Giving one star because negative wasn't an option. The driver showed up and started hooking to load the trailer onto my flatbed and had hooked it by the landing equipment. My customer told him that wasn't the way to do it and his ego went crazy. He started yelling and swearing and demanding to be paid even tho he has now refused to load the trailer as agreed. Then started threatening to call the cops and have everyone arrested unless we got paid. Threatened the customer on site he would ban him from doing any government jobs every and just screaming and cussing at the two men and one WOMAN on site. Tyler not only saved the day at 107 degree temps. Due to circumstances we were out on the side of the freeway with few options waiting for various help to arrive with delays. What makes me give 5 stars is TYLER. He immediately was offering to let the 3 of us wait in his truck, drive us to a nearby stop off the freeway, listened to all intently about the situation and the car condition for how to beat not further compromise it to get it on flatbed. Horrible service. When we first called they told us we needed just a trailer to get our vehicle out. When we arrived, they said we had to pay them more money to get it towed out then to be put on a trailer. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Purchased a vehicle from them off an auction they had on November 7th. I showed up expecting to be able to pick it up on the 9th and it was completely blocked in by burnt down semi trailers. David (lot manager I think) had told me that they were going to be moved the week of 13th and so I asked if I could pick it up the week of thanksgiving and he said as long as I picked it up before thanksgiving that it was fine. The week of the 13th passed and I didn't hear anything back from them so I called on the 20th and asked and was told they would call me back that day. Called again on the 21st and was told they still haven't moved the trailers so I asked if there was any way I could just get a refund on the car? I was transferred back to David who immediately gave me attitude claiming he told me that he told me that he had no idea on when the trailers will be moved and I'll be able to get the car I paid for. I then asked him about getting a refund and he told me that he'll give my information to somebody else because he doesn't have time to deal with crybabies complaining how they can't get their car. Today is Dec 5th so they've had my car for almost a month now and are now not returning my calls. They are a tow company that towed the trailers there (have been there since about June according to their Facebook page) and they would not move them so I could get my car, have no plans on moving them other than to whenever they get to it and sold a vehicle that they shouldn't have sold until they could access it. I had to dispute the charges with my bank because if that didn't work my next step would be been to contact a lawyer. I reported them to the auction company and I'll never buy from one of their auctions again. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would! These guys towed my car after an accident. Took it to their tow yard on Friday early evening. My tailgate was smashed, back window and left quarter panel windows smashed out in the accident. Later that evening it started to rain. I tried to call them to see if they covered my missing windows, I could not get a hold of them. I couldn't get anything done to get my car out until Monday. Then to my complete shock a F'ing cat went in my car, pawed my leather seats and pissed in my car!!!! And little muddy kitty paw prints all over inside. I can't describe how pissed off I was/ and am that they covered crappy beater cars and not my car! My car was in pristine shape inside and out until this accident! I'm so mad, never use these guys, they are careless and simply don't care. FYI guys just because you think it's junk or totaled... maybe you don't know what the owner plans to do with their car. For me, mine was repaired and had to be totally detailed inside on top of it, another nonsense expense for me. Incidentally my glove box door doesn't work right anymore. The towing company or someone in their yard must have tried to open it as it works like crap now! As I said my car WAS pristine condition with everything working before they had it in their possession. Review based on a service call today (10/4) at 10:30am. Through AAA, Phoenix Metro Towing took care of our vehicle, and towed it to a repair shop 22 miles away. No issues with the service this company provided us today - The driver showed up 10 minutes early, and took care of business. A "no bs" experience. After picking up our vehicle, the driver did a 3-point turn, rather than go around the block to get back down the street. This might not mean much to some, but this maneuver saved us mileage in the tow (MONEY)! A passenger rode along - both her and the vehicle made it safely. Not much else to say. The only thing you gained was putting everyone