Wow, I'm shocked by all the negative comments Yelpers have about Terri's Mobile Notary...My experience with Terri was quite the opposite! Terri is a very funny lady, and I found her quite delightful, specific, honest and direct. I can see how her assertive nature might not be appreciated by everyone, but I love that assertion and forthrightness because you can make some BIG mistakes that will haunt you later if you don't really understand what you're signing on that dotted line... Our first experience with signing home closure documents was positive, time-consuming, and a little confusing. Terri really does her due diligence, and her eye for detail caught an inconsistency in our paperwork that would have really caused some serious problems down the road for me and my husband. Fixing the inconsistencies added quite a bit of time to our closing, but I can't thank Terri enough for catching the error and taking the time to get a hold of the correct folks to fix the error. I have such peace of mind knowing that all of our paperwork has been accurately filed so it can be recorded by the county. Thank you for your sassy, detailed self, Terri! I recently had need for a notary that was real helpful on a real estate transaction. I picked Terri for her willingness to travel to the Carson Valley to help us meet the time constraint we had. I found her to be very knowledgeable and very helpful. I called the site when I saw it was located close to where I had a doctors app. A woman answered and rudely informed me I called a mobile site and was so weird and condescending that I just hung up. I moved on until she stared texting me, (I didn't even know who the text was from. Plus, it was all misspelled), pretty much telling me to "go to hell", then continued texting me the NEXT day! Terri Shannon is an unprofessional notary. I don't like her service. It tooks a long time to arrange our papers. She accused me that I can't trust to my husband. I am a foreigner and my English is not good enough in order to understand everything what I needed to know. So, probably I asked her many questions about our documents. It concerned about money. So I needed to know as much as possible. She counted me like a bad wife related to my husband. I think her actions must concern only her professional duties , not our private life and she must not create a quarrel between wife and husband. Dealing with this person was the worse experience i have ever had in all of my real estate transactions. Besides her obvious incompetence, she was discourteous, short tempered, mean spirited, unfriendly, cursed and complained throughout the entire transaction. A horrible 45 minutes. i would not recommend terris mobile service they did not witness the signature of the document i needed to have notarized that person who needed the signed document would not accept it because it had 2 different dates soo it was not a valid signature do not trust them to do what u ask them they will take your money and run....... read more
