little things like, approach Aiko once we walked in and ask her about her toys, hair, outfit, shoes, anything and everything to help divert our walking away. This alone in itself was great for us as it probably helped fixed anxiety for Aiko as well as us once we left, knowing our daughter wasn't probably sitting in a classroom crying for the next 2 hours. She even figured out why at nap time Aiko would seem to cry, it was because that was her lunch break and a new teacher came in during the nap time, she reassured Aiko she was just going to take her lunch and would be back, obviously she connected that message clearly because Aiko no longer cry's during nap time, or at least that's what she tells us :) Additionally Ms Laura is all Aiko ever talks about when she isn't at school, that tells us she has made a great and lasting impression on our daughter and for that we are forever grateful. Ms Laura is a blessing to this school and our daughter, she is loving, caring, attentive and most importantly a person who seems to love her job, you don't see to much of that nowadays

Highly recommend All Seasons Children's Leaning Center to anybody who has a toddler! My daughter started with Mrs Tyna since she was 3.5 years old. She always look forward to go to school since then. Mrs Tyna is extremely kind and always be patient to the kids. I still remember the first day I pick her up from the school,my daughter told me she likes this teacher because she's very nice. She cares about her student in many ways. I've seen my daughter learning important skills during the time she's been at All Seasons. She learn to eat by herself(she wasn't a good eater before) say please and thank you. Mrs Nina always encourages kids to read books in the class. That helps kids build their confidence. I'm surprised how much they can read at the end of the semester. Mrs Minerva is also warm and kind. She's always enthusiastic to her student. My daughter told me Mrs Minerva loves her because she's kind to her and I believe other kids feel the same way. We haven't get a chance to study in other teachers' class. But even though my daughter told me she likes Mrs Sherry because she's funny. And Mrs Tyana always say hi and goodbye to all the parents every single day we drop off and pick up the kids from the school. I cannot say enough good things about Mrs porter who runs this school. She is reliable and always willing to help. She listens to the parents and gives good advise in a child's development. Most of the parent that I know are willing to continue on with this learning center until their child pretty much age out. I'm very happy with all seasons and most importantly,my daughter enjoys going here. You will be amazed by how much your kid will learn if you get a chance to have your kid attend this school!!

But why didn't the teacher let her know when it happened? Another time my brother-in-law arrived a bit early to pick up my nephew. The kids were having outside time and my nephew was crying in a corner by himself loudly. He was being ignored by the teacher and aids. It wasn't until they saw my brother in law watching that they went to console my nephew. Obviously we pulled him out of the school. So scary to think that people like this watch our children.

Our child is a sensitive artistic type, and most of the teachers we have had are understanding, and work with my child's style of learning. The staff is caring and attentive. They know my child by name, and are aware of my child's needs. Any issues we have had have been dealt with in a compassionate way, with my child's education (both academically and socially) as the utmost importance. We can't afford to donate lots of time or money to the school, but we have always been treated equally, like other families. Are there cliques, of course, this is true at every school. Are there teachers that are not as warm and fuzzy, yes, just like real life. All in all, I feel my child is getting a great education, is safe and cared for, and will be a better member of society from attending Baldwin Stocker. I'm not discounting issues that a few parents have had, and I'm sorry if there have been others that have had problems there. I hope they found resolve to their situations. The parents I speak with are happy to be part of the Baldwin Stocker community.

My older son has phased out and is now in TCHS Geometry and just made the basketball team but my younger son is now back at Little Harvard. He's always enjoyed school but he is absolutely thrilled every day when he comes home from school, gushing about how great the teachers are, how wonderful his friends are, what he's learning. He told me about a child who cried when asked to introduce herself and it impressed me when my son said the teachers taught everyone to be inclusive, loving and no one made fun of her, just tried to help her. This is the environmental I want my son in- to learn to be kind, while having fun and learning. Really loving this place right now. If you're not near Arcadia School District, look up Chiao Hsin in Walnut and Monterey Park. These two so far are great for us!!! After my younger son phases out, my daughter will definitely be going next if we still live here.

They also do spelling bees which help reinforce skills learned throughout the school year so they aren't forgotten.

S. Lewis texts and it was "so cool and so philosophic" (her word!) and how all the lessons with him are so meaty and interesting and she loves all of it. He connects every lesson with "life stuff" (Again, verbatim.) It all just spilled out of her, she hadn't even put her backpack down, she was so jazzed. So grateful for that. The cool Mr. Z is husband to Mrs. Jackie, whom my daughter also adores. Mrs. Jackie spoke to the class about grit and it completely won my daughter over. They talked about being resilient and how to handle difficult things. My daughter had been struggling with juggling her schedule with club basketball, school, and friends, and that class helped strengthen her resolve and rise to the challenge. I hope hope hope Mrs. Jackie can squeeze a few more life classes with our 7th graders before Baby Z makes his/her appearance! Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?
