Carlos did an awesome job on my tattoo. Not only was this place clean and affordable, the customer service was awesome. He took the time to talk through what I wanted and made my idea personalized. I got the tattoo I wanted at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop! I will be coming back! read more

I decided that I was going to get an intimate body piercing over the weekend that I put off for years. Several reasons prolonged my decision but I had the courage and the time, and as a birthday gift to myself I decided to just go for it. With that being said, choosing the correct professional was not a short or easy process. I did call around and look online to find the right person. Being that I live in NJ but work in NYC I have many options as to where I can go. When I called the shop Carrie answered and said that the shop doesn't discus prices over the phone. At first I was a bit put off because that means I have to travel all the way there first before I can make a financial decision. When I gave it some thought I realized that truly is for my own best interest. The price could be right and I travel to the shop and then everything else there is wrong! That surely was NOT the case. Carrie was professional and friendly and made the experience very comforting. She was direct in her approach but sensitive to my nervousness. The shop and facilities are clean and her tools all sterilized as I saw them freshly out of the packaging. Her method was fast and easy... I won't say painless as any piercing has some kick to it but being that I have other piercings I can certainly say she minimized the pain as best as possible. She stands by her work and had an open door policy where she assured me if I have any questions/concerns to come right back. All the cleaning products were included and there was no up charge for that or the jewelry used. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the work and I'm so glad I found this gem of a location. If I decide to get any other work done no matter how big or small this is the location I will come too. Thank you very much Carrie and the entire staff for taking care of me! read more

Joey is a great artist who's work is first rate & efficient. Every experience with him is A-1 & he's a creative consummate professional. I look forward to every session. read more

Went there on a walk in. The place is pretty big and clean. You'll see plenty examples of their work in binders and around the shop. Joey did my four line script tattoo in a timely, efficient manner. I told him what I wanted and simply got the job done. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely go back :). It's not the cheapest, but they're worth it. read more

Such a good experience!! Got my belly button pierced by Carrie and she was super sweet and reassuring. Super professional and the piercing came out so good. Very happy and very good and healthy environment. Thank you again!! read more

I have never seen such a great tattoo place and I am talking nationwide. I referred my daughter. She wanted a modest sized cat on her arm. The artist was Carlos. He did an exact replica of a book she had. Incredible detail...so beautiful she almost cried. Oh and ask to meet the dogs... read more

piercing lady was extremely rude and very closed minded. Not going back.

I go to Carlos every time I come here and he always provides me with the best work also always has the drawing ready for when I come in so there's no need to sit around and wait! Always will be my go to place for a tattoo even though it's far from where I live it's worth it. read more

I got my belly button pierced here and I loved it. Carrie was very cool and easy to talk to if you had questions. Everything takes less than 10 mins and everything was very clean and sterilized. It costs $65 to do and didn't hurt as much. Will go back again for other piercings. read more

Carlos is my new favorite at Physical Graffiti. I came in to get prices initially and one of the small tattoo and he said he could do it right away would take him 10 minutes. He was very knowledgeable he made sure that my tattoo which stand out, he could have let me just have the color that I wanted and been disappointed later on down the line. I have a few more to get before my tattoo journey is over and I will definitely be going back to Carlos and Physical Graffiti. read more

My go to place for body jewelry. So much to choose from and Carrie is always so helpful if you are not sure what you want. Awesome peircer and its always a pleasant experience. read more

I'm only rating the piercing artist. The tattoos I've seen people get are amazing. But the lady who did my piercing was TERRIBLE!!!! First of all, the people who work there tricked my mom into thinking a captive beads ring heals faster (which I got a second and third opinion by other people after the piercing and they said that's a lie) She pierced my belly button, explained to me how to clean it so I simply followed what she said. It wasn't healing at all, so I went back to her and she said to "Well if you listened to me and actually decided to do what I told you this wouldn't have happened." So she changed her whole story on how she said to clean it and basically made me look like an idiot to everyone watching. She then told me another way on cleaning it so I started to follow that way and it still wasn't working. I went to another tattoo shop and they checked it out, immediately said it was infected. I had to take it out then and there because of how awful this lady was to me. It left a nasty scar and I do hope that I can get it re-pierced but not by her. Go to other places to get pierced, don't go here. read more

Really friendly & knowledgeable. Went in to switch my nose ring for the first time. Would feel totally comfortable going back with any problems or questions. A lot of shops give rip off vibes & charge you for every little thing. I liked how personable & down to earth the staff was. I bought the ring and she put it in for me (I asked another place if they'd do that for me and they said no they'd have to charge me for a piercing...just to put the ring in an already pierced nose!!) I left with no questions or worries! Highly recommend! read more