in danger as every car that approached you went around you. After spending 2 hours trying to get a hold of my insurance company's roadside assistance, I finally got through and was told Phoenix Metro was going to pick up my car in an hour and that the company was going to be in touch with me. Given the time constraint I had, when I didn't hear from the company after 15-20 minutes I called them just to check in and was told the tow truck was on its way and that I'd be texted everything. An hour later, when the truck still hadn't arrived I called to check on the status in case there was a problem with the address (occasionally people get routed to the wrong side of the freeway), and was told that my towing request had been rejected. No phone call, no text, just dropped. Very rude woman on the phone the first time I called and I wasn't rude to begin with; I'm very deliberate about that. REALLY left me in a lurch and with little time to get the repair done on the car. read more

Do not use!!!! My ordeal started Jan 24 2021. I tried to avoid a shredded tire in the road and crashed into the side of a wall because of the fresh rain. Came back with help and my truck was already gone. Found out phoenix metro towing had my vehicle. So waited till the next day to get it after finding out the passing of my dearest mother. The guy I spoke to was completely disorganized and told me I wasnt able to pick my vehicle up at 5pm. Which is understandable, I did have a hectic couple days and waited till last minute. But he proceeded to call back and have an attitude after already explaining what I needed to bring in the next day to receive my vehicle and hung up on me. Then his boss called back and accused me of hanging up again but im not going to argue with a grown man and proceeded to tell me I had until 6pm to pick up my vehicle which I obviously wasnt able to get a tow truck there in time because they had already just told me I couldnt get it. They then told me to call an hour before I got there with a tow truck in order to get my vehicle. The next day I called my insurance to have a tow truck there in an hour because phoenix metro said it had to be there when I got there. I called phoenix metro at 9am and let them know I would be there in an hour with a tow truck and they said ok. They called me back 20min later demanding I get there now because their boss was driving there at that time which was completely different then what they told me the day prior. I had to call my insurance a 2nd time to cancel the pick up because phoenix metro wasnt able to meet me in the hour they agreed on. It was now or whenever they could meet me. I called phoenix metro again to ask when was a good time for them to meet me so i could stop by since they couldnt follow their own policy of calling in an hour ahead of time. They did NOT call me back for almost THREE hours later. When the lady they sent finally got there she asked who I had coming to pick it up, which was ez towing. She waited for them to drive all the way over and proceeded to tell me they wouldnt allow the towing company my insurance sent to take my vehicle because it wasnt licensed. Just refused to let them take my truck. I had to call my insurance a 3rd time to send a different company to pick up my vehicle which happened to be phoenix metro towing. My luck!!! So not only have I missed 2days of work and being a single mother of 3 who also just lost her mother, phoenix towing got paid twice from me! Once for the impound fee and again through my insurance. Im not one to complain but I have went out of my way to make this yelp review because you do not treat people this way! Tax Invasion Cooks!!! Forced to pay CASH??? No Number on the receipt??? They lied over the phone about a my truck being impounded. Then once I found out from both the courts and officer there was no impound, they lie and try to tell me a different story to cover their ass so they can charge their fees over their mistake. We will file lawsuit in small claims court. The driver thought was funny over $180. We will see how funny it is when the owner pays our rental expense on top of paying back our $180 and all the court cost involved. For me, it's a 1 mile drive to court. I will see how funny it is to the owner and the IRS over his 2 part hand written invoices. Welcome to 2016. How much of this money get reported to the IRS at the end of the year. I understand why they don't take credit cards like other towing services. They make up for loss by stealing from taxation. I'm sure you understand this title very well. You will also understand Form 3949A very well. If any of you were forced in paying cash for a handwritten receipt in 2016, you should also file From 3949A with the IRS. It only takes paying $14.99 a month for a service based system so everything is effectively reported through financial software from their drivers. It protects the company from theft by employees and proves innocents within a business. After having talks with different