It tastes good every time I go the portion sizes are good pho is about 12-15 dollars which I consider to be a pretty good price and seating is always fast and food comes quick

The first time I tried Pho I silently resolved: "I tried it and it's not for me." Fast forward to present-- it's been sinfully cold out and my throat craved soup. I needed something hot and flavorful! I looked at my delivery options, the ratings for Pho Noodle Station (which should be higher!), and thought I'll just try it... I ordered the Pho Ga. I figured worst case scenario, I'm home and can doctor it up, if needed. IT. WAS. NOT. NEEDED! This dish was AMAZING! I finished the whole serving and I was so content!!! The broth was savory and flavorful!! The green onions, chicken, noodles, and cilantro paired perfectly with the broth! So happy I tried this spot! I would definitely order this again!

A refreshing pho noodle restaurant near campus! I ordered a simple noodle soup with beef and added a fried egg. It tasted good, and I could feel that they didn't add excessive ingredients to improve its taste, which I really appreciated! (In some other pho restaurants, I may get extremely thirsty after having a meal; however, in this place, no!) Their service was really efficient and friendly. Also, it's cozy inside. Anw, It's really a fantastic thing to have a bowl of pho in such a cold weather!

Absolutely wonderful food and cozy atmosphere. Every item we had was delicious, fresh, brought out in a reasonable time. Aside from the food being great, the service made all the difference. My date and I noticed we didn't have any condiments or water and as soon as we looked around, the wait staff noticed and immediately brought us out some. Small details like that made this dining experience so enjoyable and memorable. 10/10 making the 50 minute drive to dine here again

Okay, first of all, I don't think the address posted here is accurate. This location is fairly new and located on 6th St. Not sure why the address says Prospect. My friend and I dropped in here for a late lunch on a weekday, and it was still busy and packed. Luckily, we still didn't have to wait and were seated promptly. It's a small location so they don't have a lot of tables and chairs. I wouldn't recommend coming here with a large group. I debated on getting noodle soup or something else and ended up getting the bun lemongrass pork with egg roll. I'm glad I made this choice because it was fresh and delicious! I loved how they offered three different types of sauces. Only reason why I docked down a star was because portion size was kind of small for the price. They're not exactly cheap here (compared to some other pho places in town) so I ended up spending around $15-16 included tip for this one bowl.

Had a lunch here after workout. The food was healthy and tasted good. I liked the chicken vermicelli most. The Thai ice tea tasted weird at first as it somehow had a combination of chocolate and tea flavor, but it was not bad at all after I got used to it. My friend had a pho. It would be better if I could wait less time for the foods.

Here's another pho restaurant in Campustown, Champaign area. I ordered Pho with rare steak, tripe, and tendon. My wife ordered Pho with well done brisket. The Pho broth was ok, didn't have much strong flavors, and more on the oily side. The rare steak was tender, good size portion of tendon. The rice noodles were slightly over cooked. They serve a extra small plate of bean sprouts and Thai basil, and I'm assuming it's to not waste extra food. If you want more bean sprouts and Thai basil, just ask and they'll give you more. Overall, Pho Noodle Station is a decent place to eat some Pho in a pinch.

Wanted to have Phos on a cold day. Must say that I have better Phos in champana. The broth was very weak. Toppings quantities could be improved. Noodle and meat was good. We ordered the beef pho with brisket and all. The brisket was good, the steak and meatballs were fine. The dishes were also not that hot when served. Overall if your are craving some pho, I would recommend checking out other places. Ambiance and location is good for a university town restaurant.

Can't speak too much on the atmosphere because I ordered take out. Ordered bun bo hue with crispy egg rolls and both were amazing. The noodles were soft and pillowy, good amount of toppings provided, nice portion of meat. Would 100% order from here again!

As someone who's Vietnamese, I was pretty excited to see Pho Noodle Station open in the area. Overall, I'd say that it's a decent pho that hits the spot. I have only personally ever had the chicken pho and the beef pho, but I would strongly suggest against the chicken pho. The chicken pho lacks flavor and only comes with a few chicken slices. Meanwhile, the beef pho is definitely the best in the area, but also, there aren't that many places with pho here anyways. I have heard good reviews for the vegetarian pho from my vegetarian friends, but I have never had it personally. Every time I go, I have to ask for extra basil because they only give a few leaves each time. As both takeout and dine-in, it's a solid option.

MY FAVORITE PLACE ON GREEN!! The workers are super friendly-- I always ask for an extra bowl of limes and they give me one right away :) the pho is very flavorful, friendly atmosphere, and incredibly fast service!