I think the customer service and friendliness could have been better. I felt the piercer Shelby was kind of dry towards me. I was hoping to get a different piercer in the reviews but no luck. Not a smile or a joke, nothing to make a person doing something thrilling for the first time to bring their guards or uneasiness down. The nipple piercing I received after the adrenaline went away is crooked so now I have to make the decision on whether to leave it since the pain and healing process is nothing like any other piercing I've gotten. Directly after getting the piercing done, the piercer started talking about sea salt measurements and what not regarding care of the nipple. I mean literally who can think with the pain and adrenaline flooding your senses. It was weird cuz I had to tell her to slow down can you give me instructions on paper. She kind of took the experience away with the dry routine. Oh and YES you are given a care package with instructions on a post card and a whole demonstration so yea it just seems weird to have done that in the moment of me trying to wrap my head around getting the piercing done in the room. Also, the piercing I actually wanted they stated I could not do because my earlobe is too small. I will be getting a 2nd opinion. I'm glad they didn't try since a nipple ring (I have big nips) didn't come out right. Other than that the place was clean, I was able to walk in last minute and was priced properly. Nice care package given at the end. A week went by and I thought maybe the piercing was crooked because of swelling. Well it wasn't. Called the shop and they tried to say maybe my breast is lopsided. I mean geez can you ask for a better experience than giving me a crooked piercing and complex on whether my body as a woman is not made right by God himself. Lmao. What does my breast have to do with you putting a needle in the center of my nipple and not sideways. They said to come in and they'd fix it for free but my boyfriend think it's a bad idea regarding infections and them playing doctor with my body. I should have just went to my regular spot in the city. Safe to say I won't go back. read more

Carrie is awesome and so is her giant puppy!!! My daughter gets all her piercings done with Carrie. I had my first with her today. Very professional!! read more

Looked them up a week ago, saw Carrie was the piercer. Read the reviews and decided to go in today, she pierced my nose, she was thorough, nice, answered all my questions and was super friendly, highly recommend Carrie. She spent some time after explaining how to care for my piercing. Super clean and experienced!!! I typically don't leave reviews, however I went in today off of others experiences so figured I would return that to a possible new client.... Carrie is great! read more

The best tattoo I ever gotten was from here definitely will be coming back very friendly people make you feel at ease

Well I'm just two months shy of my 54th birthday and I've been thinking of getting my very first tattoo since my 50th. Finally pulled the trigger today. I was fortunate enough to have the owner, Paul do the work. What a great guy. I was so nervous but Paul had me at ease with his knowledge, humor and passion for what he does. I'm extremely happy with the outcome and highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking to get their first or hundred and first tattoo. read more

I recently visited Physical Graffiti with my mother to get pierced. I waited for almost a half an hour while the staff played pool. They didn't acknowledge me over their own conversations and phone calls. My mother and I felt extremely unwelcome. Eventually, the piercer, came to talk to us. She was not particularly friendly, reeked of cigarettes and talked to us as if we were second class citizens. The store was highly recommended to us so I proceeded to have my belly pierced and from the get-go, this piercing gave me nothing but problems: the bar was crooked and my piercing became infected. I was given aftercare instructions and followed them EXACTLY. I have several other piercings from various shops and have never had a single problem. Her bad attitude really deterred me, so much to the point that I had searched her name on google and saw this: http://florida.arrests.org/Arrests/Stephanie_Fleischman_5681315/ In my opinion, this is no way to run a business and will no longer be a patron of this establishment.. read more

This is the only place I will get pierced! Carrie is amazing! She is thorough with all directions for care and the establishment is very clean. I've never had an issue here! She always makes herself available, even for a simple jewelry change! I even got two small tattoos by Joey. The healed nicely and still look awesome! read more

went to get my third hole pierced on my ear and I was originally told a specific price but when I went to pay, they automatically tacked on an extra $20 for the cleaning solution that I "had" to buy. other places I've went to have never forced me to buy their solutions; i could just go to a pharmacy and pay less. they did a fine job on my piercing; I just wasn't happy that I was forced to buy a cleaning solution that didn't even work. read more

This was my first time getting a tattoo here. I was lucky enough that they weren't busy when I walked in and Thor was able to take me right away. I love the piece he did and it matched what I wanted exactly. The women who works there and greets you when you walk in was awesome. I highly recommend this place. read more

got my belly pierced by carrie! love it so so much. if your tiny like me w not so much meat on ur belly , it'll hurt a bit more but she makes it so easy an relaxing !!! thank you so much i love it!!!! totally recommend read more

Got my first tattoo there and I have nothing bad to say about it but compared to other places the minimum price for a tattoo was a little high when comparing to others in its area. But other than that it was a great experience. read more

