These guys really know what they are doing. We had the misfortune to need their help after hurricane Sandy. They showed up immediately with a large crew and literally started putting our lives back together. Worked seamlessy with my insurance company so we could take care of other things. Can't say enough good things. A neighbor that just had a kitchen fire is using them as well and is very happy. Huge props to Dave and Rich who made a horrible experience dealable and for saving some family heirlooms that we thought were beyond salvage. read more

I wish there was a no star possible as a review. My insurance company gave me the name of this company and I thought that would make things easier. Wow was that wrong. Claim reported in 5/18. Phoenix sent guy out. Now is 12/18. Met with lots of company guys. They made everything worse. Problem not solved and getting worse. I think there's a scam going on. read more

Called, sales rep came to the house and stated he would try to get us a quote before he went on vacation and if not, the following week. We called several times, left messages for the owner as well as the sales rep - even went to their office. NEVER had the decency to call us back. I can well imagine the work they do if that's how they treat potential customers! read more

I worked for these people, worst company ever, I was forced to leave because they have no idea what they are doing and the owners have zero experience in restoration. Go elsewhere or you will have a guaranteed nightmare on your hands. read more

Terrible experience. Had jewelry stolen and had to file a police report. Job took four days longer than quoted and horrible customer service. I was told that a few women would come over to clean co2 damage in basement... 9 people showed up. And they worked on the ducts throughout my entire house while son was the only one that was home. Hired by our insurance company for mold remediation due to a water leak. Came in saying 2-3 days, it took a week. We gave permission for them to enter the house to continue the work on the 2nd day but they continued to show up, let themselves in without a heads up call. We never received any updates on what was being done, we just came home one day to find all their equipment gone and a completion satisfaction survey on our kitchen table. Only half the job they told me would need to be done had been completed and we found damage on our cabinets from taping and stapling the containment plastic. When I called to make complaints they returned to view the damage to the cabinets and discuss our concerns. As for the cabinets we were told "Well I know why they did it, doesn't make it right.." and still have not been given a solution to repair the damage. They also explained that they went into our attic (unknown to us) to check the back side of the drywall they did not remove to see if there was mold. Hard to believe they checked very well but ok. Then while up there they noticed the attic is covered in mold as well. Didn't say a word. Don't you think that may be something important to inform the homeowner of?? We were still unhappy so they said they would contact the adjuster from the insurance to have another meeting. Over a week went by, kept calling them for updates to find out when the meeting would be and was told the adjuster hadn't gotten back to them, they'd call me later with an update..no call. I finally called the adjuster who got back to me right away and set up a meeting for them to come out. We also had a second opinion done by a large well known mold remediation company who quoted us nearly $6000 to re-do and complete the job Phoenix had not properly done. There are no laws in CT for mold however there are certain industry standards and guidelines, which Phoenix did not follow. Neither Phoenix or the insurance adjuster care that the job was not completed to industry standards. The only reason anything else is being done is because I will not let the issue rest. We are still in the process of rectifying the situation but both still refuse to acknowledge the industry standards or complete the job to those standards. They may not care but we do. You get what you pay for... Insurance company wanted to use a company of their chose because they feel some companies "over charge." So they go cheap and we suffer. read more

Please please be careful with this company. They will do the work and not pay their subcontractors and then a lien will be put on your home or business by the subcontractors for work not paid by Phoenix. This then becomes a scary and complicated situation. read more