Charged $8.95 per banh mi sandwich instead of $7.95 per banh mi sandwich :(

I ordered 3 veggie banh mi sandwiches (takeout) which tasted horrible.. at around midnight: me, husband, and child all got food poisoning since that was our last meal we ate. The next day I sent a message to Pho Noodle Station to let them know what happened and no one reached out to me. I hope no one else got food poisoning like us. On another note: I was also charged $8.95 per veggie banh mi sandwich instead of the price listed on the takeout menu at $7.95. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I was really pumped to try Golden Wheat because my friends raved that this is the #1 noodle place…read morein Champaign. The restaurant is operated by super friendly and nice Chinese owners. It appeared that they do not speak the best English, but we didn't have any trouble ordering as there was an English/Chinese menu printed out, which we used to point to the item that we wanted to order. What we got: Beijing style JaJangmyeon: I had Korean-styled jjajangmyeon, so I didn't know what to expect at first. The portion size is beyond generous and the amount of topping on the noodles was more than enough. The noodles were soft and chewy. The dish tasted like peanut noodles which I am not the greatest fan of, but my friend loved it! Spicy fatty beef slices noodles: this was really good! I am a big meat lover and the amount of meat that came with this dish made me really happy! The dish was not too spicy and well-balanced. I wish there was a bit more soup because it was just a lot of noodles, but I think this is supposed to be more noodles than soup because it was one of their 'mixed noodles' dish. Overall, it was a very hearty meal. The owners were super kind enough to give us a free bok choy+fish cake side dish which we enjoyed as well. Despite the communication barrier, the service was great and the owners are super sweet people. I will definitely be coming back!

It took a little effort to order due to language BUT it was totally worth it! ORDERING The owner who was originally taking my order was so friendly but only spoke Chinese, so someone else had to step in and help me translate. I asked for the most popular noodle soups and he pointed to "dry beef noodle soup" and "pork shoulder noodle soup" so we ordered both. After you pick your dish he asks if you want spicy or non spicy. We got one of each. I personally liked the "spicy" version and thought it wasn't spicy at all! FOOD I ran into a friend there who knows the owner. He told me everything is made from scratch! Including the noodles. The broth was perfection. So fragrant, flavorful, well seasoned, and clean tasting. Meat was super tender (both beef and pork) and pretty much melted in our mouths. The "dry beef" in the name is totally misleading because there is nothing dry about the meat. ATMOSPHERE It seems like the restaurant kept most of the interior decor from PvP bakery so the aesthetic is pretty nice. Simple, clean, modern, minimal. It's sort of a self serve style in here so you have to get your own water. Just like most Asian restaurants. PACKAGING I ordered our meal to go but the restaurant IS also open for indoor seating. Our food was packed with care! The noodles and soup were packed in separate containers. I will add a note of caution while carrying the food. The hot soup warped the plastic container quite a bit so by the time I got home I noticed that the lid was just barely hanging on and on the brink of busting open. As long as it's held upright though it should not be an issue. Overall, if you're looking for a non frills place with good authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go! Price was pretty good too especially for how good the fooAbout $11 per noodle soup which is much cheaper than mid summer and golden harbor. We will definitely be back!

Great fast-casual noodles for lunch near campus…read more The food is simply prepared and delicious. I ordered the first item on the menu: Bok Choy in Chili Oil Noodle. The hearty noodles were chewy with a slight taste of rice -- neither too refined nor over cooked. The beef broth brought the dish's rich taste and gave it some depth, while the bok choy and green onions in the soup were fresh and crispy. Even though the chili oil was a treat, it overpowered the broth and veggies so that I'd consider omitting it from the order. The restaurant was crowded with lunch-goers when I stopped in, but the turnaround on my order was fast. If you need a bite and want something simple and well made, his could be your spot.

First of all, do NOT order online for pick up or take out since it is much more expensive. The meat…read moredishes (pork, beef, etc.) in store were $16.99-$17.99. I was going to order online but they were all around $22-25. The rice special lunches in store were $9.99 but online is around $15. I actually came because my friend loved to come here a couple years ago and said it was his favorite restaurant on campus. I ordered the pork lunch special. And I was extremely disappointed. As seen in the picture when you open your food, there's just a whole ton of cabbage. I then sifted through it and counted less than 8 pieces of meat. And the bottom of the box was padded with a thick layer of rice. I also ordered a stewed pork bun. It lacked flavor and the meat to bread ratio was extremely off. I assumed because of COVID, prices went up (at least online) and less expensive ingredients were being used(meats) and more cheap materials were used to complete customer orders (rice and veggies). I know many restaurants have done this but my order was just laughably disappointing. Also I came to order on a Sunday afternoon. I was placing my order when the cashier told me that the cook was out and they couldn't make over 50-60% of the menu. That put me off a bit as I was originally going to order two things from the menu but they were both "unavailable". I think there should've been a note in the menu so customers would be notified before they spend 5 minutes looking at the menu to decide. Anyways that was a slight tangent. But another reason I gave this place 2 stars is because the cashier and workers were quite short. They would interrupt you while talking. It's just not the customer service I would expect. The only redeeming factor I believe was that one of few pieces of meat I had actually tasted pretty good. Besides this I do not think I will be back or will be recommending this place to anyone else. If you're craving authentic Chinese food, I believe there are many better options on campus (Northern Cuisine, Lao Sze Chuan, etc.).
