Thank you Yelp All Star Elite friend Irene M. for showing me Container land! This place has so many amazing options to store baked goods, dry goods, candies, cookies, sauce bottles and more! It's a one stop shop to prepare for a celebration or bake sale! A vast array of cupcake holders, paper and plastic cups, cellophane bags, boxes, baking pans of all sizes, party trays, are found here! Service is available and they will check your items and help you with any questions. I found party toothpicks, clear plastic containers for my homemade li hing prune mui, and goody bag containers! Free parking just outside the store. A great place to store everything! ; ) read more

They moved from Mapunapuna to Puuloa Street. I found it a little difficult to find, drove around the block 3 times, but really it's located across Wendy's near the airport., Quite an interesting place where you can find all your containers for your baked goods, soups Abe bentos! The staff was not friendly or helpful and when I called to inquire about the location, the person was not cordial. Not sure if I'll be returning, but this place is well stocked on containers. read more

Containerland - Party Supplies Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Shopping in Mapunapuna, Honolulu, Hawaii... I've wanted to visit Containerland for a very long time. When I mentioned it to my neighbor, I think she felt insulted because she asked if the packaging would make her baked goods taste better. I think the presentation of a product at a bake sale will help! Anyway, I thank my friends, Irene and CeCe, on National Girlfriends Day, for going with me. They make every outing more fun! CeCe even bought two packs of Hello Kitty straws for her friend! They were really cute and were the last 2 packs left! I got a container that can securely hold ten cupcakes in place - so that the cupcakes won't slide around during transport. It was quite enlightening to see the various types (sizes, colors, and shapes) of containers - aluminum, plastic, cardboard, etc. I'll be back! read more

Parking is small and limited. I didn't think the prices were that much of a savings. I guess it's good if you have a particular container you can't find on the island. read more

The dream place to hold it all... The Happiest National Girlfriend's Day was a delightful surprise to see my friends Nadine and Cece as they kept me company while my car was being serviced and was expected to take awhile which was so thoughtful and nice! We took an adventure to Containerland which is right along Puuloa Road in Mapunapuna so don't blink or you'll miss it...just look for the flag waving you down curbside which will take you to the building in the back that has a decent amount of parking. It's nothing that I'd ever expect as it was literally a containerland home to various types including the usual to the very unusual like butterfly and animal shaped container though I was looking for something specific they really didn't have it but had something very close that I haven't found anywhere else yet and may return to grab them. We also found some super cute Hello Kitty straws that Cece friend was interested in, it's such a great place to bring out the creativity in you when you find that perfect item to pack it in. Thank you! read more

While this place is a little hard to find and the parking lot is small, it is worth it. They have so many containers for baking, cups/lids, straws, etc that you might need for a bake sale or party. I tried looking for some mini bake pan for my mochi bread but couldn't find it at Y Hata and checked other stores like Longs, Target (way too expensive!) The prices here are reasonable and they have lots of size options too. Workers are helpful and they ring up quickly to get people in and out fast. Highly recommend! read more

I wish had more parking or I wish their inventory was more consistent BUT I can't complain. They're there and it's another option for me to find what I need. If they don't have something that was there before, I just have to be creative with what they have on hand. Place is clean, organized and prices are visible. Staff is also friendly and helpful. read more

This is the best place to shop for any kind of containers for food, drink, serving, etc. They also sell all kinds of colors of bulk cupcake liners and paper gift bags, solid colors. Very affordable and I like the fact that they're carrying food containers and hot drink cups made of a cardboard with no toxic linings. Very nice service as well. read more

Very well organized and has most of the items One would need to accommodate their baked goods or treats. The service was a bit cold but I did appreciate the space they gave me while I was thinking about purchasing. Very clean, very organized, but also very pricey. read more

Their prices are reasonable and they have a very big container inventory. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Went in there to buy these fish sticks and Taegu fish that I saw on social media. First time I have ever been in there. Looked around and didn't see it. Went to the counter to ask for help and the guy was so rude. It was like I was bothering him. I bought it but I will not buy anything else from them. read more

They carry so many different kinds of containers. I always find what I need. They're my go place for cupcake containers- 4,6,12 packs.

Containerland carry's everything I need to pick up for my holiday goodies for gift giving. Only thing is parking can be a bit challenging at times. So plan ahead and go before any holiday rush period. The narrow alleyway to get to the small parking lot/store in back can get a bit tricky with other shoppers trying to come in, so show the Aloha spirt. read more

I was able to find an item that I needed right away. It was my first visit to Containerland and went on a friend's recommendation.

So may different options if you are looking for dessert or entree or party planning needs. Friendly workers. Helpful and great service.

Nice selection but parking is tight. I parked on a dirt patch and walked in. Friendly service and clean inside

Best selection for all container needs. I came in on my lunch break to grab a few things for a surprise party to repackage some snacks. This store truly turns your Pinterest Board into reality when planning party favors and plating needs. Parking is limited and bring a bag for all your goodies. Don't worry if you forget a bag they have plenty boxes to pack your items. Defiantly a big recommendation for all my friends throwing family parties where you want to elevate your party favors and food. read more

Easy to find, smaller parking lot from their previous location, the person at the register was friendly, and they had what I needed.

