I stopped by at PHONE TECH a few weeks ago while heading to the Mayport Naval Station and went in because my phone was NOT CHARGING PROPERLY!! When I walked in I was greeted by the owner NOEL. When I explained my situation he did a quick smirk, reached out his I handed him my phone and proceeded to clean out charging port like he was a SUPERHERO!! Not even 2 minutes after the exchange he was done, he tried the phone on like 5 different chargers and BAM!! I was back in business!! I'm in construction so always on filthy dusty jobs so he saved me!! I had been wrapping my phone up with my charging chord for months just to get it to SOMETIMES charge like it was kidnapped or into bondage or something!! Well the craziest part is he wouldn't let me pay him!! He said a GOOGLE REVIEW OF MY HONEST EXPERIENCE would suffice. Crap!! I didn't have a GOOGLE account but I did find this YELP LOOPHOLE!! So here I am!! Noel doesn't know it but he just earned a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE on that very day!! Thanks again you SUPER COOL TECH SUPERHERO NOEL!! I've already told 3 people about your shop and next time I need something I'LL BE THERE despite living passed the airport almost to Georgia border I'll be recommending and coming to YOU & YOUR STORE!! I Talked to Apple they said they were 2 weeks out on appointments too. So I stopped in, got the phone fixed, made a friend and was back on the road 10 minutes later!! TOP TIER SERVICE!! So, long story short, GO SEE NOEL FOR ALL OF YOUR ELECTRONIC WOES!! - MATT CHRIST - read more

Noel was an angel in my life! I bought an iPhone off Ebay that came from China. It would not even turn on, just flashed the Apple logo at me. It was seemingly a scam and they did not want to refund me. So my only hope was to try and repair it. I went to Phone Tech because it was near my home and I checked to make sure the reviews were good. I came in and met Noel who right away had solutions and ideas of how he could help me. He was able to completely resurrect the phone overnight and make it run smoothly. He assembled the parts inside of the phone that were unfinished by the people I bought it from and made sure every single little thing worked. He gave me a good breakdown of what was happening and at the end; did not even want to charge me!!! That is how you build good business and trust with your customers. After I insisted, he told me that $30 for the "diagnosis" will do. I was shocked at his incredible kindness and knowledge of phones. I will be telling everyone to come here with their phone concerns. Such an incredible phone shop in town! We are lucky to have Noel and Phone Tech in Jacksonville. Go here, you will not be disappointed. Plus the shop was stylish, super clean and smelled great! read more

My iphone phone got wet and the screen went off. I took it to Apple and they told me that the repair would cost 600U$ and that I had better buy a new one. Then I took it to a person in Ponte Vedra who had my phone for over a week and did absolutely nothing after charging me 40$. After being told in that second place that my phone was beyond repair, I found Phonetech on google and decided to give it a try. I called and got great service. Nico told me I could take it and he would take care of me if it was possible. I took it and I've never been so well attended in my life! Nico told me that he would do his best to get my phone back, which in my case is my main means of work. Within 5 minutes he told me that it looked like it was nothing serious and if I could leave it there for an hour he could fix it. Upon returning after an hour my phone was PERFECT. I repeat: I have never been so well attended in my life! Nico have my respect and gratitude and has to be congratulated and so is PhoneTech for having such an efficient and charismatic person on their team. Just one more thing: The price was excellent!!!!!! Thank you from the heart! Michelle. read more

Very rarely do I have a positive experience so strong that I write a review. Even rarer do I feel happy to pay for a phone repair, but Nico and Noel at Phone Tech were just that amazing. The back glass on my iPhone cracked and after calling countless places, Phone Tech was the cheapest to replace it. Not only that, but talking with Nico about the repair and hearing his clear expertise earned him my trust with my device. During the repair, Nico and Noel were incredibly accommodating and kind. I was even allowed to watch the process, and ask countless questions about the inner workings of my phone. Nico was able to answer everything showing great knowledge and repair experience. These guys do not just give you a quick and dirty fix that they rob you for, but truly repair devices "as if they were their own" and at a reasonable price. Could not recommend them enough. read more

