All the clippings were on my yard and they assured me they would put everything back and clean up...like they went there. Well the mail box was left sticking out of the hole and they broke the supports. the neighbor said she call and they would fix it. but that did not happen and my neighbor suggested i fix it..really why I didn't break it. Originally gave me a quote, and provided me with his "insurance", but never called me back and hasn't returned my phone calls. I believe the insurance he provided was for lawn care, and wasn't designed to cover tree removal; and when I asked about this he stopped returning my calls. In our last conversation he implied he would have the insurance confirm it was for tree removal after the weekend on the first business day, but as it turns out, now he's ghosting me. Made me waste a week thinking I found a company to do the work I required. I could have spent that time looking for a company that could do the work. Basically multiple reviews for his former business echo this sentiment. This is why he renamed his business from Hillcrest to Hill.

Seth (the owner of SKJ) responded to my inquiry within 24 hours and that same day (day after my inquiry) came by my home to provide me with a quote on removing trees. I had two large trees that needed removal. One of which was mostly dead and half of this tree had nearly split off and was being held up by the tree in front of it. One more big storm and there a chance that near broken off half would take out part of my roof. Seth was honest, straight forward and transparent. His price beat out other quotes I received. He broke my quote down into 3 pieces with wood removal. One tree (dead one), two trees and I also had a full quote for that and a bunch of little trees next to it. With the season being busy, he had originally told me it could be a couple weeks to get me in. Within 2 days they had a cancelation and Seth reached out to me to ask if I'd like to fill in their opening. Next morning at 7am, Seth and team were there getting to work. They chopped up all the brush and put smaller logs through chipper. Next morning as mentioned they came back and grab all the larger logs with a small grappler machine. Once they did this, they cleaned up the area and raked everything. Highly recommend SKJ tree removal for your next tree removal and will be using them again as soon as plan to get my next tree removed.