departments of the legal system, I now question the actions of law enforcement? Are they getting a cash quick back for Phoenix Towing to monopolize the system? This could turn into a serious class action case against Pinal County and Phoenix Metro Towing. The case got more interesting. When the call was over being sued for $180, the owner doesn't call back. Once he hears he is being reported for tax evasion, he calls back immediately. I would say good luck with your used car salesman story with the general public. I'm not the general public nor was the officer who called and wanted me to follow through with the report for tax evasion and thanked me for noticing their shadiness. The used car salesman has feed me another line of crook! He said if I file in small claims court, he is an S-Corp and he will have his attorneys remove my claim so they can take it to superior court and therefor I will need to hire an attorney to fight against his attorneys. WRONG!!! His tax payer ID # starts with an 86-. 86 is for a sole proprietor, not an S-Corp. As far as superior court, the guy has no intelligence of the law other than his criminal mind. The claim is under $3,500 so it is a small claims matter. If the claim was over $3,500 it would then be a civil court matter, not a superior court matter. After this review was posted the first time, he tried to have a Pinal County Police Officer have me arrested for Felony harassment. Not much the officer could do for the guy! I did business with this establishment, I get to leave a review with all the facts. It's the law!!! Those of you with handwritten receipts, file form 3949-A with IRS. Let's see where this money truly goes? If the shady officers of Pinal county are being paid cash to help support these crocks, does law enforcement pay taxes on their greediness? Mr and Mrs McGregor are using a sole proprietor under an S-Corp LLC. Very Shady!!! They funnel money..allows double write-offs with the IRS...interesting??? Their physical address is 1538 N Main Dr in AJ. His wife, Shannon is not on the property title. He improves his property instead of moving to a better home so she can't get anything in the event of divorce. I hope my $180 was worth it! We will see in court! read more

I was just told by an oil mechanic that I needed to get my car to a dealership right away due to a recall. While driving there, my car didn't go above 30 miles per hour. instead of trying to make it, I called my Consumer Cellular Service and they referred me to Phoenix Metro Towing. Not only did Barry get to me earlier than estimated, he reassured me that everything will be ok. I lost my brother this past August and he always took care of my car issues. It was almost like my brother was beside me because Barry allowed me to have a good ol cry and went with me to the dealership to ensure I wasn't taken advantage of. He even made sure I got home safe. His professional presence and words of encouragement got me through a very emotional and scary exchange. Things are scary when you don't know how to handle car issues. I'm pretty sure this was way above the expectations and I'm so grateful. If you guys ever use this service consider yourself especially lucky if you get Barry to help. If I could give Negative stars, I would!!!!!!! On June 15th 2018 I took my son to Phoenix Metro's Towing yard to clean out his mustang due to n accident that was not his fault. From the time we arrived, the tow truck driver David, treated us like dirt under his feet. We pulled up and got out of the car and saw him sitting in his truck, he made no move to talk to us, or assist us in any way. I called the # on our tow ticket and she said someone should be there, I then asked her if he was in a tow truck and she said yes. I then walked up to the tow truck, and he rolled his window down half way and asked for my son's ID and proof of ownership. Trey gave him his DL and told him the registration is in the dash. I told him a tow truck was on the way to get the mustang and he said he wasn't told. I advised him that Jared with Elite PDM was coming to pay the fees and and he told the lady who answered the phone. He then rolled up his window and got on his phone. We stood there till he was done and he finally unlocked the gate for us and took the registration. He told us to clean out the mustang, and went and got back in his truck. I asked per Jared if he could pull the mustang out of the lot for me and he said no, the tow truck can just back in. When Jared got there, he paid the fees and David was very nasty to him. We were told on the phone that it was cash only, but David said they take credit cards. Jared asked again if he could move the mustang because the tow truck was caught up in accident traffic and he said no and he was going to charge us more for waiting. After the tow truck left with the mustang, Jared asked for a business card and David refused to give him one, even though he showed him that he had them with him. Then he advised Elite PDM that Officer Ortega is a