I went to the shop a little less than a month ago. When I first walked in they did not pay ANY attention to me. In fact the receptionist was to focused on the text message they were receiving instead of answering some of my questions. The decor of the place was nothing spectacular. Looked a little trashy and had cigarette odor as soon as you walked in. Anyways I ended up getting a tattoo which ended up looking nothing like the drawing or the idea I gave him. After the healing process I noticed the lines were not straight and the detail was horrible. I also noticed the colors were not filled in properly and were overlapping into the other colors of the tattoo. When I went back to complain they told me that I would have to pay to get it fixed and I was outraged because THEY were the ones that did it. This is not a way to treat customers and I will never go back to them. I definitely do not recommend this shop to anyone. I ended up going somewhere else to get my tattoo fixed. If you do not want a cracked out job for your tattoo steer FAR AWAY from Physical Graffiti! read more

Most amazing people in the shop, beautiful art they creat here. This was my first tattoo I was a nervous wreck and Thor was a complete Spanish sweetheart, he had me in super quick and out super quick. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who would be getting either their first or 100th tattoo, it's super clean, and sterile and worth the money. So go right to this one! read more

love this place! had my helix pierced here once a while ago and although it couldn't stay in (to no fault of the piercer i just have trouble with piercings) she was clean and professional. i also had my tattoo done with Carlos and he did a phenomenal job! read more

My daughter came to have her navel pierced here earlier in the year and at first I thought the piercer that assisted us, Carrie, was very nice and helpful. I was told that if she needed to replace the cleansing solution and or salt to come back and I would receive it free of charge. Upon return to the store the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, was told to stick a foot up my child's ass because she was using too much salt and cleaning too often even though she followed Carrie's instructions to a T. What they said would be free of charge was ultimately paid for just to shut the staff up. Will NEVER be returning or contributing to this business in the future. My daughter's piercing is finally healed and she had zero issues in the whole process. Business tip, don't be rude and unprofessional towards your customers you lose business and money and you leave an imprint of a disgusting attitude to many! read more

So I have been here a few times.I have been both pierced and tattooed here. Let me start by saying junior was amazing and hella nice to me. I love my tatt by him and had intentions of going back to him for cover ups and a half sleeve. But after last night i will never step foot in that place again. I came in to inquire about a cleansing solution for my daughters piercing and upon asking, the very rude and arrogant lady behind the counter asked me what the piercer had suggested from the original place I got my daughters septum pierced. So I told her then proceeded to tell her I still wanted more and her ever so lovely, arrogant, disgusting answer was "well if you didn't trust me enough to Pierce your daughter then why would you trust me enough to sell you my care products." Well Mrs I'm not nice to my customers, I did in fact come to you previously with my other daughter and you gladly turned me away due to her age, I still came back to attempt to give you a little business and you again turned me away. Please note your arrogant nasty stuck up attitude has now lost a customer and hopefully some more. Either way if I did not get pierced there or have my child done their, I was still coming to your place of business to purchase an item from you, a customer is a customer and it shouldn't matter where they or their children where pierced. That is completely disturbing that you would talk to or treat your potential or returning customers this way. PS junior I'm sorry you are losing out on a customer but her personable skills suck big time. And if I could give you a zero for a rating I would but that's not an option so for now I'll give you a 1. read more

This used to be a really great shop to get tattoos and piercings done about 3 or 4 years ago. But since then, I find the staff to be really unfriendly and rude. I walked into the shop last week looking to purchase some jewelry and get a tattoo. Carrie, the piercer, was very offstandish and didn't really listen to my concern about my piercing. They claim to have a large selection of gold jewelry, but she was only able to find one earring for my type of piercing. Disappointing. Then, I walked to the other side of the shop and I had to wait 15 minutes before one of the lazy tattoo artists there got up to actually ask what I was looking for. I was looking to get a SMALL tattoo by my ankle. This would be my fourth tattoo, so I have a general idea of what tattoos go for in regards to pricing. This guy slapped me with a figure of $300, I'm guessing because he saw I was a young girl and eager to get this tattoo. Unbelievable! I walked right out of the shop and hopped over to Euphoria Ink in Roselle. They have a much friendlier staff, beautiful facility, and they are very professional in the way that they handle clients. They offered me a much more reasonable price for the tattoo I was looking to get. I will never go to Physical Graffiti again. I used to think so highly of this place back in the day, but things seem to have really spiraled down over there. It's unfortunate. Elvis did a phenomenal job on my tattoo at Euphoria Ink. read more

the guy was really nice, it's just he's extremely unprofessional. first of all, he didn't give me any paper work. i should've been out of the door, but my stupid self stayed. second, he pretty much just freehanded the industrial piercing. he didn't mark out or ask me if it's fine. because of that idiot, my glasses are hitting the end of the barbell. i would not recommend going here for a piercing. search for app certified workers. even if the drive is far, it's completely worth it. trust me. read more
