I went in with folders in my hands, and I list full of questions and he took the time and explained every single step away to me what it was gonna involve the good parts of it, the bad parts and yes the stressed that could come with it as well. The fact that Michelle Abrams is reviewed in Yelp tells you 2 things: 1) her client base is more with-it than most, and 2) she is pretty good. First let's take a moment and talk about how important responsible and expeditious communication is with any practicing professional. When your emails and phone calls disappear into a void, it's hard to have confidence that the office staff on the other end are performing their other duties in a diligent fashion. The Abrams firm was always on the ball about returning and answering phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. Next there was the actual experience of interfacing at their office. They are located in downtown in a pleasantly-appointed one-story office. The Wall Street Journals in the waiting room may be a few weeks old, but you won't spend too much time sitting there. Michelle Abrams has a congenial and professional demeanor, and is able to answer any and all questions in great detail. There is no sensation of being rushed into or through anything, and while the questions posed (who gets your stuff when you die? how bad do you want it to get before they pull the plug on you?) are heavy, she provides a relaxing environment in which to discuss them, and is able to explain the options clearly and in plain language. She never told me it was another fee for the notorized. Then, these paperworks are easily to be printed out. And you could have came in to notorize, then she never told me if I made a mistake, I would have to pay another $27, and she would not correct. The mistake we'll just white out what I've done. Notaries, many times in the past, she refused to do it and refused to give my money back. So I never got my notorized and I just got empty papers now $54 for nothing!
