I absolutely love pho and this is the only place to go for it. However, don't expect anything fancy when eating here. It's basically like eating at your grandmas kitchen table. The food is good for someone wanting a quick fix and priced accordingly to today's economy. They used to offer more on the menu but it's gotten less over the years. The lo mein noodles is basically ramen, pass on it. The rice dishes is okay but it's something you can easily make at home. Pho is my favorite food and I would call myself a pho connoisseur so I was excited to see there was a pho restaurant in Casper, especially with the good ratings. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the food, although customer service was great. Pho: extremely salty and had a weird after taste. Did not have the classic taste of spices of pho. Tasted like salty beef water and could not finish the pho. Egg rolls: came out warm to cold, it definitely was not freshly fried. I was looking for some real good Vietnamese pho So I dropped in an order the number seven. I also had the spring rolls which were just kind of thrown together. Neither one of them matched each other. As they were supposed to. I don't know what happened to them but it was a year ago I ate there and it was very good. But this time the flavor was not there and it had some weird aftertaste. I doubt if I ever go back. it was kind of a burnt taste possibly. It was also also pricey. But actually what isn't. I'm not telling anyone not to go there. that's just my opinion of the place. read more

In the middle of our summer road trip with a goal of not eating at chain restaurants as much as possible. It was really surprising and exciting when I saw that we could have good Pho in the middle of Wyoming. Thanks, Yelpers for your help. This is your traditional hole in the wall family owned Pho restaurants. They don't put much into the decor. A few tables. Basic decorations. That's about it. Even the service while friendly is very much bare bones. What makes this place good is the food. The Pho itself is super flavorful and portions are huge! The simple shrimp spring rolls are freshly made and the dipping sauce is well done. And the combination vermicelli bowl was beautiful and each ingredient was fresh and perfectly cooked. Come for the food. Just don't expect much in the way of ambience, decor, or service. That's okay though because that's what a good Pho place is all about. Great food. read more

Pho is something that I've grown up eating and the go to meal when my dad would take my siblings and I out to eat. Coming from an area where there are Vietnamese restaurants on every block, I didn't really have high expectations for this restaurant. I mean, pho in Wyoming?? Once the weather started to get cold, I was craving some soup and decided to finally give this place a try. I was surprised by how flavorful the broth was and the dish was pretty good overall. I also got an iced coffee and it was just decent. I also love com tam and vermicelli so I'll have to give them a try sometime. The menu is pretty limited though so I wish they had more of a selection but this place will fulfill all my pho cravings for now. read more

I went here based upon Tommy M's review. I'm similar, have had pho all over the US including NYC and SF and bay area which I always thought was the best pho I've had until now. I got the shrimp pho and the spring rolls this evening. There is absolutely nothing I could say other than, they both are as good as it gets and better than anything I've had prior. I would give them a 6 if I could. I think it may be the freshness of the ingredients that is a huge contributor, everything in the meal just pops of how fresh it is, from the smell to the crispness. The shrimp were amazing and there were a lot of them. Obviously the skill of the chef is just as huge but you have to have the freshest ingredients to bring that skill out. I honestly am in complete shock that I found a place like this while visiting Casper. As Tommy said, Casper please support this establishment, its as good of pho as you will ever get, at least in the states. You have two of us now saying the same thing. read more

I traveled from Colorado to pick-up a puppy in central WY. My friend and I decided to stop and take a break in Casper for lunch. What a great decision! I read the great reviews on Yelp so we drove over to this little place. My friend got the Veggie Pho and I ordered the combination Noodle Bowl - with barbecue pork, shrimp and a spring roll. This was the best Vietnamese restaurant I have been to - and I have eaten at restaurants from Oregon to PA. The staff was also very friendly and quickly prepared our meals! read more