They have so many things here! I can always come in and look at stuff to find ideas if we're planning a dinner or something. Sauce dishes, plastic shot cups, foil pans and covers, paper bowls, basically all the food service stuff and pretty ziplocks. read more

I love shopping here! They have lots of great products and are really nice people. I buy my packaging for my baked goods and have always been satisfied. The only problem is the street. I hope they can get the city to fix it as it feels really risky driving through this deep water after a rain my day. I can't tell how deep it is it what's in it. read more

Containerland - Water outside of Containerland. Feels so risky exiting the parking lot. Not their fault but I hope it can get fixed. - Party Supplies Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

A whole shop of different kinds of containers?! I needed containers for cookies and chex mix (Christmas gifts) and Longs didn't have what I was looking for. I remember people talking about Container Land so I thought to stop by! And WOW. Any container you could think of, they have. From cupcake/cake boxes, to bento containers, take out containers, to cylinder plastic containers, they even have Harders syrup for juice or shave ice! I now know where to go if I need containers for gifts or even for my own personal home use! Definitely worth stopping by and checking out! read more

I can't believe i didn't know about this store until now! I actually came across this store from an employee at Chef Zone. I went there looking for 8 oz. bowls and they were completely out. I asked the girl if she knew any other place on island that sold those bowls? She said to check this place out. I'm glad i asked because i was able to find what i was looking for. Location is easy to find, small parking lot out front but lots of street parking. If you park on the street be prepared to step in water (looks like it was a little flooded in that area). As i walked in the store i was in awe with how many different containers they had available. It was a little busy that day due to graduation coming up, but the workers were able to assist me with what i was looking for. Everyone needs to check out this store!! read more

If you need containers, this is the place to go! Take out boxes, kitchen supplies and more.

Everything! Customer service in finding the right packing container for my needs and speedy checkout!

I was referred to Containerland by a large wholesaler when I could not find take-out 5oz soup bowls. Being a first-time visitor to their store, I was overwhelmed with the variety of containers they sell. However, what stood out was how helpful the person was behind the counter. When I couldn't decide whether to buy 4 oz or 5 oz bowls, he took out his ruler to help me while I was trying to take a picture to ask others in the committee which size was best. I appreciated his expertise and friendly nature and will definitely be back. These days, good customer service is everything and can make or break a business. read more

Must check out! You'll find probably all your bento, party supplies. Huge selection of items. Combustible Containers as well.

I LOVE Containerland. Any time I am taking food to a party/potluck, I enjoy getting my disposable containers here. I like that I don't have to buy a ton of containers. They do have a card minimum, so if you're not planning on buying much, bring cash. read more

Container land has pretty much everything you need, and other cool containers/things you might just end up buying! Went to look for large containers for parties and they had quite a large selection. This place is the bomb along with Awesome customer service. For a catering job I had at work we were short 2 plastic parfait containers so I checked yelp and saw my favorite store would open at 8am the next day so I could run and pick it up for the catering a few hours away on a Saturday. So I get there at 7:45am and MIKE is making HULI HULI chicken to sell for a friends fundraiser. So he comes to my car and says they usually close the last Saturday of the month. He asked me what i needed, so I told him. He walked me into the shop and sold me what i needed even though he wasn't open. They have the cutest containers. Keep up the great work. read more

Containerland store is a baker's heaven with almost everything you need for your bake sale or party. They have container galore for all occasions and for your gift giving needs! If you are starting a business in the food service, you would love this place too! They sell some of their supplies to retail stores but I'm glad they have a retail store for public to buy. The retail store are not known to many. Containerland used to be near the Kalihi Marukai store with the other warehouses for years by the canal when the owner (father) was alive. It was a great find that my friend shared with me when her sister was planning a party. The business was hidden way inside with other warehouses and you would have never known it was opened to the public because most of the other businesses were wholesale. Now they are in Mapunapuna for awhile and their other business name (wholesale side) Diamond Head Distributors are on the packaging of products that you may remembered seeing at Longs Drugs, Marukai, Don Quiote and other stores. They also go by Island Distributors. I heard the son/family took over the business. Now getting back to what they sell...They have green & bio compostable food & party supplies, plastic flatware from different size forks, Ice cream spoons, taster spoons, short handle spoons and even one with long handles, cup cake holders, cake boxes, cake pads and covers, bags, shave ice supplies, bowls, jars, plastic containers, different size drinking cups, lids, coffee supplies from cups and stirs, favors food containers, boxes, bento boxes, hot dog sleeves, wax paper bags, gloves, vegetable plastic bags, portion cups and more! Some items you may not find in the retail stores! See photos! There is a small parking lot in the front. Look for the blue building (old Napa Auto parts bldg) on the right side going south/Makai (ocean) direction. They are way pass the cross street, Mapunapuna Place, Bank of Hawaii & Hardware Hawaii but before G.P. Roadway Solutions. Their address is 666 Mapunapuna St. There are a few stalls in front. They are open early from 7:30 am until 4pm. At least they are open for 4 hours on Saturday from 9am -1pm but closed on Sunday! They except credit/debit cards with a $10 minimum charge. Don't forget to bring a bag for your purchase or perhaps they may have a empty box they can give you as I got for my purchases today. Thanks for reading my review and hopefully this place will have items you may need. The few friends I've shared it with in the past are repeat customers. =) read more

Had I known about container land before traveling with all my dinnerware (had a destination wedding), our lives would have been much easier especially when most of our luggage had all our tableware supplies for the wedding. They have most of the stuff I needed, like favor bags and boxes, mason jars, paper plates, napkins, mini forks and spoons. Aluminum' sealed bags, diff sizes of ziplock bags, to go boxes and serving trays. read more

What is this place??? It's a candy store for bakers, cooks, crafters, etc... I make chocolate candies for the holidays and I am so glad I came here. So many packaging options! The owner or manager at the front is so dang helpful too. We thought he was just being nosey asking everyone what are they making but he is actually helping his customers. One of the customers said that he's making jello, and the owner said that this packaging will not work and suggested another one! I asked him for lids for containers and he asked me what I was making and suggested a tub and had to go to the back to grab it. It was perfect so I purchased several of them! I love this store! It's organized and everyone is so helpful and friendly. If you have a hard time finding the place, just look for the humongo water puddle in the middle of the street and it's on your right.
