I was busy finishing up school before the wedding, but many of the things that didn't go to plan on the wedding day were not due to this. Lorraine was meant to have two staff assist her on the day of the wedding, but they "cancelled" on the day. Lorraine had lost her voice from being sick, so having helpers was definitely needed on the day. Not to mention we had 200 guests. Our wedding singer tried to leave at 4:30pm, but I had hired him until 5:45pm. He said that he told Lorraine that he had to leave early. This was never communicated to me before the wedding. When I saw the musician packing up, I asked Lorraine if he was leaving, and she said "yes, you only paid for partial service". I had to go speak to the musician myself to explain that we had paid him until 5:45pm. Fortunately he stayed. During the ceremony the groom and groomsman were asked by Lorraine to stand in the kitchen area. This was never a part of the plan for the wedding and the bridal party almost got to the wedding ceremony site before the groom/groomsman. Our wedding cake was an ice cream cake, which I had to personally pick up after 1 hour off the table and take it to the freezer because it was melting and hadn't been looked after. This is something one of her hired helpers could have been there to help with. During the night I asked Lorraine if we could turn off the fluorescent lights in the wedding hall because I had purchased candles and lots of string lights to light up the venue. She just looked at me, and the situation wasn't fixed. The line for dinner was incredibly long and moved very slowly. This is probably because we only had one line for the food instead of two (a line on each side of the table). I feel like an experienced wedding planner would have known to organize two lines. I do appreciate many of the things Lorraine did help me with on the day of the wedding. She printed and laminated our wedding vows, helped light candles, check guests in, helped with the clean up and drove leftover food home for us. She also helped me with the wedding time line. I just expected a lot more from a day of coordinator and I wouldn't recommend her services.

When booking online I always get a response within the day either confirming or letting me know they are already booked. I really appreciate that! We just hosted a birthday party for my 4 year old granddaughter and 60 guests and were happy to have balloon artist Gideon return! Gideon is always on time, comes 20-30 min ahead of time to set up, brings his own extension cord for outlet, and is prepared with all tools, supplies and signage. He has a nice picture board showing all the designs both classic and new that may appeal to your guests, young and old alike! This year the popular item was a balloon purse holding a puppy! But he also did some beautiful large Unicorns, cute backpacks, swords, and I saw many other colorful creations! We reserved him for two hours and he sculpted about 50-60 art within that time frame. His replies were always very fast (within 20 minutes) and he made the booking process so quick and easy. Their prices are very reasonable as well! On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! The makeovers available here make her so happy. The first time daddy took her upon finding it in the mall for the first time and did an express makeover which is a quick walk in makeover. The second time I took her on walk in and it was a special moment as the mermaid who did her makeover happened to be in costume as her character mascot for her first birthday and remembered her by pictures. It was a sweet moment for all of us. This time we decided to reserve an actual package and did not regret it as spots filled up quickly after the new year. You pay half when you reserve your spot which can be done through their website and the other half after your appointment. The Mermaid squad staff was excellent and did well trading off and switching back and forth between the little princesses. It was organized, managed well and always with friendly sweet smiles that only mermaids can give princesses can. Despite that there being only two of them they both did a great job. The package included choosing an outfit to borrow for the session whether you wanted to have a mermaid be part of your world or save the day as a superhero to becoming a beautiful princess attending a royal ball it was definitely worth it with the beautiful photo backdrops and display and after the makeover, it was time to play! The smile on my daughter's face was priceless. Making friends there too was a bonus.
