This review is specifically regarding an experience my Wife and I currently have with our daughter's teacher Ms Laura, or known by our daughter as Ms Lolo. Aiko who is almost 4 has been attending All Seasons since Sept 2022 and if we could accurately relay the message she feels about school it would probably be "I hate school, but I love playing" yeah, typical kid. Our experience with Aiko starting and attending school was and is still very difficult at times, we have semi difficulty getting her up, once up she seems excited and okay to go to school, once at school she cry's soooo much, has a small meltdown and holds onto our legs, you get the idea...the first few weeks we thought this is just part of the process, however after 2 months of it and she still was crying we started to worry that this school setting was perhaps not fitting for her. Maybe she was too young, not ready yet, so many scenarios, this is where Ms Laura comes into play. Ms Laura went above and beyond. For beginners she started to recognize the pattern of drop off, the needs and wants Aiko seem to react good and bad too. She gave the extra attention needed for a smooth exchange in the morning with little to no crying, yes it wasn't ever flawless but it went from 0 to 80 easily. She'd do little things like, approach Aiko once we walked in and ask her about her toys, hair, outfit, shoes, anything and everything to help divert our walking away. This alone in itself was great for us as it probably helped fixed anxiety for Aiko as well as us once we left, knowing our daughter wasn't probably sitting in a classroom crying for the next 2 hours. She even figured out why at nap time Aiko would seem to cry, it was because that was her lunch break and a new teacher came in during the nap time, she reassured Aiko she was just going to take her lunch and would be back, obviously she connected that message clearly because Aiko no longer cry's during nap time, or at least that's what she tells us :) Additionally Ms Laura is all Aiko ever talks about when she isn't at school, that tells us she has made a great and lasting impression on our daughter and for that we are forever grateful. Ms Laura is a blessing to this school and our daughter, she is loving, caring, attentive and most importantly a person who seems to love her job, you don't see to much of that nowadays

Highly recommend All Seasons Children's Leaning Center to anybody who has a toddler! My daughter started with Mrs Tyna since she was 3.5 years old. She always look forward to go to school since then. Mrs Tyna is extremely kind and always be patient to the kids. I still remember the first day I pick her up from the school,my daughter told me she likes this teacher because she's very nice. She cares about her student in many ways. I've seen my daughter learning important skills during the time she's been at All Seasons. She learn to eat by herself(she wasn't a good eater before) say please and thank you. Mrs Nina always encourages kids to read books in the class. That helps kids build their confidence. I'm surprised how much they can read at the end of the semester. Mrs Minerva is also warm and kind. She's always enthusiastic to her student. My daughter told me Mrs Minerva loves her because she's kind to her and I believe other kids feel the same way. We haven't get a chance to study in other teachers' class. But even though my daughter told me she likes Mrs Sherry because she's funny. And Mrs Tyana always say hi and goodbye to all the parents every single day we drop off and pick up the kids from the school. I cannot say enough good things about Mrs porter who runs this school. She is reliable and always willing to help. She listens to the parents and gives good advise in a child's development. Most of the parent that I know are willing to continue on with this learning center until their child pretty much age out. I'm very happy with all seasons and most importantly,my daughter enjoys going here. You will be amazed by how much your kid will learn if you get a chance to have your kid attend this school!!

But why didn't the teacher let her know when it happened? Another time my brother-in-law arrived a bit early to pick up my nephew. The kids were having outside time and my nephew was crying in a corner by himself loudly. He was being ignored by the teacher and aids. It wasn't until they saw my brother in law watching that they went to console my nephew. Obviously we pulled him out of the school. So scary to think that people like this watch our children.

I attended Baldwin Stocker Elementary from 2016 to 2021. During that time, I had symptoms of…read moredisabilities and mental health challenges, but I was not diagnosed until much later. Looking back, many of my behaviors were signs that I was struggling, but they were often misunderstood. One of my biggest challenges was a laughing tic that was outside of my control, along with difficulty communicating. In third grade, a teacher was talking to me when I had a laughing tic at the wrong moment. Instead of understanding that it was involuntary, the reaction was annoyance. A friend who witnessed the interaction decided to stop being friends with me afterward. Experiences like this left me feeling embarrassed and isolated. I also remember having a severe meltdown in second grade caused by a misunderstanding. I was sobbing in the middle of class and felt ignored. Other students did not understand what was happening and accused me of making fun of them. Over time, I experienced teasing, belittling, and social isolation. Because my behavior seemed unusual to others, I was often treated as the problem instead of someone who needed support. I wish there had been accommodations available, such as access to a counselor or more support for communication difficulties. The laughing tic was clearly outside of my control, and it would have helped if teachers had explained that to other students instead of allowing assumptions to form. My experience at Baldwin Stocker continues to affect me today. I still struggle with feeling secure, trusting others, and believing in myself. Looking back, I wish teachers had given me the benefit of the doubt instead of labeling me as a problematic student. My message to the school is simple: give grace to the students who seem difficult. There may be much more going on than what you can see. My advice to parents is to take your child's concerns seriously and communicate with the school when something does not seem right. A child does not need a diagnosis to deserve understanding, compassion, and support.

While we initially considered several kindergarten options, we are so glad we decided to stay to maximize the benefits of a Montessori education. Beyond academic advancement, the teachers at AMS were nurturing and incredibly supportive of his emotional development. We feel that the school curriculum is well-balanced between academics and the playtime children need to thrive. They have a wonderful backyard with playgrounds, and our son loved playing outside every day the weather permitted. Though we initially worried about his transition to a public first grade, he adjusted quickly and smoothly. We have seen his creativity and love for learning truly bloom over the past year. I fully believe in the Montessori method, and the foundation he built at AMS is an invaluable asset for his future. We are truly thankful to all the wonderful teachers and staff at AMS!

Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?
