Both my engagement ring and my wedding band have teeny tiny stones on the band. One day I noticed that on my engagement ring one of the little stones had fallen off the band. I called and asked if I could get an estimate on the cost of the repair, and the very pleasant woman on the phone was very helpful and told me that even though my ring was outside the one-year warranty, two years is still too soon for a diamond to fall off even with daily wear and I should bring it in because they might be able to replace it at no charge. Of course, she said, they would have to see how extensive the damage was before I could know for sure if it would be repaired at no charge. No problem, I understand. The next day I brought my ring in and was helped by someone else - not the lady I had spoken to. I was told that the prongs had snapped and that's why the stone fell out. The repair would be much less expensive than I thought it would be, only $96! Sure thing, let's do it. Two weeks later I get an email saying my ring is done and there was a note in my account regarding the initial phone conversation and therefore the repair was done at no charge. I could stop in anytime and just pick it up! 10/10 great communication between team members and 10/10 customer service. Plus my ring was shiny and looked brand-new when I picked it up since it was freshly cleaned and polished.

Some furniture stores weren't selling any furniture from their sales floor because of the pandemic. They were only taking orders. At West Bend Furniture & Design the furniture is beautiful. I didn't have to order anything. They had so many things to choose from. Their staff was friendly and very helpful. I picked out two chairs for my living room. After they were delivered I realized that one chair I selected didn't fit in with my other furniture in the room. West Bend Furniture & Design were so kind about it, when I called to ask if I could select something else and have it exchanged. I knew they had several other pieces that would work in the room. They delivered the replacement and made the exchange without an additional charge. My husband and I are thrilled with how our living room looks now. Thank you West Bend Furniture & Design.

Their sale prices are in line with sales at other stores, but "regular" prices are typically a little higher than what you find at Pick or Piggly Wiggly. That said, the quality of their steaks, deli, and produce is much better than Pick. I do wish their meat department would offer the option of vacuum sealing their steaks when they go on sale (love their NY Strip)...some butcher shops offer this, but I guess I understand why they don't. Anyway, if you're new to the area, or just don't frequent Sendik's because of the higher grocery prices, at least give their meat department and produce a try. Oh, and their store brand Sendik's tortilla chips, frozen 4-packs of chicken cordon blue, as well as their natural honey roasted peanut butter are all delicious, and I often make a special run to the store just for these items. Employees typically seem friendly and willing to help, and checkout lines are usually very short. My one complaint would be slightly wider checkout aisles. Most people enter the checkout aisle ahead of their cart to place items on the conveyer. Then, slide around the side of your car to get behind it and push it to the bagger. This is impossible to do as the checkout aisle is barely as wide as the cart itself.
