I'm a 48 year-old female who was doing yoga everyday -- generally fit but maybe a little too slender and frail. Alec put me on a training regimen of heavy lifts at my requests - squat variatons, deadlifts, a little bit of upper body (bench presses, shoulder presses, back rows, lat pulldowns). I feel great after every workout -- he pushes me to my limits, but with a smile and gentle encouragement. He makes me believe in myself. I have felt so proud of myself after starting this journey -- I've put on about 5 lbs, mostly muscle. My strength has gone way up in my lower body, plus I can see a big difference -- I definitely have more curves, and I feel better in my body. I definitely recommend Alec highly. He has such a deep knowledge of how the body works and what it takes to train it for specific goals. He is so easy to work with and talk to. He always responds to my texts. And the space is beautiful and welcoming, with great lighting and a very clean environment. There is street parking, but I park at the Walgreens next door and just buy something lol. The coaches, environment, community, and most importantly workouts are unlike anything I've experienced before. It may not look like it but I've been a part of a few other gyms and this blows anything else out of the water. I moved to LA a year ago (January 2021) and decided to change my life for the better. Finding GoTribe allowed me to do just that. With amazing class programs, encouraging coaches and a wonderful community, I look forward to hitting the gym 6x a week, and I look forward to seeing how much more I can lift, or how much faster I can run, or even how much longer I can go before tapping out. Since joining, I've gone from 306lbs to 226lbs through learning how and when to push myself harder, and especially with nutritional guidance from the coaches. Coach Kiera has been exceptional in encouraging, coaching, and helping me attain my goals. I am truly so thankful for her guidance. There's not much else to say about this place besides JUST TRY IT. So I called. Natalie answered the phone and we spoke for about 30 minutes. Natalie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! In addition, she is very knowledgeable and very willing to share her knowledge. I was somewhat intimidated upon walking in because I just started working out on my own; but, there is no need to be afraid. Everyone here is so welcoming, so helpful and very very friendly. After my initial evaluation with Chris (who is also amazing) he referred me over to Julian. I would like to start off by saying, that Julian knows what he is doing. He helped me launch into my fitness adventure and helped me establish a strong foundation, taught me proper form, how to avoid injury and how to train smart. I haven't looked back since. At home or limited equipment alternatives to equipment workouts; not everyone has accessibility or time to reach a gym so her knowing what are some at-home or in-motion alternatives is helpful (e.g. using a stretchband at work to strengthen my arms when I get a bit of downtime) 5. muscle & form education - learning what is the right form for workout and understanding what muscle groups are being used. Example: Learning what muscles are being engaged when you're doing hammer curl vs bicep curl helps me understand what I want to tighten. 6. How to take care of myself for long term wellness (e.g. walking backwards on treadmill helps with strengthening the muscles around me and make me feel more confidence that I won't injure myself) While I'm not a success dramatic picture worthy case, the confidence, the knowledge & practice she instilled into me will be life-long. I love Circuit Training type workouts and this definitely was one of those. Think cardio meets strength training in a great musical setting. I'm a fan of lists and what I love about this place is that it was new, super clean, everyone calls you by your first name, the music was AMAZING, it worked me out in a way and in places I don't normally hit, I had a couple of resistence options for weighted balls and bands that are incorporated into the almost one hour class, everyone was smiling and having fun, the floor is elastic making the workout really interesting and addicting, and the instructor, Dana, was super energetic and supporting without making you feel like you were a total rookie, which I was. I recommend you try it out. If you are just getting back into it, try the Basic class. If you are a sucker like me, go straight to their regular class. It's an A$$ kicker! I'll be back!

As someone who travels often, I was told by the owner, Chris, that I could pause my membership once during the six-month contract. However, I ended up pausing for two weeks on each commitment but never got the chance to utilize that time effectively. Also, Chris frequently canceled our scheduled sessions. Out of three scheduled workouts per week, he would cancel one each week, which meant I was only able to work out twice a week. There was no compensation for these cancellations on his part, yet if I were to miss a session, I would incur a $20 charge. He took a ten-day vacation without any prior notice, and there was no opportunity to make up for those missed sessions. While he promised to extend the contract to accommodate for that time, it didn't change the fact that my card was still being charged, increasing my total without my approval. On the other hand, Nico is fantastic--he listens and is always reliable. Chris, unfortunately, has a lack of business savvy, and I felt my needs weren't being taken into consideration, which ultimately drove me away. While I enjoyed my workouts with Nico and appreciated the environment at BnB Gym, where the management runs a tight operation, I could no longer stay due to issues with being charged $1,500 with six weeks remaining in my contract, all without any warning. So, I had to move on.
