They not only fixed the problem, their fee was barely enough to pay for lunch. The second time, again a Mac(2021) that I had updated to the latest software; the software dumped a program that I use for work. They were able to recover the program all within 20 minutes. Again the fee was reasonable. I will be coming back whenever I need help with any of my computers. I also recommend checking out their computers that are for sale. Excellent prices and they look new. Not like some used computer stores that you know, just by looking the computer is used. I felt like I was inside Best Buy. The store is clean and well kept. My only complaint, they are not open on Saturday, so plan wisely. I can only say, they were fun, polite and very knowledgeable. Avoid the Verizon Pahrump store like the plague, I got scammed!…read more The store salesman (Chris) lied to me from the time I walked in until the time I left! He told me whatever I wanted to hear to get my money, then I was screwed. First, he lied to me about getting a free phone when I subscribed, then he lied to me about getting a senior discount, and then the biggest lie of all was that we would pay $146.03 a month for the two phones we got there. A month later, I got a bill for $355! I also noticed that I was getting charged for what was supposed to be a free phone, and I was getting charged for my trade-in that was supposed to be an even match. They also said they were going to pay off my old phone. I haven't seen that money yet, but based on the dishonesty I experienced so far, I won't hold my breath! When I went back to the store to confront them about the lies I was told about the free phone and other benefits. The manager told me that the particular phone I got wasn't free, and Chris was a new employee and didn't know any better. In fact, that was the excuse for every lie I confronted him with. When I asked where the senior discount was on my bill, the manager said I seldom see anyone get a senior discount, and Chris was a new employee and didn't know any better, so I got screwed there also! I tried calling Verizon corporate, but I was transferred to the Philippines, and they were almost useless! I did find out that this store was not owned by Verizon, but they are authorized to sell their phones and screw any Pahrump citizen who walks through the door as badly as they want to, and Verizon won't do anything about it! Also, the cell signal sucks; I never get more than 3 bars at most, and mostly get one and have to use my WIFI for it to function correctly! They tell you you have 30 days to return your phone, but it takes longer than that to figure out how badly you got ripped off!
