I've never bought anything more substantial, like a phone or game console, although they do sell them readily, I can't help agreeing with Craig in that much of it could well be taken-from-somebody's-hand rather than actually second-hand but nevertheless this Bristol branch offers a wide range of most things electrical. I particularly like coming here off a morning and spending a good hour rumbling through the stacks - it's always fun to go for an odd ball, something you've never heard of, sometimes it's brilliant and sometimes it's one to trade back to CeX!

And why weren't they allowed a refund from Apple, the thing only came out about a week ago!? They have a huge range of electronics in this shop; it's great just to have a browse. They have technical components and computer equipment for the tech guys who might want an upgrade, but they also have a great selection of cameras and laptops. They have a huge amount of computer games and DVDs and you can sell them yours once you've finished with them. I am not sure how good they are with the prices they will give you for them, but at least they are here to give us the option. Some of the stock prices seem a little high, but I am sure some haggling would be allowed.

The sales assistant was really helpful, she sat me down asked me exactly what I wanted, filled out a form, brought me out some handsets to try and offered me a really good deal (£25 a month with free text messages, internet, music downloads, touch screen handset and 300 mins). I said I'd need to think about it and she got a little pushy but stick to your ground and you'll be fine. I went with my provider in the end who undercut that by more than a tenner a month.

I had been quoted silly money to get it fixed; originally a whopping £180, and subsequently £120, and £100. The latter quote is from a great little indie mobile phone shop in Weston-Super-Mare, called Phone Tek Nation, but they don't always have the parts, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. They said they'd contact me when the new iPhone supplies arrived. This was over a week ago, and they had already been waiting a further week since the order. So either Apple can't produce enough spares for these darned fragile bits of kit, or else I've been lost amid a sea of other iPhone users that have also dropped their phones.... I'm glad I thought to call Unlock It, because guess what? As always, the price I've been quoted beats all the rest by a mile!! He has quoted me £69.00!!! This is Tony's forte! he beats everyone on price and gets the job done. By the way, it was Abri at Tudor Mobile Services that put me onto Phone Tek Nation as he doesn't presently service iPhones, and knew I needed a quick fix. This store is about sales, not service. Other places would call customer service and get it sorted. What kind of manager would let a customer leave without solving the problem?! They got my phone lost in transit. They are not returning my repairs fee also. It has been over 2 months now and still no cooperation. They are disconnecting my calls, not responding on my email and not returning the repairs fee. They are earning their business because of phone brands like Xiaomi and One plus only but when they lose the phone, they tell it is China phone and not worth the repair. On following up for the repairs money, they make false stories, hang up on me and will start screaming. They have no right to keep my repairs fee if they didn't provide the service. In my case after the phone was lost, I got some money because the couriers company was good. Had it been for Tronixcity, I wouldn't have got a single penny. Severe action should be taken against them for playing with emotions of innocent.
