I've never bought anything more substantial, like a phone or game console, although they do sell them readily, I can't help agreeing with Craig in that much of it could well be taken-from-somebody's-hand rather than actually second-hand but nevertheless this Bristol branch offers a wide range of most things electrical. I particularly like coming here off a morning and spending a good hour rumbling through the stacks - it's always fun to go for an odd ball, something you've never heard of, sometimes it's brilliant and sometimes it's one to trade back to CeX!

And why weren't they allowed a refund from Apple, the thing only came out about a week ago!? They have a huge range of electronics in this shop; it's great just to have a browse. They have technical components and computer equipment for the tech guys who might want an upgrade, but they also have a great selection of cameras and laptops. They have a huge amount of computer games and DVDs and you can sell them yours once you've finished with them. I am not sure how good they are with the prices they will give you for them, but at least they are here to give us the option. Some of the stock prices seem a little high, but I am sure some haggling would be allowed.

I had been quoted silly money to get it fixed; originally a whopping £180, and subsequently £120, and £100. The latter quote is from a great little indie mobile phone shop in Weston-Super-Mare, called Phone Tek Nation, but they don't always have the parts, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. They said they'd contact me when the new iPhone supplies arrived. This was over a week ago, and they had already been waiting a further week since the order. So either Apple can't produce enough spares for these darned fragile bits of kit, or else I've been lost amid a sea of other iPhone users that have also dropped their phones.... I'm glad I thought to call Unlock It, because guess what? As always, the price I've been quoted beats all the rest by a mile!! He has quoted me £69.00!!! This is Tony's forte! he beats everyone on price and gets the job done. By the way, it was Abri at Tudor Mobile Services that put me onto Phone Tek Nation as he doesn't presently service iPhones, and knew I needed a quick fix. This store is about sales, not service. Other places would call customer service and get it sorted. What kind of manager would let a customer leave without solving the problem?! They got our SIM cards activated quickly and actively worked to make sure we understood what we needed to do regarding mobile Internet and SMS plans and all of the other "booster" packs T-Mobile offers in the UK. I wish they had explained a bit more about their international roaming to us, but we kind of just figured we'd be getting sim cards in other countries, so we didn't ask. I'm sure they knew about the "Euroboosters," but we didn't until it was too late to use them. Head to this T-Mobile store. You won't be disappointed. I brought my phone here to be fixed when it broke soon after I bought it and failed to ever turn on…read moreagain. The guy in the store was really helpful, filled in all the required forms for me, sent it off and called to let me know when it was ready to be fixed. However my husband then had a problem with his phone, brought it into the same 3 store and they wouldn't help him saying he had to bring it back to the store he bought it from or somewhere else. Can't see why they helped me but wouldn't help me except for the fact that I'm girly and helpless ;-) I've now had the same problem happen to my phone as my husband has had. I reset all the settings on my phone and had to delete a load of files in order to get it to work occasionally. I turned off the Email on 3 function and that seems to be solving the problem. Don't particularly want to have to trek all over town just to find out what store will be willing to fix my phone fixed, if you want a job done, do it yourself!
