This was our first time here we came on a weekday night. The sign says wait to be seated and then they tell you to see yourselves. It's essentially two people that work behind the register are also the wait staff. Service was just okay. It was surprisingly busy for a weeknight with it, seeming to be a lot of to go orders and people eating in. I ordered the tofu pho with veggie broth. The broth was absolutely amazing., the tofu was not cooked properly and it was sponge like. My husband ordered their signature meat pho with 3 different beefs and he loved it. We visited pho @ university on a Wednesday night around 8pm. They very graciously accommodated all 12 of us at one table, and gave us full table service. I got the shrimp summer rolls and the brisket and tripe pho. The rolls were very good and fresh, but I wish they'd come with more sauce and been a little more tightly wrapped. The broth base wasn't as seasoned as it could be, but it came with all the fixings to make it perfect. They were generous with the basil, sprouts, jalapeños, and mint on the side. The noodles were tender and properly cooked. A couple of folks got the bahn mi and said it was very good too. This place is solid, but I likely wouldn't go out of the way for it. That being said, if I lived nearby they would likely be my go to sick food spot since I love a warm pho when I'm not feeling well. read more

Went here on a random day while I was running errands. This is located in a shopping center so you get your pick on what food places you want to go which is nice if you're with a group and you all wanted different things. Firstly you get to seat yourself wherever you want. The waitress comes to you after and is great at checking in on you every so often. The food is good. It's not spicy unless you add their chili crisps so it's good if you have spicy fans and non spicy fans dining together. The food comes out relatively quick so thats good to know that the wait time isn't too long. read more

Second time eating here. First time dining in. The staff was liked and the food was delicious. I didn't have to add any hoisin sauce to my broth because it was perfectly made. The restaurant is a decent size, great area to grab a quick lunch or go for dinner. It's never really crowded and I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

Pho Dac Biet (Beef combination) 7/10 Broth was not as beefy as we wanted it to be. The broth is the soul of the soup. Noodles are fresh and have a great texture that goes well with the soup. Good amount of beef cuts. Pho Hai San (Seafood) 5/10 I was disappointed that it came with imitation crab and imitation scallops. The broth did not taste like seafood at all but it was a nice light pho broth. Shrimp tasted great and fresh. Noodles were also fresh and bouncy. Salted lemonade drink (8.5/10) was refreshing. Perfect for a hot day Coconut juice (7/10) You can tell that it came from a can. I would have appreciate it more if I was given the can and a cup of ice. So I went to another pho place in Charlotte beforehand and I didn't really like that place as much. My brother wanted to grab some nice Asian style noodles, so we decided to give this place a try. We really enjoyed the pho here. You can sit anywhere you want, and the staff will bring the menu to you. We all ordered pho, I got the beef P3 and my brother got the Chicken, and it was very flavorful! I even took back some leftover pho and it tasted even better at night when the flavors had time to sit! They give you extra Jalepenos and bean sprouts, along with chili oil you can add. I would really recommend this spot if you're looking for some pho that feels cozy and warm! The Vietnamese iced coffee here was amazing!! Ambiance is nice. The wings and beef pho were piping hot and absolutely delish! The portion size easily allowed for leftovers! The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. and while the atmosphere was a bit loud, it wasn't overwhelming- just a lively, bustling spot. Came in on a cold Saturday afternoon, it was packed, but we found a table however this day it appeared to be not so many employees working because even though we were taken care of some orders were forgotten and others were not brought out. The food was fresh, presentation was still very good but somehow maybe they were stretched too thin. We were fairly taken care of! I wish because of how good of a product they have, and how popular they've become that they need a larger business with more people employed. Just a suggestion. I was craving pho (my favorite) and was lucky enough to find this place within walking distance of my room at the Hilton. It was only an 8 minute walk. When I came in you can seat yourself anywhere and someone came out to get my drink order and give me a menu. I ordered S3 and P1. The food was tasty and it came out quickly and the pricing was reasonable. It really hit the spot and then I was able to sit and charge my phone until it was time for my next thing, without feeling rushed to get up from the table. They have a casual atmosphere. read more

I come from a city where pho is really known so my expectations are pretty high. However, a bit hungover, really wanted something to settle my stomach. Walked in and was unable to use the QR code for the menu with the sun shining through the restaurant so had to ask for a menu. Ordered the veggie egg rolls which were okay. I also ordered the pho filet for $16. As soon as it arrived, I saw the soup was really dark in color and didn't have the light broth taste I was hoping for. The flavor of the broth was so robust and packed with flavor. The noodles were amazing and tender. Spice level was fantastic. Food is pretty good, however customer service is terrible. We watched 2 groups leave because no one even greeted them or even asked what they wanted to drink. We left because no one even came to us either. No one working there even seemed to care. They kept their heads down in what looked like hopes that some people would leave. I understand that it can be hard working there but that's your job. Literally, customers are how you make your money. Several people walking out isn't a good look for you and the worst part is, it doesn't even phase you. I'm not sure if you're just used to it but not good for business. Maybe you should have a hostess sit people so you can keep track of your customers and who is seated where. Do better! Maybe hire people who actually care. read more

It's great to see a new Pho spot in Charlotte, especially close to the campus side of town. I love this area and this was much needed. Don't get me wrong, I love the other areas too but sometimes I don't want to drive to the other side of town. The space is huge with lots of seating. The Pho is well-priced! The broth is more on the sweeter side, which I like. I also had a Vietnamese coffee that was super good! Overall, friendly and kind customer service. Best pho we've had in all of Charlotte! You can't beat the reasonable pricing, excellent customer service, and generous portions sizes. I had the pho dac biet and it came with massive pieces of tendons. Also tons of tripe, steak, and noodles. There's a bunch of sides to choose from. We got the egg noodles for our little one and he absolutely loved it! When it came time to check out, they accidentally disposed of the egg noodles that we were going to box up and immediately resolved the issue by giving new side of noodles. Should've just not offered sriracha at all... 7.5/10 Com dac biet - rice was not correct- not broken rice as it should be. Cured pork was almost spam like. Shrimps not grilled. Egg was too runny. 3/10 Clam dish - good. 8.5/10 They have beer. If you're looking for a pho spot and don't mind traveling, there are definitely other spots that are better. Overall this place is in the right spot as it's busy with college kids and in a high traffic spot. Authentic wise, the food not there. But if you're in for a quick fill of pho, go for it. Delish factor on 100!!! Omg so good, so fresh, I don't even know how to describe it lol. I got the combo with shrimp, pork and I believe chicken. Came with the freshest veggies, fried egg and some sauce that was insanely good. I don't know if it was posed to go on my lettuce or what, lol, but I put it on my rice and mixed it in and was so dang good. It's sweet yet savory. And I tried a Thai tea for the first time, so sweet and refreshing. I was in the Charlotte area returning something to ikea and happened to remember a new pho joint popped up on the CLT Asian Eats fb group. Let's just say the pho hit the spot. I like mine spicy and the chilli oil at the table has just the right amount of heat for me. The service was great. Food came out promptly.
