I had a pretty solid lunch experience here with my wife. Cute on the inside and a nice color full menu, we got curry chicken and beef with snow peas. The wonton soup and sweet and sour soup was great and super flavorful, the beef was lacking a little but the snow peas were crispy Need to try a few other dishes here! read more

The food is really good. They are very courteous and friendly. Nice for a date night. They accommodate changes without any problems

In the fall of 2025 wonderful house received new owners and gave the inside of the restaurant a deep cleaning and facelift. It was well needed and a lot of people in town were not wanting to eat here anymore. Including myself. Thought I'd give it a chance and glad I did. so I've been three times now since the new ownership is taken over close to six months ago. Every time I've had great service, great food and the value for the amount of food you get as well as the quality is superb. The only thing that hasn't been outstanding, was the egg drop soup. It was very clear and bland. The hot and sour soup is above average however, the wonton soup is probably the best soup. They definitely have the best sesame chicken in town now. It's super crunchy and tender on the inside at the same time. It has just the right amount of sweetness and a touch of spiciness. I generally order extra spicy though. I've also tried three of the beef dishes, and they've all been excellent. Including today, I had the beef with snow peas. The amount of beef and the amount of snow peas was ridiculous for a lunch portion. I was blown away with the generosity for the price. Not to mention the snow peas were super thin and crispy and I could not but to believe how ridiculously sweet they were. I also ordered this dish extra spicy and it was just right probably a 6.5 out of 10 by ordering it extra spicy. Hot enough that you're getting that great red chili crunch/chili oil flavor, But not so hot that it's gonna make your tummy upset. I also love the fried rice here now. It's perfect as it Doesn't have carrots or peas, which I find unnecessary & there's just the right amount of egg. I addition the color and the fry on the rice is perfectly golden brown and not oily. The atmosphere still is a little cold and void of a cultural feel. I wish they would put on some music or Something to make It seem more exciting. However, if the food stays as good as it is, and the service stays on point, I will continue to be a patron of theirs in the future. read more

It's way good. People are really nice. The food is way good. We are very happy and the atmosphere is awesome.

Food is amazing! Got the family dinner with sesame chicken and chicken with cashews. Service is very good as well.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. I will certainly be eating here again!

Great friendly service and delicious healthy food. Happy family here. Try it. You'll love it.

Food was not great! The chicken lo mein is not good or like it should be. Not worth the price! If door dash had other options I would have went with them. This is what they call bbq read more

Over priced! Day old rubber for 90$ dinner for 3? Flavors are on point, wouldn't recommend to my friends or family. Love it or hate it! Good luck read more

I was greeted prompt at the door and seated. I had the shrimp and snap pea and ordered the egg drop soup. I added a side of chili oil as it was a tad bland. The waiter never checked back until I was done, however was very polite. read more

Food is decent but I can't get past the filthy carpet, dirty walls and overall poor atmosphere.

Wanted Chinese food for lunch. Stopped here. After I was greeted and I told her it was just me. She looked around and told me they didn't have any tables. Despite the fact there was one right there in sight. She didn't say anything else like how long a wait it would be. I left because I was on my lunch hour. read more

The food is amazing the staff incredible. Rhaelle was my server and she was so friendly. The store is very relaxing and calm.

Food was very good, highly recommend the egg drop soup! Service wasn't the greatest. Servings are huge!

Craving Chinese food & ordered at Wonderful House. Absolutely the worst I've ever had. Threw most of it away. The soup was all starch & tasteless . The dinners had space vegetables & fried rice was terrible. Do not recommend & will never go back. read more

Heard about this place from a friend. Ordered for take out and the food was ready in 5 minutes so they definitely don't make it fresh. When I received my food it was barely warm and the chicken was still pink inside. Customer service was good but won't be going back. read more

Came to Casper for the night for a concert. We don't have any Chinese restaurants in our town, so was looking forward to one. Found the yelp reviews very helpful and chose Wonderful House. Very clean and very fast friendly service. Located in an older strip mall but modern inside. Bar looked great! We had lunch combo plates beef and snow pea, and shrimp chow mein. Yummy! Everything looked great though. Lots of locals and that's always a good sign. read more

Food was fast, that was the only good thing about this place. No greeting, no communication at ALL except for "what do you want?" Mall Chinese was better than this. read more

A wonderful place to get take out. The staff are very friendly, but having to eat with some of the usual customers can be a turnoff. Many are rude and make no effort to listen to the staff's easy-to-understand accents. Down to the food- it's really great! I've never had an issue with anything being overly salty, as some suggest. I never salt things, so I'm really sensitive to it. Most breaded chicken is to be avoided for takeout, as it tends to be overcooked to begin with. But eaten right away, it's fantastic. Their Wor Wonton Soup is divine- one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. I'm also a fan of the almond chicken. True combos are also good if eating in. One of my top two restaurants in town! read more

I loved this place, from the outside it looks old but the inside is very new. Food is delicious and portions are big! Waiters staff was very helpful and cordial. So far this is my fav Chinese restaurant in town! read more

Seated quickly, ordered quickly, great portions, very attentive service, refilled our drinks continously Enjoyed this place and would recommend for yummy chinese food. read more

