Instead, the process dragged on for months. During that time, I had to constantly reach out for updates because I was almost never contacted first. Between text messages and more than 20 phone calls, I was repeatedly given new completion dates that were never met. Almost every conversation ended with another reason for the delay--whether it was recovery errors, replacement chips, syncing devices, transfer issues, emergency closures, waiting on parts, or being told it would be finished "tomorrow," "in a few hours," or "in a couple more days." Unfortunately, those promises kept getting pushed back. I understand that data recovery is complex and that unexpected problems can happen. My frustration isn't that the recovery was difficult--it's the lack of honest communication and realistic expectations. If the job was going to take months, I would have appreciated being told that from the beginning instead of repeatedly hearing that it was almost finished. I spent months following up through texts and over 20 phone calls, often being told I'd receive a callback that never came. I even rearranged my schedule multiple times to pick up the drive, only to find out it still wasn't ready. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. If you decide to use them, be prepared for significant delays and make sure you get realistic timelines before leaving your equipment with them.

When I arrived, he immediately checked my phone and realized the port wasn't broken--it was just dirty. He cleaned it out, handed my phone back, and simply said, "I don't rob people." I even offered to pay him something, but he refused and just gave me his business card. Truly an honest business that deserves to be trusted and supported. He then tells me I also needed a battery, so I approve the replacement of both. I pick up my phone and it is running extremely hot and battery life is tanking every few mins (thus all the problems begin!) He had to replace the battery 3 times (so he said since he thought that was the issue) and each time was more of a nightmare than the first. I asked him if he could refund me at least the cost of battery, since that seemed to be the problem (willing to take a partial refund) and he just kept telling me he would fix it, but never once agreed to even a partial refund. I thought that was fair. Upon picking up my phone the final time and reassured it was fixed for sure this time, I again asked if it is not can you honor a partial refund (he just said it is fixed for sure this time) Well......my phone was basically broke! As soon as I took it home and started using it consistantly the heat was back with a vengeance and my cellphone screen looked like the matrix! Phone was unresponsive from the overheating and just gave out. I ended up having to get a new phone after spending over 200 bucks for him to basically break my phone! My phone was functioning fine when I took it in (just slight shadowing on my screen, but phone was working perfectly) Be careful he does not honor his work, if you can't fix a phone after 4-5 tries you should at least offer some type of refund.