This is a great little gem in Casper. Being from San Diego, there's plenty of Pho restaurants throughout the city. Finding this establishment was a nice treat and the food was just as good as the Pho back in my hometown. The soup and noodles were excellent and flavorful. The real surprise hit was the amazing egg rolls. I've had many in my day but these were the best I've had in a very long time. Decent portions, delicious veggies n meat, hot n crispy, and addictive! Do yourself a favor and give this establishment a go. My go-to for Pho is beef brisket and rare steak. Food - I ate the pho #7 and it is some of the best I have ever had. I have eaten Pho many places and their broth was unbelievable. I tasted cilantro, green onion, onion, and the basil in perfect harmony. My dad got the same bowl with shrimp and raved about it. Ambiance - simple but elegant decorations. The Buddha statue made me smile. Notables - the Buddha. And the food. Seriously delicious. Cleanliness - a little dated but obviously cleaned and well kept. The floors and tables were free of crumbs. Service - let me just say. The server was so kind and generous. To begin this is not the best pho in Casper - it is the best pho we have had anywhere! Background: we have eaten pho from Texas to the Northwest. We have eaten pho prepared by friends who have traveled extensively in Vietnam and know indigenous foods. We prepare a pretty passable pho ourselves using roasted ginger as a basis for the broth, in other words we know pho. We had the chicken pho. The broth was so flavorful it could be eaten by itself and you would not be disappointed. There were so many of the add in ingredients (noodles, bean sprouts, sliced chicken, sliced jalapenos, chopped cilantro, chopped green onions, Sliced onions) that use them all caused the take out bowl to over flow. Now that is value for your dollar. I don't know how the owners ended up in Casper (not a slam on Casper) but they could be successful in any large city. So, good people of Casper and those like us just passing through, please support this place. If you do not and you really enjoy Vietnamese cuisine the loss will be yours. read more

We finally made it in to try this place after hearing so many good things. The pho was amazing and the lo main was just as good. I liked the short menu but would have liked a meatless option. I didn't ask so that's on me but they currently don't list a vegetarian option on the menu. If we are just rating the food it's 5 stars. In Casper I'd give it 7 stars if I could but the restaurant itself is inexcusably dirty to the point that I can't ignore it. That doesn't mean we won't be back but it's the only reason I can't give the whole experience 5 stars. Other than that the food and service were great! read more

It's true what they say about little unassuming dives: THEURE THE BEST!!! This is without question the most authentic Vietnamese PHO I have ever had in this state. Let alone the tri-state region. Whoever makes this in this cute little dive, is a master of broth. The noodles are perfect, the meat is scrumptious, and there is more than enough for two people to share one bowl. This is the real deal. Yup, that's right, great Pho in Casper. My husband had the beef and tendon Pho and loved it. He never had Pho before and now he's a convert. The tendon was melt-in-your-mouth good. I had chicken Pho and both of our broths were delicious. I love Pho and was so glad to find this place while traveling across country. T-mobile apparently doesn't exist out here so when I passed by the big "Pho Saigon" sign on a -3* F day craving hot soup I took a chance and went in blind, without prior Yelp research. The cute little restaurant was packed with hungry lunch break folks. First time at a pho place, of course I have to order pho. I had the pho tai (pho with eye round steak), which is my usual pho order. Pho came in a HUGE bowl with way more noodles than I could possibly dream of or consume in one sitting. I forgot to tell them no cilantro, no green onion (I'm a child by taste preference, it seems) but perhaps the herbs get weak after traveling from wherever they are grown to Casper, WY so there wasn't too much cilantro-ness to it (a plus, to me). An oddity - they top the bowl with ground pepper. I've never seen this, but I have also only had pho in Bellevue/Seattle. I'll request it off next time. The noodles were super delicious and cooked just right. The eye-round steak was way thicker than usual pho meat and was cooked before being served, rather than being super thin and put in raw. My one real complaint is that the soup is super salty. I had asked for hot water to drink so it was very convenient to dilute the soup by about half a glass of hot water, after which the soup was perfect. Excellent service; the fellow in front was very nice and seemed to know a lot of the locals by name. I felt a twinge of empathetic cringe when a customer asked "didn't you go back to Japan or something??" but that's a story for another day. read more
