I wish I could give a bigger star rating but the flavor was just not there. I had the pho tai and yes it was a monster bowl of broth a little beef some tasty noodles but. The flavor was not there. The broth was just colored liquid no wow factor. I was the only customer in at noon not a good sign. I also tried the egg rolls ok still no flavor. I have been to this restaurant probably 10 times, so obviously I like it. I didn't even know what Pho was prior to the first time I ate here (It is pronounced like a cross between "fah, and fuh", not "foe") but now I've eaten pho from Pittsburgh to Seattle, and I keep coming back to Pho Saigon. First of all, bring your appetite. Even the "small" bowls of pho are enough to fill most people up. And if you want the full experience, getting an appetizer of their wonderful spring rolls is a must. The decor is a bit rundown, but don't let that discourage you. I was very happy to find this place. After a week of poor dining experiences in Casper I noticed this little hole in the wall and stopped in. I'm very glad I did. The pho was good but needed a little doctoring (no big deal its pho) but the spring rolls were excellent. the staff was very friendly and outgoing. Yes, this is authentic Vietnamese food. I grew up eating this food. The owner was friendly, and our food came out promptly. We had appetizers (fried chicken wings and egg rolls). Nothing against their egg rolls, but I prefer my mom's. I had pho and it was good. The broth was savory. I had banh bao (steamed buns) to go, which I thought had too much black pepper. I came back here after 2,3 years away from Casper and the food here is still as good as before. The pork rice is amazing and very authentic. The egg rolls are very good and crispy. Coffee milk is always the best. Food portion is huge. I will come back again tomorrow. read more

Excellent springs rolls, and I am a big fan of the peanut sauce with them. Don't pass these up. Also, don't be shy to order a soup as a main entree. It should be plenty filling for lunch. Excuse me if you are dissatisfied with my opinion, but I want to express my point of view as a vietnamese. Yes, the amount of food in one large Pho Dac Biet (Special Pho) is enough to fill anyone's stomach to the fullest, so that is satisying. But, what I do not like is the broth; it is way toooo sweet! This would fade the taste of the bone broth in the broth that is the essence of Pho. Also, please put less MSG because I could taste it very clearly. read more

Being from a more populated place, I have become pretty picky about the quality of Asian foods that I have had. This place did not disappoint. The pho is great, delicious meat in a tasty broth. Not chewy, flavorless meat like some other restaurants offer, but nice tender and flavorful meats. The traditional coffee drink was also very good. Wow! What a shocker, let me tell you. I've come in today, January 27th, 2014 to find new owners!?!?! Respectfully, I still wanted to enjoy a great Vietnamese meal. I ordered the usual, pho dac biet and an order of eggrolls. Unfortunately!!! My eggrolls we're pretty overcooked. And I mean wow, overly deep friend to the point of seeing burnt sides, etc. Now my noodles. Before I start, let me say that i fancied this place when Roger ran it with his brother. Anyway, my broth was pretty plain. No other way to put it. Had to put in my hoisin sauce to make some flavor pop out of it. Ok I live very close to this place but never stopped an tried it out. But my wife went with her friend and told me we needed to go it was fantastic. I'm always up for a new type of food. So, we went there and it was fantastic friendly clean and the price was right. Been back several times and tried a few different items on the menu and so far it's been fantastic. The best place to find Pho in Casper, Wy. The broth recipe took a few weeks to develop but within the first month the Pho broth was great. I would not recommend anything else on the menu, but I have never really expected a Pho restaurant to offer anything but Pho so usually the other items are more novelty and prepared with less care, but don't take my word for it, every time (out of the 5-10) times that I have eaten here there are a surprisingly large amount of customers eating noodle dishes and the like. his is also the only place in town where you receive an accurate plate of the necessary pho add ons, which are essential for the bowl. The servings are generous and the staff will happily bring extra sides if you ask. The vietnamese coffee is very good but the water to grounds ratio is imbalanced, I recommend asking for additional hot water. read more

The food is amazing but when I looked at my bank statement the tip amount had been altered!! I left a very generous cash tip but forgot to put a line through the tip line of the receipt and they added a $7.00 tip. AMAZING. I've had pho in larger cities around the country, even in Chinatown in Seattle, and this is some of the best I've ever had. So happy to have such authentic and delicious pho in Casper. Me and my wife often go here, I get the pho and she gets the lomein (she thinks it the best she's ever had). However, I think the best thing on the menu is the spring rolls!! These are amazing! If you're from out-of-state, you'll have to remember, this is Wyoming. The fact that we even have Pho is pretty surprising. The ambiance may be a little lack-luster - but the food is bangin'. It may not outshine what you'd find in the big cities; but, it would at least hold its own, which is saying a lot for such a little town. How can I sum up this restaurant? It is fantastic for WYOMING. It's not as good as best you will find in large cities like LA, Houston, or SF, but temper your expectations accordingly, as this WYOMING! Let me state that the food is good. Please don't misconstrue what I am trying to convey here. It is the only Vietnamese establishment for hundreds of miles. I found this place about a month after they opened their doors. The pho is good. The spring rolls were also good. Also, try the BBQ pork and rice. Hopefully, since I have left Wyoming, someone has had a chance to try the pork and egg filled chinese buns. I would literally buy every single one when I came in to dine. Usually about ten. Hopefully they have more clientele now that they've been open a while, so Anh won't be the only one serving the entire dining room....poor guy. If you are in Casper or the surrounding little towns, make a stop here. You won't be disappointed. I used to drive from Douglas, WY just to stop here and eat.
