    I just like this brand.

How have I never left a review for this store because I stop at this place a few times a year. This is your neighborhood discount grocery store with house brand and name brand items. Eggs and milk are usually the cheapest of any grocery store. You have know what to get because some of the house brands are not as good as the name brands. I personally like the fresh never frozen pork ribs and the chicken wings when I feel like cooking them. I also like the German style sauerkraut which is what brought me in today because I'm making a corned beef for sandwich's. The produce is somewhat limited at this store because it's an older store and a smaller one. Aldi might not be a grocery store for everyone but it has its place for me for certain items and I will continue to shop the store.

Quality fresh organic produce, delicious breads and packaged foods at a great price. Treat yourself to a chocolate croissant in the bakery. Good prices on fresh flowers, coffee, wine, cheese, meats, almond milk and eggs as well as a unique selection of home goods. The fastest checkers on the planet and we really like the cart for a quarter concept. One more thing, don't leave the store without picking up a European chocolate bar or two.

I recently stopped by Pete's Fruit Market for the first time after hearing about it. As soon as I…read morewalked in, I saw buckets of vegetables: peppers, tomatoes, squash, you name it. Most buckets seemed to be about 6-8 inches in diameter and prices ranged from $1 to $5. I only wish they offer smaller buckets instead of such a big bucket. It is hard to buy in bulk with smaller household and I don't like to freeze produce. I was curious about the quality of the produce, but I wasn't too impressed. For example, the apricots looked a little banged up--kind of like the "misfit" produce I've seen before. There was upbeat Mexican music playing, which gave the place a fun vibe, and the store itself isn't that big. A security guard was stationed outside. They had yellow-flesh watermelon at $0.99/lb, and giant seeded watermelons for $16 each--which felt pricey, especially since I had just come from Costco where I got a decent-sized watermelon for $6 (though admittedly smaller than the ones at Pete's). I also noticed mangoes going for $2 each, which again felt steep. I had been hoping to find some Mexican pastries, but nothing really stood out, and there weren't any prepared foods available. However, I saw they got a catering menu which I thought it might be good to have a food court selling those items. I was expecting something more like La Michoacana or Fiesta stores in Texas, but this wasn't it. In the end, I just picked up a few Mexican candies like Pulparindo and called it a day. I was a bit disappointed with the fruit selection, especially the lack of tropical options. On the plus side, they have a fairly large, gated parking lot, which is convenient. I'm glad I visited, but not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

First time visiting the Tosa Farmers Market - the only other two Wisconsin farmers markets I have…read morebeen to are Madison (amazing and unbeatable) and Brookfield (smaller than Tosa). It had a fun and lively atmosphere right next to downtown and it was pretty easy to park down the road. I wish there were more produce and fruit options but I think that is just due to it being early in the season. They had some vegan and GF prepared food stands which was nice to see! A super long line at the donuts stand (not sure what the hype is) and lots of beautiful flowers

It's heavy on charm (nestled near the Tosa Village and bordered by lush green trees) and has all we're looking for in a farmers market. True, they don't have several venders selling, flowers, say. But, here are 2-3, which is plenty for me. There's usually options for various produce, flower venders, baked goods (usually a vegan baker as well), cheese, dip, meats, coffee, popcorn, etc. On our last trip, we got a gorgeous bouquet of peonies, king oyster mushrooms, a bag of greens, and two containers of greek almond dip (garlic and dill). We also discovered there was a new vendor there serving breakfast sandwiches. We had already eaten but are now already looking forward to next weekend to give them a try. They also usually have some sort of live entertainment to enjoy while you wander. A gem of a farmers market in the midst of a gem of a community. Get to it!
