Hearsay is that if an item is all the way to the other side of the store and the employee is lazy or overworked then the item is cancelled for being out of stock. This is the third order where things were canceled which are shown in stock. My $69 order was cut down to two itens at $19. The store itself looks like it was looted so it could be that stock cannot be located but you would think that management would encourage their teams in team meetings to try to keep things in order and to work earnestly in fulfilling orders. Walmart plus is not a free service.

The big draw is the higher quality organic fruits and vegetables. Also, a good selection of high quality meats and seafood. The only downside is their prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but it is a good trade off given a large selection of specialty items that are harder to find in other stores, including, Fresh Thyme, and Whole Foods. Plenty of parking and quick in and out for the most part. Outpost Natural Food has become a regular stop for the wife and I when looking for organic produce. -- If you have not been to Outpost before, you should definitely check it out. Lots of unique specialty item for sale. Also, it's good to support CO-OP stores like this. They add greatly to the local community.

At any rate, I needed some lottery tickets and was hoping that they would have a vending machine since the Kwik Trip down Green Bay was nearly empty. I found the store to be clean and welcoming, not as flashy or shiny as send a Sendik's, but inviting in more a small town way and something tells me that is exactly what they are going for here. The lottery vending machine was near the Customer Service desk and had exactly what I was looking for, allowing me to get in and out relatively easily, which is always a bonus for me. I didn't see a clearance aisle and didn't really need anything else at the moment, but would definitely stop here again before or after trivia down the street at Foxtown.

(I've submitted these same comments on the contact page of the Woodman's website, and I encourage others to do the same.) 1 This is now an ongoing problem at the Menomonee Falls location: One or more of the three (yes, only 3!) self-checkout lanes is always out of commission -- sometimes, all 3 -- with no staff available to get them up and running. It's not great to pay a lot of money for food that's thawing while we stand in a long line. 2. My wife and I are not tech-incapable or tech-ignorant, but please, Woodman's: Not all of us choose to live our lives constantly clutching a black plastic rectangle (what we call a smart aleck phone), and so . . . NO. No thanks. Even if we chose to own one, we wouldn't have it with us while we shop. (A handwritten shopping list, on recycled paper, works just fine.) And so, NO -- we're not going to use the Woodman's app to find stuff in the store. GUYS, BRING BACK THE PAPER STORE DIRECTORIES. At least at the end of a few of the aisles! 3. Self-check allows us to control the pace of the process, including packing our stuff. . . but, WHOA! What's this? Yet another reason to do a lot less shopping at that store? No more cash back at the self checkouts! Again, sorry, no thanks; we will not use any other method of checking out, just to get cash back. Impressed with the quality and displays on the inside of the store. We were there to pick up a balloon bouquet and small toys for a birthday party. The staff was very friendly and helpful at finding what we needed. The checkout line moved quickly. Self-checkout is available. I'm sure check-outline efficiency depends upon the time of day and the day of the week. I love the number of fresh prepared meals available here. They are always fresh and tasty.
