Unbelievably grateful we found Katie here. My husband has had knee and shoulder surgery, and after not having great outcomes with a previous PT, we decided to look someplace else. There seriously isn't enough I can say about Liz and her team. I went in with a high ankle sprain (torn tibio-fibular ligament with syndesmosis) and couldn't run, jump, balance on one leg, walk without limping, and much more that we take for granted in our everyday lives. Liz is the best physical therapist I have ever had! She is the fastest solver for pain relief. She is also a delightful person who focuses all her attention on you...she listens. When I had my treatments with Liz, she sent voice videos with written instructions for my specific therapy exercises. I found these extremely helpful and much better than stick figures I received from others. All the claims they make are true. There is no waiting for appointments. Following medical treatment for Bell's Palsy, where the physician stated that I may have have a condition that doesn't improve much. I located Physical Therapy & Lifetime Wellness On-Line and made an appointment with Katie Milano. Katie made no promises, but after a few therapy sessions, my condition improved significantly. I have spoken with Liz about various ailments and she she is clearly an elite level PT. I have seen other PTs for various aliments, so I know how tough it is to do Physical Therapy. First, Liz's knowledge of the body and what it takes to heal and maintain it is ridiculous. No matter what I say is in pain or tight, she has at least a couple different ways we can work on it. Second, personally she is so kind I will do anything to make her happy. Third, while very kind, she is very firm with what I must do to heal (sometimes I need that push). Liz and Brooke and the entire PT&LW team are fantastic. I was suffering from less and less flexibility in my left knee, hindering my ability and confidence in skiing and running. While I'm embarrassed at my ignorance of how bodies work, I now completely trust PT&LW with their knowledge and ability to systematically treat and prescribe "homework" to rehabilitate me. I'm still a work in progress, but I how have much greater flexibility and can confidently return to the sport and activity I enjoy. They are all so knowledgeable, nice and encouraging. Brooke and Liz are awesome! I came into their office with a Grade 3 ankle sprain only 8 weeks prior to a climb up Mt. Rainier. With Brooke's assistance, I was able to regain sufficient strength and stability in my ankle to successfully climb Rainier, and subsequently climb a dozen other mountains over the course of the summer.
