Was excited to try this new pho place that were the same owners as Hot Pot Heaven & it was so good! I am so happy they kept their special mochi dumplings, this was one of my favorites from Hot Pot Heaven! And I like how it's prepared. Their broth was so good. They were busy but service was still good, I appreciated how they kept checking in on us. Can't wait to go back!

First time coming here. Lots of parking, nice decor, good food and friendly service. I got the combo pho but could have easily ordered some other dishes. Lots of vegan options which is nice for my friends that are vegan/vegatarian. Service was very friendly and answered all the questions my had about the menu. Will definitely be back.

Dinner in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i... Pho N Grindz had its Grand Opening today, 9-10-26, Thursday. Its Instagram post advertised 20 percent off for the first week of operation... let's go! Parking was easy and free in the shared lot. The interior was clean, modern, and bright. Restroom was outside, at the end of the building... last door. Ask for the key first. Service was very friendly and welcoming. I was asked if I lived in the area... No... my friend from San Diego (Emmett) sent me the Instagram reel... LOL! I asked her why she wasn't on Yelp and Google. She thought it would get changed automatically from Hotpot Heaven to Pho N Grindz because it's the same owner. Ummm... I'll do it! I ordered my favorite: vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll. Yum! Fried springroll, fresh lettuce, boiled noodles, pickled veggies, and grilled pork... such variety! I'll be back!

I came here with a friend for the first time and was greeted by a friendly server. I loved the many vegan options and ordered the vegan pho. Food came out quick and the soup was flavorful and noodles perfectly cooked. It came with plenty of vegetables and the fried tofu was the best. It was very tasty. I would come back again to try the other vege options.

while the name and menu are new, the place and people are not. the owners of hot pot heaven rebranded and refreshed this joint. while i do miss hot pot, since there are no other hot pot spots in kailua, i know this new menu is more of what her passion is. even when it was hot pot heaven she would make plate lunches for the neighboring businesses, and would even make us pho if we asked in advance. lots of parking as there is a pretty large private lot for all the businesses in the area. service is always great. even though we havent visited in like a year, she still remembers us. got the seafood pho with a side of rare steak, since that is most like the hot pot i would have gotten. and while it didnt quite hit the spot since there were no ponzu & house sauces or extra veggies, it was delish as always. also like there theres dessert now. we all got the ube tapioca. next time i want to try the chicken curry. there are also a lot of items on the menu that are specifically listed as vegan, i thought that was interesting to see since thats not something you typically see on local menus. the place was also a lot more crowded than it was when it was hot pot. so good for them!

Vietnamese beef stew with egg noodles.

Had the most enjoyable mid-afternnon lunch yesterday in Kailua! We took the advise of one of the owners and ordered the Vietnamese beef stew with egg noodles, shrimp spring rolls and the curry. All three of these items were extremely impressive, in fact we LOVED each one so much we ordered one of each to take home! This place took our spice request seriously and the portion sizes were perfect. This place is BYOB- so grab a six pack across the street. It has become challenging to find spicy Thai/Vietnamese food between12:pm and 5pm in Kailua, not anymore! Looking forward to going back

Yes! We are back at Pho N Grindz because it's that great! I had the garlic chicken AGAIN! It's just so crispy, crunchy and tender all at the same time! I had planned to eat it all but there was just so much food, I ended up taken a good portion home for lunch tomorrow! The salad was so fresh! Crunchy lettuce with plump tomatoes with a light and yummy dressing! Perfectly cooked rice rounded out the dish. Do you see those crispy chicken skins? Yup, mmm mmm, close your eyes, good! Try it at Pho N Grindz, it's memorable! AND such great service with a smile! Love the people and food at this new restaurant!

Pho beef rib, had 2 huge ribs but some one ate 1 before I could take the pic...

The food and service are excellent here! If you aren't sure what to try the owners and staff can help you choose some of their favorites. We tried the house pho, beef rib pho, which came with 2 big tender ribs, the home made Mochi dumplings (chewy delishousness) that we enjoyed from Hotpot days, always gotta get the spring rolls, the Vietnamese beef stew with egg noodles which is more like soup. Everything came out timely and we're so tasty we have to return to try out the rest of the dishes. Staff are always friendly and responsive. Our new hot spot.

spring rolls at the top, summer rolls at the bottom w peanut dippin sauce!

But seriously, you can end whatever decision making process you have at this moment. They have it all at KP Market (I'm not sure if anyone calls it this, but I do now). Sandwiches, burgers, poke, bowls of various types, coffee, all kinds of bevs. Anything that you could desire to keep you sustained during a day of sun burns and big waves. I can't recall the names of the bowls that we got, but they were exactly what we were looking for. Incredibly generous portions at reasonable prices, and the highest quality of ingredients. I'm pretty sure they gave me an entire fish, and I ate the whole thing. The garlic shrimp that fantastic, and smothered in that buttery-garlic goodness. The star of the show were the accompaniments that brought the whole bowls together. The ube was flavorful and added a great texture. The kimchi was a nice add too, giving these dishes a bite to balance things out. And the sauces were nice, but not overpowering. I'm pretty sure there are a few KP markets around, and you should stop here before whatever adventure awaits for you in Hawaii. I even bought a shirt because this place was so dope.

This hidden gem of a place my cousin from the mainland told me about haha…read more She went with her family the last time they were here, so we thought, let's go! This is a takeout place only. Very crowded and the tip is to place your order ahead of time and pick it up later. We actually shared the Lechon (Pork Belly) Malunggay Pasta. It was a very large plate and lots of leftovers after we ate it. The pork was incredibly juicy and the outsides were crispy. Noodles were awesome! I also bought pre-packaged noodles to go! Go to Kaneohe to try this awesome place!

There was no line and really nobody waiting ahead of us. The lady that took our order was very nice and I appreciated that they use a speaker to talk to us so I can hear her clearly. I was surprised that there was no seating, it's basically a walk-up counter with a display of their desserts. We had to eat in the trunk of our SUV which was a slight inconvenience for us. We had no idea what to order but I knew for sure I wanted to try their famous pasta noodles. So I ordered their popular combo #2: Taro Pasta w/ Shrimp, Luau Leaves, Mushrooms, & Coconut Cream Sauce for $29.98 and a slice of their Ube cheesecake. I was shocked at their prices. If you were to build your own pasta, each topping is $8.99+. I understand supporting local businesses but dang it's burning a hole in my wallet. Anyway on to the food. The pasta was good but disappointed at how sparse they went with the toppings. The pasta noodles were good and tasted like taro. The Ube cheesecake was a bit of a disappointment. It's a big tall slice but the crust was very thin. It was lacking in Ube flavor, which if I had to guess, comes from Ube extract. I could tell because my mouth was blue after eating it. This place is pretty hyped up, I'm finding it hard to see why. Overall, I guess I expected more based on the raving reviews. My experience was just mid.
