Their sale prices are in line with sales at other stores, but "regular" prices are typically a little higher than what you find at Pick or Piggly Wiggly. That said, the quality of their steaks, deli, and produce is much better than Pick. I do wish their meat department would offer the option of vacuum sealing their steaks when they go on sale (love their NY Strip)...some butcher shops offer this, but I guess I understand why they don't. Anyway, if you're new to the area, or just don't frequent Sendik's because of the higher grocery prices, at least give their meat department and produce a try. Oh, and their store brand Sendik's tortilla chips, frozen 4-packs of chicken cordon blue, as well as their natural honey roasted peanut butter are all delicious, and I often make a special run to the store just for these items. Employees typically seem friendly and willing to help, and checkout lines are usually very short. My one complaint would be slightly wider checkout aisles. Most people enter the checkout aisle ahead of their cart to place items on the conveyer. Then, slide around the side of your car to get behind it and push it to the bagger. This is impossible to do as the checkout aisle is barely as wide as the cart itself.

I stopped in to pick up a few items and, as usual, left with a few more than I had planned. They had a great selection of cakes in the bakery, so I couldn't resist bringing one home. I was also looking for pea pods in the produce department but couldn't find them. When I asked an employee for help, they didn't just point me in the right direction. They personally walked me to the exact spot. That's the kind of customer service that's becoming harder and harder to find. I'll definitely be back.

They have great deals on meat and produce often and have super cute housewares and clothes! Their baby/kid selection is fantastic! Especially for baby needs(meds, soap, random feeding items). I wish they had a registry! Make sure to download their app and save $$ when shopping by clipping electronic coupons and earning points each purchase to be redeemed for $ off your future purchases. What really stood out was the customer service. The gentleman working the register was genuinely kind and welcoming, and he even gave us complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. Great customer service always goes a long way with me and can really make a difference in the overall experience. Would I make a special trip back just for the tacos? Probably not. I go back in to see if someone can take a look ... surely they would/could get the car back to operating condition. was immediately shrugged off as though it was a normal condition. finally convince someone to go outside with me. guy says he doesn't know, it's probably fine, if not go to a mechanic. I explain to him of course I'm not going to go right to a mechanic after getting my car serviced here. at this point the nice other guy in the waiting area comes out and helps me fix the alarms and displays. he unfortunately also realizes that they swapped out the wrong two tires on his car. completely disorganized, lacking customer service. They live very close to this grocery store and recommended a quick stop before I had to head back out of town again. It was convenient and easy to find what I needed and wanted inside. Compared to my DT visit it had lots of empty shelf's and everything is not a dollar at all.