friend of his and nothing will be done about this. The whole entire thing was very unprofessional and there is NO need to treat people like that. HORRIBLE... my mom was in a head on collision and then a roll over. the car was towed to the impound lot understandably. a week ago we wanted to go see the car and get my moms belongings out of the car. however the lot is unmanned so you need an appointment to see the cars. anyway, we were told we needed lots of paperwork to get our own belongings (its the law) so my dad got the email and went through a lot of trouble to get all the paperwork done. we called today and they told us we did the wrong paperwork and kept cutting us off when we asked why. he threatened to hang up because we were upset by the trouble they were causing us. we were understandably upset after a week of jumping through their hoops, but we agreed to get the last paper signed. before we even got home we got a call from the same rude man from earlier saying he could have someone down there in 45 minutes. so all his lies earlier were just that, lies. we got there and it took them over an hour, not 45 minutes to get there. when we did the man was very rude and condescending. he was looking for every possible way to screw us over. we got the vehicle registration and found it expired 6 weeks ago. this prevented us from getting our stuff out of the car. when we asked what we could do about it he was smiling and he was so happy we were screwed. then when we wanted to leave he refused to give back the power of attorney paperwork we handed him and he also refused to give the copy of my moms drivers license back. this guy called my dad an asshole and my dad told him he was being very unprofessional. my dad told him "you work for a company, this is very unprofessional" the man responded by saying "I OWN THE F****** COMPANY HOW ABOUT THAT?" he had also said if we dont leave he will call the cops on us when we were trying to get our papers back. it was at this point i started recording from inside my car while he told us to leave and refused to move his truck so we could make a u turn. he said "you know how to put a car into reverse". this man is a horrible person and i will be finding a way to attach the video i took soon. we will NEVER be using phoenix metro ever again. none of you should either. read more

I'm only giving this company a 1 star because I cant give them NEGATIVE stars. My boyfriend and I got into a collision recently. My insurance set up a tow, using Phoenix Metro, to come collect my car from the collision site. I was told they would arrive in 45 mins. after waiting about 10 mins over the 45 mins, I gave Phoenix Metro a call just to see where they were and the approx time they would arrive, since it had been after the projected time. The man (can't call him a gentleman because he was FAR from that) that answered the phone was rude from the start. after he answers, I explain that I am expecting a tow 10 mins ago, i just need to check how much longer the tow truck would be. He instantly snaps and says, "Well i can't help you if i don't know who you are!" I then proceeded to tell him my name and the type of car was waiting for tow. He said it was going to be another 30 mins. I then asked if there was any way he could get a truck to me sooner since I've been at the collision site for about 2 hours at this point. He, again responds very rudely, saying that there is nothing he can do, he cant tell the driver to speed or run red lights. he then says that i can just cancel the tow and start all over with my insurance of course i didn't want to do). A simple no and a nice apology was all that was necessary from this man. Did not need to snap at me. I had already had a rough day. i get off the phone and explain this to my boyfriend. He was not happy that i was treated that way by a, supposedly, professional company. He decided to call back and talk to the manager to complain and let them know that one of their employees did not provide acceptable customer service. He got on the phone (the same man answered), asked to speak to the manager. The man on the phone started giving my boyfriend attitude. He was constantly answering all of my boyfriend's questions with other questions. And not being polite at all. this conversation of them going back and forth went on for about 10 mins. finally the man just says, "Your service is canceled and i AM the owner!" then hung up. Mind you, my boyfriend did not want the service canceled. My boyfriend also told me that that man on the phone was using VERY inappropriate words and names. He EVEN threatened my boyfriend. Told him to come down to the shop so he could knock the sh*t out of him. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!! UNACCEPTABLE! so need lees to say, we did not use this company and we NEVER will again! Please take this review into consideration when choosing your towing services. this is NOT how people want to be treated especially right after being involved in a car accident.