Okay I have been there twice now... First time I ordered lemon chicken because my friend loves it so much. The chicken was so dried out and over cooked it was not edible. I got it refired and it was the same...didn't eat it. My friend who talked so much about the place somehow choked hers down. The second time I ordered shrimp and brocoli. It was cooked nicely and the brocoli was still crispy however there was almost no sauce on it and what sauce there was had almost no flavor... The best chinese food I have found out here is the Full House in Mills. I still miss NYC chinese places though were you can actually get fresh fish on the menu and get things that are not even on the menu.... WONDERFULL HOUSE NOT SO WONDEFULL TO ME. read more

No Covid protection!! Ordered food for the family for pickup while in quarantine. When hubby went into the restaurant to get the food, the pickup area was packed!! No one wearing masks or gloves. The guy who takes the phone orders behind the bar, was coughing and sweating. He told my husband that it would be an additional 30-40min wait after we had scheduled the order for an hour in advance. My husband told him to cancel the order because he wasnt going to stay in the packed waiting room. About an hour & a half later I got a phone call from the same guy at the bar letting me know my order was ready for pick up.... I told him we canceled the order. He then called my husband a liar and that we had to come get the food. I politely let him know that he definitely does not want me to come back down there, especially after his attitude and crappy customer service!! Needless to say, that as long as he works there and the virus continues I will not order from there again. Such a shame cuz the food is good! read more

Wonderful House Restaurant - Pu Pu platter - Chinese Near Me - Casper, Wyoming

After reading many mix reviews about this place I decided to check it out for myself. I ordered beef fried rice, shrimp egg fu young and egg rolls. The rice was ok but everything else was very questionable. The shrimp egg fu young was an thin patty that seemed not fully cooked. The veggies and shrimp was thrown on top and had no gravy. The texture was very gummy and not pleasing. the eggs rolls were questionable when I placed the order because I was told they are hamburger egg rolls. That was a hint to not even get them but the man told me they were amazing but no they were not. read more

Strange location but the food is good. It's not the best Chinese food in the world, but definitely in the top three in Casper. I highly recommend the Shanghai Fried Rice. read more

My Mom enjoys going to this restaurant and finally got the chance to take me. The service was so fast it was crazy! I barely had a chance to use the restroom before our food was out on the table. The food was fresh and good - I guess after awhile all Chinese food tastes the same to me. The restaurant itself is smaller and nothing to brag about, but the staff was friendly and food good, so 4 stars it gets! read more

Stopped in for a bite while in Casper for the day. Wonton soup -Delish.. a couple of beers, the hong kong chow mein & kung pao.. all really great food! Wonderful portions .. Food was very good! The waiter had a hard time communicating in English, though, so we had some confusion with the final check amount. The menu is a little vague on the details, but had lots of options. read more

Are there today. Left review on google as well. Lousy food since restaurant was bought by new people. They should change the namee because they are doing a disservice to the original owners. Food I bought today was one of my favorite standbys; Sesame Beef. The worst I've ever had. There was literally no meat inside and the breading was fried and burnt with old grease. It was so gross I couldn't finish and complained about it. All the said was sorry and then gave me the bill. It is the last time I will set foot in that place again. If you value your stomach lining avoid this place. read more

Not so wonderful to me. Had the lemon chicken and had to send it back it was sooo over cooked. Then changed my order to shrimp with brocoli... it was full of onions. The onions way over power everything else. I have never had any place put onions in shrimp and brocolli. Will not be backwill go to full house instead! read more

My usual is Mongolian Triple with fried rice. And again I was not let down. Love their food and the egg drop soup is awesome.

We tried this with our family of five. The food was so overly salty it was almost inedible. The fried rice was quite a disappointment if you're used to actual fried rice. Best thing we ate- french fries we ordered for our youngest. That's sad. read more

I love love love this place! The hot and sour soup is by far the best I have ever had. My husband and I order take out from there every so often and when we have family in town we take them there. Staff is friendly and accommodating. read more

Good food for a fine price. Hot enough and good flavor. Atmosphere was fine, and the wait staff was very pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised by the foil-wrapped chicken. We've eaten Chinese in a lot of cities, and for Wyoming this is good. Will probably come back some day. read more

We had carryout last nightand I thought it was very good. Liked that the sezchuan pork had vegetables other than broccoli. Enjoyed the rice, thought the spring rolls a little greasy. All in all, very delish! read more

First time writer second time eating at the restaurant. It's okay for like a fast food kind of Chinese food. I got the orange chicken the first time and sweet and sour chicken the second. Honestly, the only way the business is good is the sauce that they cook with. The meat was overcooked and the sides were bland. The sauce is the best part of the meal and you have to eat it all in one sitting because if you take it home honestly it's just dog food. read more

I was here on vacation with family and we had craving for Chinese food. Wonderful House got to be the best Chinese food and service in town. Every dishes we ordered was perfection. We end up dining here once a day during our 5 days stay in Casper. I wish they'll open a Wonderful House in my hometown. I would highly recommend this place for Chinese food. read more