This is the 2nd time I've used them and every single time, they are courteous and professional. They have made sure to always respond to me through email when I am without my phone. I'll ask some ridiculous question and they would answer it regardless of how silly my questions may be. This second time around, they had lent me a loner phone and and sent me updates upon my request. I really appreciate their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I really couldn't have asked for a better team. Also, thank you Phone Techs! Every single one of you that I have dealt with are amazing and spectacular people. Edit: They also repaired some worn buttons, charging port and cleaned my speakers without me asking. They go above and beyond! read more

I am delighted to express my enthusiastic 5 star endorsement of Phone Tech owner Noel at 12740 Atlantic Blvd. I stopped in to get a few tech questions answered and was impressed with his friendly, honest and competent style of answering my questions. The experience reminded me of the kind of IT professional I was used to in my nearly 4 decades at the Mayo Clinic before retiring. Finding his store close to my home is an extra bonus considering my age. He fixed my wife's phone, transferred her data to another back-up phone and advised me on a few tech Qs regarding my phone. He is definitely my new "go to" phone tech guy. When I find an honest friendly good business I like to support them and so should you. Mark S. Schwartz, Ph.D. read more

I went to have my iPhone 6 serviced. They were very helpful, discovered the issue was un-repairable, and let me know what exactly was wrong. They offered to buy it for the parts and even paid a fair price a few days later when I had a new iPhone. They helped me transfer my information to my new iPhone. They were very helpful and not pushy. They really applied no pressure but just gave me what options they could. When my phone was all set, they even threw in a screen protector! I really can't say again how happy I am with the service they provided and the way they treated a new customer like me. read more

Highly recommend visiting Phone Tech. I needed a phone upgrade due to my old iPhone SE no longer working. Noel explained to me the exact differences and similarities between two phones I was considering, iPhone XR and iPhone 11. Sold me the phone at a fair price compared to other expensive stores. He even made sure to ask if I needed a phone case and screen protector and supplied me one to fit my job to be sure the phone gets the best protection. Great customer service, great prices. Definitely will be going here for any future repairs on this new phone. read more

Excellent customer service, very honest and quick! The store is really nice and Noel had me in and out in no time. I have a very old iPhone 5c and the screen stopped responding to touch. I asked them for a quote through Yelp late at night and Noel replied almost immediately. He was able to see me the following day and fixed my phone screen while I was there -- I was in and out in half an hour, tops, and my phone works perfectly now. They also sell used phones, so once my iPhone 5c gets kicked off of the network, I'll be getting my next phone from here! read more

These guys are awesome. I got my iPhone screen replaced a few months ago and they did it quickly and for a really reasonable price. About 2-3 months in I had some weird things going on with the screen around the edges and the screen was tapping things by itself. When I took it back there to ask about it they immediately took my phone, told me as long as there was no water damage they could warranty it, and within 45 minutes they had replaced my screen + applied a new screen protector. Highly recommend for phone screen repairs at the very least read more

Over the years our family has taken countless Apple and Samsung devices to Phonetech for repairs. Each one has been done with care and precision and always for a fair price. While these are admirable and rare traits for businesses today, they are not the best part about this shop. The best part is the way that Noel and the other techs go out of their way to treat each customers with care and professionalism. We will drive all the way across town past many repair shops to bring our phone needs here...dont take yours anywhere else either:-) read more

Simply Amazing. In an age of 'customer no service', it is refreshing to experience a store that prides itself on customer service and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. I was not even sure my phone was repairable, Noel took it performed a quick test, then we discussed repair costs which was more reasonable that I thought they would be. I really can not say enough about this Phone Tech store in Jax Fl. This was my first and only choice needed!! read more

My experience with Phone Tech was fantastic! It was a little bit longer of a process than expected but they made sure my phone worked properly before I got it back. My screen had shattered on my iPhone XR and he replaced it but the first screen he put on there wasn't working properly when he tested it so he put another new screen on there with no additional charge towards me. Customer service was wonderful and while they fixed my phone they let me use a back up phone! I would use them again! read more

I had a broken piece PS five HDMI port and I was looking for someone to call so I have I did some digging and I found a ubreakifix, who was going to be able to fix it. But they quoted me over 200+ dollars to fix it and I thought I could find it elsewhere cheaper. I found phone tech on yelp and I put in a request and they answered my request very quickly and quoted me $100 less than a ubreakifix did. The service was terrific. And now my PS5 works perfect. read more
