Yesterday one of the wheel studs snapped which shouldn't happen because I always use a torque wrench for my tires, so I am sure it was a defective stud. When I went to ask for the warranty, they looked for any excuse and told me that studs are not covered under warranty? Really??? Any reputable parts store would just accepted the defective part and have it replaced with the manufacturer at no extra cost. They wouldn't even waste their time hustling with the customer. On top of that if they ever accept your claim, they will not refund you money. They will replace it with another defective, bad quality part and you will have the same problem again and again. They sell the cheapest auto parts in town because most of them are bad quality and they will find any excuse to keep your money. So do yourself a favor and buy a quality part somewhere else. Your safety and mental health are more valuable than a couple of bucks of savings.

Then I get a phone call saying my car won't start at all, and they need to do another $300 diagnostic to figure out why. I call back and say "No way it doesn't start. I just drove it to you." ... and so my wife and I take another 20 minutes to drive back (She's a Nurse, and missed work for this) to go get my car back. Turns out, the car drives just fine. It's just that the mechanics didn't know how to start a 2006 Kia without triggering the Anti-Theft system. Confidence completely lost. So many hours wasted. And I still need my clutch fixed.

When test-fitting the rear tires, the tech used a front tire (instead of back tire - different size) and said I needed 1/4 spacers. So I ordered 1/4 inch spacers despite thinking I needed bigger ones. When they went to mount the wheels, they said - 'Oh no, you need 1 inch spacers - 'we fit the front wheel on the back instead of the front'. So I then ordered 1 inch spacers at my cost. When they finally fit the wheels, all was good (but it was not). When I got two people in the car or enough weight, the back tires would rub in the wheel wells. I thought it might be a suspension issue as the tires were fit properly. They weren't. I scheduled the car into a different garage to address the suspension issue. It was not a suspension issue - turns out, WheelXpert fitted BOTH spacers to the rear wheels which spaced the tires too far out which made the wheels rub the outside of the wheel wells. Not only did they get me to order the wrong spacers in the first place - they fitted BOTH spacers (1/4inch + 1inch) to the back wheels to create a rubbing issue on the back end!!!! WTF. I'm not a tire guy and even I am smart enough not to do this!! Will never go back......

New update June 19. I went into store to confront a call…read morethat I received from Masood's personal phone number. I wasn't 100% sure but when I went into the store I put an order for paint and called the phone number that was trying to harass me at my place of business a week prior (I recognized the voice but wanted to get any doubts out of the way). So I called the number when Masood was in front of me twice and he reached for the phone after trying to get my order. This of course validated my suspicions about his intentions, he was trying to extort and harass due to the review that he saw in Google for something that he was 100% in the wrong. After this he got very aggressive and threatening and essentially said "get out of my store if I see you here again I will kick your ass". I am now following up with a formal complain through a few parties as this guy clearly showed what his intentions were. Beware of this business, bad business practice, aggressive employee and not only will he not admit wrongdoing he will go after you yo harass you. Previous review: I had to change my recent review to just one star. I've been going to this place for a long time now and have bought 36 spray cans by my count at $25 a can, you can guess I've spent some money in there and that's not including other supplies. I go to this place because their cans are good quality, the tips don't drip and overall they spray well. The problem at this place is the customer service and the overall service one receives as a customer. The staff is knowledgeable but they think they levitate and don't walk. They make themselves out to be super busy and have no time when there are no customers around. They are also rude at times and it seems like every day is a different experience. It's as if their mood is whatever they bring that day. I was there yesterday first one in the store before anyone else shows and spoke to Masood about getting a color matched spray can and that I needed other supplies and tells me that he'll help me in a couple of minutes for the supplies. He goes out for a smoke and starts attending to other people on the lot (ok I understand they have customers that have body shops and are there all the time) comes back and is too busy to attend to me. 45 minutes later, I ask where my paint is since many have come and gone before me with their color matched paint and he comes back with a small can not a spray can. 45 minutes to get the wrong order and to not have attended to my other supply needs. With this kind of customer service I am surprised they still have a business during the pandemic. At the end the color match was wrong and I had to come back for them to redo it another day.

First of all, it is hard to believe that this is the head office for auto value. wow what a huge…read moredifference between their stores and here. when I first walked in the smell of cigarette smoke by the front door will kill people; when I finally got in there (after gagging) the counter staff were all on their cell phones oblivious to the fact i was there. when I finally got noticed the customer service was horrible. so anyway as I'm waiting for my order to be brought to the front i overheard the lady in the office beside the front door and she was very rude and talking to the person on the other end of the phone like they were completely stupid. aa I am loading my car I'm assuming that it was warehouse staff came out and lit up not even a foot from the door making it impossible for a non smoker to breathe. but that wasn't the worst part. they were very loud in their complaints about management. so in a nutshell: miserable rude employees that made this loyal auto value shopper head for napa stores.
