That alone is a game changer, especially as a busy parent. Instead of spending my evenings in the kitchen, I get to spend that time with my kids. Another huge plus: they offer kids meals, which makes life even easier and keeps my son and daughter happy with healthy options. My boyfriend and I went in thinking to ourselves, "we'll just try it for a few weeks", and we we've had our meals weekly from here for the past few months! We love it! We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality. It feels good in my body and most importantly, I feel good knowing that I am eating good food!

Update after owner's response:…read more Thank you for responding. I do want to clarify a few points so future customers have an accurate understanding of what happened. The delay was not only due to the power issue at the venue. Your team arrived about 35-40 minutes after the scheduled start time with no prior call or text. The power issue was mentioned after arrival and then it took an additional 20 minutes to relocate and set up before service began. In our direct messages after the event, you did acknowledge and apologize for the late arrival, which I appreciated. Regarding the edible images, while they were complimentary, several of them were crooked and cut incorrectly. Your staff advised guests not to eat some because the paper had adhered to the back. Complimentary items should still reflect the quality of the business, especially when they are part of the presentation for a child's birthday celebration. I appreciate that the owner provided a partial refund after I reached out privately. However, I'm sharing this simply to provide a complete and accurate account of the experience.

The reviews online were already questionable, with plenty of terrible ratings back in 2024 and 2025 and only a small handful of recent positive ones. I should have trusted my gut instinct and stayed away. Save your money because this food truck is simply not worth it. Honestly, store bought frozen pizza tastes better. You are genuinely better off buying a Bettergoods Italian Wood Fire Margherita Pizza from the grocery store. On top of the lack of flavor, the pizza was extremely oily. I asked the cashier if the pesto could be placed on the side, but she said no because it was part of the sauce base, assuring me it would not end up greasy. I also asked if the crust would be crunchy. It was anything but crunchy. It was completely soggy, and as you can see in the photos, the paper lining underneath was completely soaked through with oil. Hobo Co Pizza needs to reevaluate how they make their food. As someone who dines out most of the time, I can tell you this is far below standard.
